This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 568 - Saffron Gray Sky and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 571 - Naked Stamping.
I sponged so saffron using Tim Holtz Sunrays stencil in the upper right corner then sponged soft sky in between the rays and the rest of the front. I stamped the sentiment and image in smoke slate. I had to use my smoke slate marker to color some white ribbon. This is matted on soft sky then white card base. I did stamp on the inside but something happened to my pic and short of time no time to go back upstairs and retake it.
So here is the inside. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Love & Sympathy
Paper: white, soft sky
Ink: so saffron, soft sky, smoke slate
Accessories: Tim Holtz Sunrays Stencil, sponges, ribbon, gem
Techniques: sponging, stenciling

A Celebration of Love and Sympathy
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 511 - Old Cake Whisperer, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 514 - The Ones Have It, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 305 - Welcome the New Year. As odd as it may seem including a sympathy card in on a Celebration challenge it is with joy that one of our Choir members is saying goodbye to her 100 year old Aunt who was so dear to her heart. To have lived an entire Century is a celebration in itself but to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father is truly a celebration.
I stamped the image then trimed around it so that the sentiment would be visible then stamped the sentiments all in old olive ink. I tied some ribbon in as close as possible to crumb cake color and was finished. I hope she will love this sympathy card created just for her.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Love and Sympathy
Paper: White
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Ribbon
Techniques: The One's Have It, Fussy Edges

I used a Stampin Up set called Love & Sympathy, I used SU Markers to ink the stems in old olive and pear pizzazz then the flower in daffodil delight, huffed and stamped on white. I embossed the focal panel with Sizzix Square Lattice EF and matted this on Pear Pizzazz cs.
Hope you like it and now I am off to work.

Colors of Sunset with Love and Sympathy
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 427 - Make Your Own Chevrons these are easy peasy, I used the tutorial from SCS for CHEVRON STRIPS provided.
I used last weeks COLOR CHALLENGE # 423 - Quite A River Breeze for my color combo to go with today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 218 - Inspired Quote because the baja breeze is like the blue sky and the Not Quite Navy is the deepest sky color after a sunset. My layout is from last Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 432.
I used the same stamp set, dp, punches and design for the focal panel as I never have enough masculine sympathy cards.
Hope you like it, now off to work I go.
