CCWS Sketch #41

Hi there and welcome to another Christmas Challenges {with sketches}.

This time it was my turn to make the sketch and you can find it on the CCWS-blog.
But not only you have to use the sketch, we also have a little twist for you and that's to use at least 2 images and mask them together.

We're sponsored by Elphine House Australia and this is what I made:

Used this paper a lot and still have some left :)
Just love  the Christmascolors a lot.

Anyways.... Thanks so much for coming over and hope to see you again later on.
Please check out the CCWS-blog for more information on this challenge, the sketch and the projects the other team-members have made. Thanks!

See you around later on.

BasicGrey Challenges: Fave colorcombo

Hi there and welcome to my blog :)

Today is the start of a new BasicGrey Challenge... Fave colorcombo.
It sure won't be a surprise what my fave colorcombo will be, but I really was doubting as I like pink and white, red and white, etc. a lot, but I just knew I had to use green and red :)
Red has always been my fave color since I was little and I just loooooooove green as well (just open my closet and you'll find loads of green and red clothes).

So I made a Christmascard for you with my fave colorcombo: Red & Green.
Used a LOTV stamped image. Oh, I just so love those images!

Thanks so much for coming over. Hope to see you later on.
In the meantime... visit the BasicGrey Challengesblog for more fave colorcombo's of the DT. They made some awesome projects as always :)

Basic Grey challenges: Mother's Day/Girlie

Good morning!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It's Saturday and it's been 2 weeks since the last Basic Grey challenge, so it's time for a new one and it's called "Mother's Day/Girlie".
I choose for the Girlie theme, but the image is also ok for a Mother's Day card ;)

Ohhhhhhhh... I bought this stamp in London last year and never inked it up, so it was time to do so and here's the result :)

I used the "Hello Luscious" 6x6 BasicGrey paperpad, perfect for girlie cards :)

Thanks for visiting me, hope to see you again later.
Please go to the BasicGrey challengesblog to see the creations the other DT-members made AND to participate yourself ;)

Magnolia Soccer Edwin - Birthday Card

Hi there!

I wanted to share a Magnolia Edwin card today. I don't use the Edwin stamps a lot, so it was time to set them in the spotlight ;)

Made this card for some challenges and when I found out the Magnolia Down Under challenge was to use the colors of your national flag, it was quite obvious to use Soccer Edwin as well as The Netherlands are very fanatic soccerplayers (and I really wish all those streets weren't colored orange during European and World Championships... terrible!).
So here you have it... Soccer Edwin in the national colors of The Netherlands: red, white and blue.

Hi!
Dus hier is ie... Soccer Edwin in de Nederlandse kleuren: rood, wit en blauw.

Thanks very much for coming over. Hope to see you again! :)
Bedankt voor het langskomen en graag tot een volgende keer! :)

Challenges:
- Magnolia Cards: Birthday/Verjaardag
- Magnolia Stamp Lovers: Sport
- Magnolia Down Under: Colors of the national flag

Happy 90th Birthday! Magnolia stamp card

Hi there and happy 90th Birthday Grandma! :)

Oh yeah... it's a special day overhere and we celebrated in style with loads of family, friends and other people. It was just great!

As I think 90 roses are wasting too much space (are gone within a couple of days/weeks and are very, very expensive, even though I love my grandma a lot), I made this card and told her it was me giving those roses and she had to imagine it were 90 real ones :)

Anyways... here's my card. Just love the LOTV sentiment I bought in London last September. I really enjoyed creating it a lot and had a lot of compliments today from people, but the best part was my grandma liking it :)

So here you have it...

And a detailphoto:

Thanks for coming over and see you later! :)

This card will play in the following challenges:
-
Simply Magnolia: Anything goes
- Simon Says Stamp: Photo inspiration
- Stamptacular Sunday: Punch it!
- Card Caravan Challenge: Birthday themed

Basic Grey Challenge: Mix & Match Lily of the Valley card

Hi there and welcome! :)

Oh boy... busy, busy, busy, headaches, headaches and more headaches... not a day without them :(
Ok, I will stop now, as there are a lot more worse things in the world.

Anyways... welcome to another Basic Grey challenge!!
This time we're mixing things up and wow... it sure was a challenge for me, but when I looked through my stash of 6x6 paperpads, it kinda was quite easy. Just combined the background paper from the Oliver collection and the patterned papers from the Jovial collection.
And this is the way it turned out...

And a detailphoto...

Even though I totally am a cat-person, I think this Lily of the Valley dog is quite cute and love it as well :)
Bought that image last year in London and the sentiment stamp is also from Lily of the Valley and bought it last time in London (loved being there!) at a stamp and scrapbooking fair and they both finally saw some ink :)

So... now it's your turn to get those Basic Grey papers out of your closets and get mixing and matching them together to find awesome combinations.

Please join us at the challengeblog. And while you're there, please visit the other DT-members as well... great projects!

Thanks very much for coming over and hope to see you next time :)

This card will also play in the following challenges:
- Christmas cards: sketch
- Lily of the Valley: Creature comforts
- Christmas Stampin': Never seen ink
- Crimbo Crackers: Make it sparkle
- Fun with shapes and more: Make 3
- Floweretstämplar: Christmas

BasicGrey challenge: A sketch

Hi there!

It's time for another challenge at the BasicGrey Challenges blog. This time Heather made a sketch for us to follow. I turned it.
I wanted to make a Christmascard as it's "just" around the corner, only 5 more months before the tree will be here in my house with all the decorations as well. But this also means it's time to send the cards, so I'm making them all year round.
This card is made with the BasicGrey Jovial 6x6 paperpad. Oh... I just looooooooove those papers, those colors are my true Christmasfeeling: Red (which is my fave one in general as well) and Green. Giving me the "old fashioned" Christmasfeeling.

Anyways... here's the card:

DWYT Sketch #77

Hi there!

It's Thursday, 0:00 CET, so time for another DWYT sketch!
This week's sketch is made by Christien. Really loved working with this one. Also used colors I normally don't use that often, specially orange isn't one I like a lot, but think it's festive, so suits this image just perfect :)

Here's the card I created, with a stamp of LOTV I recently bought from someone else. I looooooooove LOTV images :)

And a detailphoto of the image:

I also colored the flowers on the right side of the card. They were white at first, but with a little help of my copics... voila.... orange ones! :)

This is it. Don't forget to hop over to the DWYT-blog for more inspiration from the team. And I'd love you to play with this sketch as well, so I can visit you :)

Thanks for visiting! See you later! :)
