Cherry Blossoms of Blessings

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 602 - Sweet Smoky Razzleberries and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 467.
I have not been able to play for quite some time now due to torn rotator cuff then repair and the week after my surgery MIL 81 yr old fell and broke her neck in 3 places after 2 surgeries pneumonia set in and she past away after about 1 month from her fall. It has just been one thing after another in this household but today I was determined I was making something even if it failed I was going to try. Finally made it upstairs and this was the end result. I had to use regal rose substitute since I have decided I have more CS than I could ever use and am running out of storage space I opted out of this years in-colors and got as close as I could to sweet sugarplum.
For the inside I kept is really simple and only stamped the sentiment.

Stamps: Trust God
Paper: Smoky slate, Rich Razzleberry, Regal Rose, Choc Chip, BG Green at Heart DP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry

Come To Bethlehem Feeling the Night Breeze

This is for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 560 - Feeling the Night Breeze and gold for dessert. I was not exactly overly thrilled with my card for Tuesday and had this in mind after seeing Maura (aka beesmom)'s gorgeous creation and commenting that I saved it to favs for CASing rights. I CASEd her Silent Night card. I changed the orientation and used a scene rather than trees.
I stamped my image in night of navy then sponged above using a mask to simulate a snowbank, I used a small circle for the moon and sponged some baja breeze around the circle and then inked just the star and stamped it in the clear white area. I added stickles for bling. I dropped down and sponged with some baja breeze using a different mask. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment in night of navy on the front and envelope and the other sentiment on the inside in NON.
I stamped the image over the sentiment in baja breeze after stamping off once.  I took my daughter's advice and added some dimension to the navy background and I tied some gold cording and matted that on NON then on white cs base. I like this one much better and hope you do to. This is what happens at 1am when I can not sleep. I stamp. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Come to Bethlehem
Paper: white, night of navy
Ink: Baja Breeze, Night of Navy
Accessories: stickles, cord cording, white jel pen

Woof You Light to Dark Critter

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 417 - A Certain Bashful Delight with a dessert option of adding a critter. Well my DH came home last week with a 2in high and 3 in long jet black lab pup that tried to run out under his truck and last year he ran over a little puppy unavoidably with cars in front on the side and behind him so that he could not avoid it without recking. He felt sooo bad about it and brudded for several days. He said he "could not let that happen to this little guy" even though he had said without reservation years ago "NO MORE DOGS". We had a dog I got form the kennel and was sweet and well behaved for 3 yrs until he got struck by lightning (or at least that is what I think happened). He started going crazy anytime the weather got bad.
So this is going to be my dh's anniversary card for the 20th of this month. LOL.
I used Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 420 - Light to Dark for my coloring using copics C0, 1, 2, 3, 5, & 7.
My layout is from Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 211 - Sketch. I sponged the certainly celery bottom section then added some flicks with my marker for grass, I sponged the son with daffodil delight using reverse masking and the sky with bashful blue using the punched out circle as a mask. I filled the sun in with yellow Stickles for some sparkle.
My images and sentiment are from a Sweet-N-Sassy clear stamp set called "Woof You" and were all stamped in momento tuxedo black ink.
Hope you like it and I hope my DH does also.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Woof You - SNS
Paper: whtie, certainly celery, bashful blue, daffodil delight
Ink: momento tuxedo black, certainly celery, bashful blue, daffodil delight
Accessories: circle punch, sponges, yellow stickles
