I have my DT project for
to share with you today.

Papers: Paper Loft, MME, Creative Imaginations and Bazzill cardstocks
Accessories: pearls, ribbon, jute, button, wooden swirl, braiding cord, calendar by Jenni Bowlin, compass brad. I have used Stickles on the fire and the water on my image.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #68??? and A PROJECT!!

Good morning all of my blogging friends!!!
Today I thought that I would do something different for me.
I hope it's fun for you!!!
I thought that I woul play

I hope you have a cup of tea or coffee. It might take a few minutes as I have taken photos of my not so clean room to show you!!! LOL

I do have a fun project to show you!!

Well this first picture is as you walk in my room/studio.
WELCOME!!!!
yep, that is my loyal furbee friend laying under my workdesk. His name is Laynie and he is everywhere my feet are!! LOL.
He lays under my workdesk by my feet as long as I sit there. And he follows me everywhere I move it. Right on my heels. If I stop he bumps into me!! LOL..

Well let get a little closer to my workdesk. As you can see I have my computer on the desk by the wall so I just have to turn around from what I am working on and it's right there. Next to it if you look close I have my sewing mahine.. It has to be VERY VERY close as I do use it on ALMOST EVERYTHING!!

Now let get behind my desk and see what I have on it.

As you can see not much on it.. as far as work in progress!! Not even a cup of coffee!!
You can see my copic marker in those little buckets to the left. OH HECK WHAT A MESS THAT has become since I have over 100 of them now!! But in the next photo that is going to change!!

READY????
I am so excited to show you this!!!!!!
Now look at my new holder for my Copic markers!!!!
OH MY GOSH I am so excited!!!!
This little gem came from Michelle's Scrapbooking and more if you want to pick one up. They are now a tad pricey BUT OH SO WORTH IT!!!!
Look I even have a cup of coffe this morning!!

Let's get a little closer look at it..
Should we????
sorry all of the photos are so dark. It is so gloomy and raining outside! But it has cooled off just a tad. Anything under 100 degree is welcome !!
Don't you just LOVE IT????
Okay so you are asking me what is it that I have on the top?
Well I will tell you.
I have put my candle on the left and Halloween Magnolia card in the middle that can be seen in a post below and the cute Edwin on the bottle well that is my hand sanitizer!!
Now let's get that down and talk about it.. As that is my project for today!
This is a refillable bottle of hand sanitizer and it was so plain and ugly so I decided the other day to fix that!!! heheheheheeeeee
I have colored him with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. I have cut him out and I CUT THE TULIPS OFF. I thought that he would look so shy and cute with his hands behind his back like he was trying to hide them because they are dirty.. LOL...
I have added a band of papers around the bottle from my scrap bag and added 2 different trims and a cute little checked bow!!
Now just how cute it that???
I LOVE HIM!!
No more ugly old well used bottle sitting on my table!!!
If you click on the link above it will take you to Magnolia-Licious to purchase this little cutie..

Okay now let's move on around my room a bit.
If I am sitting at my work table the closet with tons of papers and just stuff is CRAMMED in there!! LOL.. OH BOY what a mess!!! But it all an organized mess as I do know where everything is!! LOL....
both sides look the same so only a photo of the one side today.

next if I am sitting at my work table I have these long cute shelves that house alot of my things. As you can see I have a ton of junk on top of there right now. Things that need to do and things that I need to ship out!

To the far left you will see that I have 2 cabinets.
Oh and just what do I keep in them???
Let's go have a peek..

The top one has a lot of my paper flowers in it. In little easy to take out clear buckets.
If you look to the left of there you will see that I have SOME of my ribbon on a ribbon rack that my WONDERFUL HUBBY made for me years ago. Love that thing also!!

So what is in the bottom cabinet??
MORE PAPER!!!!
and boy what a mess that is!!!!!
LOL...

Well I have to tell you that this was fun and the first time that I have played the WOYWDW.

I hope you have enjoyed your trip around my little room/studio.

Just to see how many of you have read through the post.. Let's play a little game.
I have a secret package of fun little goodies here for someone that leaves me a comment.
I will pick a number out of a hat and post the winner to my blog on Saturday with my Magnolia Down Under DT card.

Have a very WONDERFUL HUMP DAY and I will be back tomorrow with my card for Colour Create Challenge Blog!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge Side Step card

Good afternoon all my blogging friends.
I hope your week is going well.
Today I am back as promised with a new card for the
challenge: **IT TAKES TWO**
use both Edwin and Tilda on your creation

I have made a side step card. This one is a bit more sturdy than the first one I made after taking a few hints and tips from you my readers. :o) THANKS!!
For those of you that have not done one of these yet and would like a link.
Just click here to find a tutorial.
I have use some of the very new Magnolia stamps. I love this collection.
I have used #122 EDWIN WITH BINOCULARS, #666 SEA BACKGROUND and #306 LITTLE MERMAID TILDA.
I have to tell you just how this card came to be. I received my DT kit from Magnolia-licious and was doing the awww and oooouuussssss over the stamps and just happen to say to my hubby that I was going to do a card with Edwin using his binoculars looking out at the ship in the sea background and my hubby said now why can't he be looking at the cute little mermaid??? LOL... MEN!!!! So that is how this card was done. Perfect for this challenge. I showed him the card and he just laughed at me. Because I took his advise. LOL.... I really like just how it turned out. So thank you for your support and idea Rand.
I have used some of the very cute CLOUDY SKY paper by Magnolia Ink and can be purchased at Magnolia-licious.
Papers and these cute little stamps can also be purchased at Tickled Pink for you girl's down under.

