FRIENDSHIP DAY!
Friendship day was originally founded by Hallmark in 1919.
On this day people celebrate their friendship by sending
 each other cards.
As of April 2011 the United States officially recognized
 July 30th as International Friendship Day. 

Let's take a look at 
what I created for this celebration:

To top this off I created a cute little Chinese Take Out Box
filled with mints.
Yummy!!!! 
I so enjoyed creating this little project.

CSI Case File No. 41 & Once Upon A Sketch~October 2012-Hidden Journal View

Hi there.

Running a bit late today.

I wanted to share my case layout for

CSI Case File No. 41.
The journal is hidden behind the picture and
pocket.{see views below}

It was a true challenge and I was

able to crack the case.

 

 

I used the sketch from Once Upon A Sketch.

This layout will also be submitted for the October challenge.

I so loved it.

 

My take:

I loved working with the soft pastel colors. 

I used a double border punch on a soft grey & white background.

The journal is hidden behind

the ribbon pocket.

Here is the journal on a scroll w/tassel.

It reads about the picture:

4. Bright Dreamy Eyes

5. Adorable & Delicate

6. Just a Blessing

These are some of the embellishments used.

I am back today with another post.

 Yep that's right!

Thank God for blessing me with another year.

No plans just gonna sit here and scrap.
