Anchor the Soul with Circles
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 523 - Scene in a Circle, today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 314 - Birds, last Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 519 - Blackberries and Pears Poolside.
I decided to create a circle window card today. I love how this turned out. If I had my dream home it would be a beachfront home. I love the ocean and could not resist this stamp set when I saw it.
I used the smaller circle as a mask to sponge some pool party ink on the inside of the card then I stamped the image in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with copics.
I punched the smaller circle in blackberry bliss then the larger scalloped punch to frame the front side of the card. I stamped the sentiments inside and out in blackberry bliss. I just love the colors from last week and had to use them again.
I think I will give this to my darling hubby who keeps me anchored with his love.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Anchor the Soul - ODB
Paper: White, Blackberry Bliss
Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: dimensionals, copics, Mega circle punch, Giga scallop circle punch, sponges,
Techniques: 3D, Circles Open Window, Dies, copic coloring, sponging, masking, reverse masking

Colors of Sunset with Love and Sympathy
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 427 - Make Your Own Chevrons these are easy peasy, I used the tutorial from SCS for CHEVRON STRIPS provided.
I used last weeks COLOR CHALLENGE # 423 - Quite A River Breeze for my color combo to go with today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 218 - Inspired Quote because the baja breeze is like the blue sky and the Not Quite Navy is the deepest sky color after a sunset. My layout is from last Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 432.
I used the same stamp set, dp, punches and design for the focal panel as I never have enough masculine sympathy cards.
Hope you like it, now off to work I go.

Flip Flop Gift Card Holder Sew What?
This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 425 - Flip Flop Card and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 216 - Pinterest Inspiration Challenge. I loved all of those buttons and could not resist creating my own button using the DP from my Flip Flop gift card holder. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to give a gift card and this is one of them. Thanks for the tutorial too since I am a visual rather than a reader. I used bakers twine threaded through the botton that is popped up on dimensionals for closing the used my crop-a-dile to make holes on the side to tie the bow and complete the closing. My card stock is some WAY BACK retired Mauve Mist I bought from a retired SU demo way back. I use it every chance I get so hopefully they will bring it back one day. LOL. Such a pretty color. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Sew What - MFP
Paper: Mauve Mist, TPS Persnickety
Ink: Glorious Green
Accessories: dimensionals ,bakers twine, crop-a-dile, Maurvy Giga Scallop Circle Punch

Suprise Pop Up Mother's Day Flight of the Butterfly
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 421 - Black Coral Breeze and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 424 - I Like to Move it Move it. I chose to do a surprise pop up Mother's Day card using SCS tutorial found HERE.
My dp is from My Minds Eye - Home and I used stampin up's Flight of the Butterfly along with All Year Cheer II for my stamp sets. I stamped the outline of the butterfly in black and the design in Calypso Coral as well as the HMD sentiment, on the pull out I stamped a sentiment in baja breeze. My MIL is always so complimentary and appreciative of my homemade cards to her so I always try to make some special for her. I hope she likes it.
Sorry I was MIA last week but in Atlanta for training and no stamps, inks or dp with me, EEEKK!! I had to get to work early Monday to play catch from all week last week and did not have time to do the TLC until today. Am I forgiven? I hope so.
Have a great Tuesday and hope to see ya tomorrow.
RECIPE:
Stamps: AYC II, Flight of the Butterfly
Paper: white, baja breeze, calypso coral, MME Home dp
Ink: basic black, calypso coral, baja breeze
Accessories: circle punch, scallop circle punch, stickles
Techniques: surprise pop up card

Serene Silhouettes Because I Care
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 415 - More Old Muse; Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 418 - Circles; Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 209 - Featured CAS Player (simplybeautifu) which is just what her gallery is full of; and Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 282.
I finally found enough energy to make it upstairs to stamp today, I am on sick day 2 from work for the 1st time in over 3 years and ready for this crudd to be gone.
I chose to CASE this LONG STEM SILHOUETTE from simplybeautifuls gallery and hope I did it justice but if not keep in mind I am still full of Nyquil that stuffy, sneezy, coughing, wheezing, get out of your craft room cold medicine. LOL.
I used a French Script background stamp from Stampedous stamped in more mustard with the Nestie in place then stamped the silhouette image in midnight muse on top of it. I used some midnight muse ribbon and old olive cs then popped up my sentiment from Because I care stamped in midnight muse and matted on midnight muse. My focal panel, sentiment panel and care base are vanilla cs. I cut the base & focal panel with Large Circle Nesties cutting the base just above the top circle so it would hold together. I cut the matt for the focal panel using GRand Nesties Scalloped circles and the matt for the sentiment with SU Scallop circle punch.
Hope you like it.
RECIPE: Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Because I Care - SU; French Script - Stampendous
Paper: vanilla, old olive, midnight muse
Ink: more mustard, midnight muse
Accessories: ribbon, dimensionals, scallop circle punch, circle punch, Grand Nestie Scallop Circle, Nestie Large Circles
Techniques: Circles, Inside the Nestie
Labels:

circles,
Grand Nestability,