Close up view of that little sweet mermaid and the background stamp. I have used my round nestie to pop the background on and have used brass brads all around it. If you look close you will see that I have used a very cute little rub on fishy swimming with Tilda.
Now it's he just handsome in his sailor suit??I have colored all image with my copic markers and watercolor pencils. In this photo you can see the blue trim that I have used just under Tilda in the water.

Here is a side view so you can see the folds of the card. I have used Bazill cardstocks, Magnolia Ink paper and MME paper.
Embellies: I have used some Jolee's, K & Company and the little crab is by Martha Stewart.
I have used my distressed inks for all the edges. I did NOT sew on this card. That is strange for me! I sew on all of my cards. LOL...
I hope you enjoyed your stop here today!

Graduation Edwin.....Magnolia Down Under Challenge

Good Afternoon!!!!!
Yes, this my second post for the day!!!
The challenge this week is
Polka Dots

This week my nephew graduated from high school. I have made him a card with his school colors and lots of polka dots. I have done a photo today of the card laying flat so you can see some of the lifted layers.

I will be posting another grad card sometime this week for a great nephew of course in his school colors also. These are a true challenge for me as boy cards are just not as fun for me to do. I have a very hard time with the balance of a simple card for a boy with NO flowers and all of the other fun stuff that I normally use on my cards.
I do hope that he will like this. On the inside I have made a pocket to put a little cash in for him. I am sure he will like that part of the card. LOL..

Well let's have a look now......

Card Ingredients...
Papers:
bazill cardstocks, Core Dinations cardstock, 7 Gypsies, Best Creations Inc,
Karen Foster Designs
Stamps: #118 GRADUATION EDWIN can be bought at Magnolia-licious ...
Congratulations stamp by Whimsy stamps
Ink: Copic markers, watercolor pencils, Distressed ink for edges
EmBellies: square brads, K & Company clipboard sticker, ribbon brads
Tools: spellbinders (round) sewing machine

I LOVE to work with POLKA DOTS!!
I hope you are inspired to come a join us this week at
Magnolia Down Under Challenge .
Make sure you go and check out all of the inspiration from my WONDERFUL team members!! The samples by the rest of the DT are wonderful!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
hugs, Janiel

Easter Blessings

Morning everyone,
I have to tell you that I had so much fun making this card. I have taken two of the Easter Magnolia's from last year and masked them together. I think they look like big sister and little sister.
I colored them with my copic markers add a bit of Stickles in a spot or two. I then started to dig into my flower drawers to find just the right ones and a few pearl stick pins a butterfly charm and a couple of white feathers and some acrylic leaves. I then took this really cool puffy swirl sticker thing by me & my Big ideas and added it right to the image and then added stickles to it for some sparkle. I did used my circle nestie for the image and I cut out 2 scallops for the outer edge. I added a few pearls here and there and used another butterfly charm and used my wire to make antennas. I used some cute pink and with checked ribbon to finish the card off. The sentiment is by Lota Rubber Stamps. I think it fits perfect! This card has been inked and sewn.

I will be entering this into the
Magnolia Down Under Challenge # 35 Easter.
Quixotic Paperie Challenge #16 Leave it out. If you look in my mix of flowers you will see 2 of the prettiest green acrylic leaves tucked in there. I love these and don't use them often enough.
I hope you all have a great day...
Thanks to all of you that take the time to stop and comment.
I really do love the hear from you. It really does put a smile on my face.
Hugs and many blessings,
Janiel

PART II 6x6 Recipe pages......

Good morning..
Getting a very late start today as blogger wouldn't let me up load!! So now I am so far behind so this is going to be quick...
Remember last week when I told you I would start to show you the recipe pages that go in my cute little album??
Well, today I will show you 3 of them very quickly...
Please take a minute to leave me a comment. I would love to hear your thoughts on these.
6x6 papges are NOT easy to do recipes on!! I will NEVER do this size again!
Okay to start with I have a page for Vanilla Fudge. I have used a very cute Tilda by Magnolia on this page. Many different papers as always and some very cute cherry's that my Mom crocheted for me. A ribbon and a few flowers complete the accents for the recipe.

*******************************************************
The second recipe is for Sugar Free Apple Pie and I have used a very cute E. Bell called Tania Baking. It is by Belles'n Whistles. I have used a apple on the recipe card by Magnolia.
This page has a pull out tag for the recipe. I have used many different papers and some ribbon and flower and ladybug button to complete this page.
************************************************************
And now for the third one showing today is for YUMMY Pumpkin Roll. I have used the cutest little Edwin from Magnolia. He is so cute in his little baking hat!! I also used the silverware by Magniloia. This page also has a pull out tag for the recipe. I have added a ribbon pull tag on this one.

If you miss the ablum that these all go in you can see it on the blog roll below or you can click here.
All pages have been inked with distressed inks and some have even been stamped on the edges with different swirl stamps. I have sewn all pages. Some Items on the pages have been popped with foam tapes. i have used my copic markers and water color pencils for the coloring.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY TODAY!!

Please take a minute to leave me some feedback.
I will be back tomorrow with a Sugar Nellie DT card matched up with Mojo Monday.
Hugs and THANK YOU...
Janiel
