Whiff of Joy and Little Claire's Challenge cards

Hi there and welcome to another sunny Sunday!

Oh wow... the weather's been so lovely the past weeks, though I have to say I wish it would rain some days so all the trees, plants and flowers get some water from our mother, Mother Nature :)

Today I'd like to show you 2 cards I made for some challenges.

First of all I got a card made with a cute Whiff of Joy image. I so love their images, specially the ones designed by Elisabeth Bell :)
About 2 weeks ago I discovered an online craftshop in the city I live in and surprise, surprise, they also have a real craftshop, so was very surprised about that one, specially as they carry Whiff of Joy images *huuuuuuuuuge smile here!* And as that shop is situated almost besides a hospital I drive by every day from work...whoowhoo... well.. you know what I mean ;)
So I bought this stamp with another WoJ one, some papers and some more little stuff. Didn't buy that much as they, to be honest, don't carry the things I really, really enjoy to play with, but who knows what the future will bring :)
I came across the WoJ challengeblog today and wanted to play along. And as it was way too hot this afternoon to enjoy the sun at my balcony, I decided to play along.

So here you have my first card:

And a detailphoto where you can see the bling on the butterflies:

This card is playing in the following challenges:
- Whiff of Joy: Sketch
- Scrapdelight: Inspired by photo (I was inspired by the colors and with all the things on the picture you can make something, and I think that when you dream, you can do anything you want!)

And right now it's time to show you a card I made with a stamp I bought last September at a stamping and scrapbooking show in London, UK!!
Never ever heard of this company, Little Claire's, before, but wow... they have some lovely stamps out there and I bought several of them in London, but.... never used them till now that is! :)
Wanted to play along with their last challenge, but for some reason I just forgot, but now it's time to take part.
Made it a Christmascard as I don't wanna hurry the last months of this year making them.

So here you have my card:

And here some detailphotos where you can see the glitter I put on the snow I also put on the card:

And what's a roof without any snow when it snowed??!! So here you have it:

This card is playing in the following challenges:
- Little Claire's: Sketch
- Jingle Belles: Spirit of Christmas past
- Crafty Hazelnut: Inspired by photo (see their blog, I was inspired by the stocking which are at the chimney, and SantaClaus who brings the presents through the chimney)
- Winter Wonderland: Christmas colors

Thank you very much for coming over!

Enjoy your evening and see you later! :)

MEGA Valentine's Blog Hop: Magnolia Style :)

Hi there and welcome to a MEGA Valentine's Blog Hop my friend Taylor has organized. OMG!! This sure is amazing!! We have loads of prizes to give away during the hop, so I'm sooooooo happy you're here to visit and hop along.

If it's correct, you've came here after visiting Amber's blog. If not, please start at the beginning, at Taylor's blog so you don't miss out on all the fun, but most importantly all the lovely projects the other hoppers have made :)

For this hop I've made a Magnolia home-decor wallhanging and I knew exactly what I wanted to make when I bought this last month. It only needed a couple of Magnolia stamps, some punches, some metallic letters (which I have for ages right now *lol*), flowers and glitter.

Anyways... here's my project:

Maar goed, hier is mijn project:

And some detailphotos:
En wat detailfoto's:

And here are some more details about the hop:

We've got loads of prizes as said before from different sponsors. Please leave a comment on all the bloghop participants, so you're in a chance to win. Some random comments will win prizes and wow... talking about prizes... here they are:

Finally something new :)

Hi there!

It's been over a week since I published something overhere.
I was on holiday in London for some days, preposted some posts, and after my little break I was so tired and busy cleaning up the stuff I bought, I haven't touched my craftsupplies yet.
Well... that's not completely true, but I just can't show you all the stuff yet... just wait and see :)

Anyways... yesterday I had a meeting with a yahoogroup. It was fun.
We had to make a nametag with theme "animals and flowers".
Going through my stamps, I just knew I wanted to use this this Penny Black stamp in combination with the Tildapapers.
Used some nesties, and something to make little holes in the paper.
Printed my name on the paper, made some grass with a MS punch and used some stickles as well.
I wanted to make it pink, as October is Pink Ribbon month, I also hung my tag on a Pink Ribbon keyholder.

Here it is...

It's not much to show you yet, but please be patient ;)
I will be back :)

Take care!

layouts

Have been "creative" for a few weeks right now and like to show you some more I made...
This time it's layout time.

First we have a layout of the London Eye... wowie.... wanna go back there as soon as possible! Love London so much!!

I'm not that satisfied about this one, but I set myself a challenge to only use blue for this layout (and white cardstock).
And that's where this little problem came.... I hardly have any blue paper! Came to the conclusion I mostly have the more natural colours and girly colours *lol*
I must admit I have some blue papers, but they are winterpapers...
This blue paper of KI Memories has been here for a few years and finally used it.

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: KI Memories; Ribbon: SU; Buttons: own stash; Cotton Cord: Rayher; Thread: own stash

Here's a layout I made with a weddingphoto I made during a photoshoot at a friend's wedding a few years back. I've learned so much that shoot and enjoyed myself very much.
Here's a detail with the flowers and bling-bling...

Here's the layout in totall (sorry, but blurred the bride's face for privacy...)

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Basic Grey; Flowers and bling-bling: Prima; Brads: own stash; Chipboard letters: American Crafts; Ink: Colorbox

Londen - Oxford Street

And another London-layout.
Made this photo during shopping in Oxford Street. Just loooooooooooooooove that street!!
Stood in the middle of the road at some stopsigns, that was cool!

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper and buttons: Making Memories; Letters: Quickutz; Scallop border punch: Stampin'Up; Cotton Cord: Rayher

Big Ben layout

Seeing all my Londonphotos I took last March, I want to go back a soon as possible!
29th March I was a tourist, walking around Westminister, taking loads of photos and here's a layout I made with some photos of Big Ben.

Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned paper: Gin-X; Cardboard letters: Scenic Route; Ribbon: own stash; Flowers: Prima; Brads: own stash

Made this layout during yesterday evening's online crop at Creating Memorys.
