I don't always get to play but when I do I love to pile it up. LOL. Sorry just made me think of that dumb commercial about some brad of liquor. Anyway this is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 620 - Twine Inlay and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 411 - Hot Beverage which have been enjoyed this weekend with these below freezing temps we are having. I live in the deep south portion of GA why am I freezing? LOL So I think it is all self explanatory but I did use a heart border punch for the small hearts I needed.
I also used all the cut out pieces to help with the inside and envelope decorations. Hope you like it.

Cherry Blossoms of Blessings

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 602 - Sweet Smoky Razzleberries and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 467.
I have not been able to play for quite some time now due to torn rotator cuff then repair and the week after my surgery MIL 81 yr old fell and broke her neck in 3 places after 2 surgeries pneumonia set in and she past away after about 1 month from her fall. It has just been one thing after another in this household but today I was determined I was making something even if it failed I was going to try. Finally made it upstairs and this was the end result. I had to use regal rose substitute since I have decided I have more CS than I could ever use and am running out of storage space I opted out of this years in-colors and got as close as I could to sweet sugarplum.
For the inside I kept is really simple and only stamped the sentiment.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Trust God
Paper: Smoky slate, Rich Razzleberry, Regal Rose, Choc Chip, BG Green at Heart DP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: ribbon, spellbinders cherry blossom, spellbinder label 9

Jessie's Birthday Card

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 579 - I Lost my Honey in a Gray Lagoon, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 373 - It's About Birthdays and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 444.
My darling hubby will be celebrating a birthday in August and as I put this together it just screamed for him so I went on and wrote his name on the envelope so I wouldn't change my mind later. LOL.
I used some dp from MME - Home stack for the 3 panels and unusual for me I used the basic gray cs for my card base. I usually use either white or vanilla since they are in more abundance and easier to restock.
I used white on the inside so I could stamp the sentiment and stamped in lost lagoon the Birthday Innies sentiment from sweet-n-sassy stamps.  I love this sentiment and can not believe it is the first time I have used it.  On the envelope I used the balloon stamp from Favorite Teddy Stampin Up set in hello honey ink.
I lost my SU demonstrator and have to find a new one. I also thought I had lost my mojo since a month had past and I just could NOT get inspired by the challenges. Still not sure I ever had any mojo but gave it a shot today anyway. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Favorite Teddy, Birthday Innies, SNS,
Paper: White, basic gray, My Minds Eye - Home, hello honey, lost lagoon
Ink: hello honey, lost lagoon
Accessories: HB Die - Impression Obsession

Happy Birthday with Aspen Trees

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 564 - I Have a crush on pacific sand. For Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 567 - Other than a stamp I sponged some pacific point on white using TCW Aspen Tree Stencil then matted on pacific point cs. For Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 358 - Are you HAPPY? I cut the HB die from memory box using cucumber crush cs and glued it to the pacific point circle then popped it up on dimensionals. My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 429.
The only stamping done here was on the inside using a set of birthday quotes I picked up at JoAnne's last year in pacific point and on the envelope. I also am going to extend my resolution this year to stamping on the back of the card with my signature stamp. I did this today. YAH! I love picking up a card to give and it is completely finished except for signing a name on the inside. This card was so fun to make and I hope whomever I pass it on to enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it.

This is also for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 355 - Trim the Tree.  Well the tree is trimmed and the ornaments are hung. It will soon be time to take them all down again but for now this is what I came up with today.
I stamped the greeting on the front in cherry cobbler and  I stamped the branches in wild wasabi as well as the sentiment on the inside and envelope. Hope you like it. I am so miffed because I am finished labeling all my cards and have a stamp set I bought just for this holiday and have not even had an opportunity to ink it up.
