No peeking!

I still needed a few last minute Christmas cards, so I will show you these over the next couple of days!  First up is one using Peeking from The Cat's Pajamas.  I just love this little bear and had to create another card with him this season.

He's paired up with new papers from October Afternoon and colored to match with my Spectrum Noir markers:
DR5, DR3, CR11, CR9, CR6
TN3, TN2, TN1, GB2
JG1, DG3, DG2, DG1, CG2

I also used one if the newest CutUps dies from TCP: Toppers.  They new Topper and Holiday Topper CutUps come as sets that you can snap apart for multiple options!

And lastly a shot of my tag using one of the sentiments from the same Peeking set.  ALSO I got to pull out some more new Washi tape...this one coordinates with the new OA papers :)

My layout is based on this weeks Split Coast Stampers sketch.  OK, now its back to wrapping prezzies...so no peeking!!

Unforgettable...In every way

Its time for a new Inky Impressions challenge and this week we want to see something inspired by song lyrics!  Every time I look at this "unfrogettable" sentiment I would sing the old Nat King Cole Song, "Unforgettable", so this was an easy pick for me!!

I used the newly released Mischievous Christopher from Inky Impressions,  Just love him :)  For my card layout I used this months SFYTT from Jen del Muro.  My papers are a combo of October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket.

We hope you join us over the next fortnight in our musical challenge!  Have a great day and thanks for stopping in!

A sweet little Notebook

Happy Monday!  Its been a hectic week around my house with 3 birthdays and lots of visiting family, so I have been so tickled  to have crafting time again!

Today I have for you a little notepad.  I picked up a pack  of these 3x5  notepads at Office Max.  I created the base of the cover with a 10 3/8" x 3" piece of cardstock, then added lots of fun patterns from October Afternoon.   To complete the project I added sweet Little Lili.  You can find Lili's Ice Crem in the Inky Impressions store!

Thanks for visiting me today!

Lollipops Friends Forever

Woohoo! Its Friday! I hope to spend all day in my Craft Room if possible!! I have a card for you this morning that I created for the 2nd by LORI Designs challenge :) Its another color challenge and a fun one.

I pulled out some of the original Lollipops that I bought: Ethan and Gracie. They are available in Lori's store HERE. The only patterned paper that I used for this one was a background brown polka dot piece by October Afternoon. I went back to cardstock basics to get my colors into the scheme! If you want to play along, Here's the color combo:

For the frame I cut it with my Spellbinders polka dot frame then airbrushed through it with E59 onto Sahara Sand cardstock. I cut the frame again out of Pomegranate Bazzill and put that piece in the middle. Ethan and Gracie are colored with my copics, the colors are pictured at the end of the post.

The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio, punched with some circle punches then I added a button and some Divine Twine to the top.

  • Supplies:
  • Stamps: Ethan Lollipop & Gracie Lollipop (by LORI designs); sentiment (Pink Cat Studio)
  • Paper: Pomegranate & Buttercup (Bazzill); Sahara Sand (SU!); white (Neenah); Fly a Kite pp (October Afternoon)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Accessories: Polka Dot Frame (Spellbinders); punches (SU!); ribbon (Michael's); button (Basic Grey); Divine Twine; Copic Markers

Challenge List:
Stamp Something: Cute Somethings
Simply Create: Use your punches
Beary Sweet Challenge: Friendship or Love

Well, that about sums it up, but check back later...I am in stamping mode today!!

"Our house...in the middle of the street..."

Another quickie for you today since I was sooooo lax last week.

This sweet little house from Lizzie Anne Designs is one of many in the cute set "Welcome Home". I made this card a week or so ago just cause I was in the mood for some sunny bright colors after so many fall and holiday cards. The papers are from the Fly a Kit line by October Afternoon.

Hope you have a wonderful sunny day! Mine is looking a bit rainy :(
