WOJ Willow with Sun Hat CASEing

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 156 - Butterfly Ears (aka Nicole). I chose to CASE her PB BASHFUL card. I changed the position of the ribbon and threaded mine though a button, left off the primas, and changed the colors. I used a little girl image but mine is a Whiff Of Joy Image called Willow with Sun hat and it came from TREEHOUSE STAMPS. My dp, ribbon and button also came from Treehouse Stamps. The dp is called Painted Stripes. My image and color selection were chosen using Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE # 217 - Espe. I just love the colors and the daisies on this darling HANDBAG. I used my prismacolor pencils and gamsol blending medium for the 1st time in a long time. I used my SU markers to color the small daisies. My focal image and matt were trimmed & embossed with Nesties Long Rectangle.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Willow with Sun Hat - WOJ - Treehouse Stamps
Paper: pink, purple, white, Painted Stripes - Imaginisce
Ink: graphite black, pretty in pink, lavendar lace
Accessories: ribbon, button, prismacolor pencils, gamsol blending medium, glue dots
Techniques: Gamsol Magic

Paper Pierced Angel Hugging Heart

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Time. I was in a hurry when I made this card and it took me 10 min from start to finish. That is a record for me. I used a simple layout and copics to color. I hope Julia does not have the challenge police arrest me this week. That would be a terrible way to start the new year. This is also for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE - Paper Piercing. This week Ashley has challenged us to pierce somewhere on our projects. I did mine in the lower right and left corners of my main panel. I got this image from Ashley in my Christmas package and could not wait to ink it up. Thanks Ashley. I stamped this darling angel from Whiff Of Joy in graphite black then colored with copics. I used my spica glitter pen to trace around the flourishes and added some stickles to the wings for Wednesday's CRAFT CREATIONS CHALLENGE - Make The New Year Glitter. I applied some glue and then some cotton around the angel bc she is in the clouds waiting to bring that sweet someone something sweet. aaahhh to be a dreamer. My sketch was designed by my very own cyber friend and CHA companion Lori and it is Saturday's PAPER CRAFT PLANET SKETCH December 26, 2009. Lori and I share a love for the simple layouts so I absolutely love this one. My dp is from Basic Grey -Indian Summer. Image, paper and DP used for this creation can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMPS. Hope you like it. Now come on play along with us this week by poking some holes. Make sure to include THT030 in your uploads so we can see what you made.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Angel Hugging Heart

THT028 Willow with her Sunhat

Welcome friends to our Treehouse Thursday Challenge #028. Today's challenge is a color challenge of any theme:

  • Choc Chip, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink

When you upload your card to SCS, PCP, and your blog make sure and use the keyword THT028. We hope you can come play along with us this week.

Well Santa came early to my mailbox last week and left a bag full of goodies. This image, flower and button were included in my bag of goodies. Thank you so much for the Christmas gifts Ashley. There is more to being on a DT than getting to play with new sets before anyone else, there is a bond of friendship that is formed or at least with our group there is. I love Treehouse Stamps and the DT. This darling image can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMPS - Whiff Of Joy section. It was stamped in espresso ink then colored with Copics also found at THS. I doodled around the card frame and the focal image panel with SU choc chip and pretty in pink markers. This little girl is just too precious and will be a birthday card for one of my 4 granddaughters for next year. Now visit the rest of the DT to see what they have created for your viewing pleasure.

THT002 + CAS19 Willow Kneeling

Here is my card for today's TreeHouse Thursday's color challenge using Choc Chip, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Pacific Point and White. I stamped my Kneeling Willow which I recently received from an order with THS in sadle brown then colored with Copic markers. My layout is from this weeks CAS sketch which I just absolutley love. I paper pierced 2 of the corners and matted on pacific point. My card base is a 4X4 tangerine tango with a layer of white on the inside. I will probably use this for one of those "Thinking of you" times. This image is a Whiff Of Joy image but can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMP COMPANY where I got mine. I just think she is adorable. A little harder to color than I expected but maybe I did OK
RECIPE:

Inspired Chocholate Girl

We are off on a road trip to who knows where. I will have to make up on comments when we return but for now this is for today's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Skeem. I found my inspiration from this White Tea & Thyme. I also used Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Framed by my Welcome sign. For my layout I used Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE and for my color combo I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Bordering Saffron Pirouette. My Framed Welcome sign is stamped with black stazon and on metal for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Metal Stamping. I just got some new rubbah from Whiff of Joy and could not wait to get it dirty. I stamped the Chocholate Girl from TREEHOUSE STAMPS in Esspresso 1 time on a post it note and once on white cs. I cut out the post it page to use as a mask. After placing my mask I stamped the Willow's Armchair in Esspresso then colored these with copics and popped it up on my focal layer. I drew the flooring then colored with copics. For my wallpaper I did something I have never tried before, chaulkboarding, after receiving THIS BEAUTY from Shannon for our anniversary. I just love that effect so much it may be my new obsession. I stamped the large image from Baroque in white craft on so saffron then covered that with bordering blue chaulk. I love how it turned out. Hope you do too.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Fancy Flexible Phrases & Noteworthy - SU Chocholate Girl & Willow's Armchair - Whiff Of Joy
Paper: So Saffron, Bordering Blue, Pink Pirouette, White
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Black Stazon
Accessories: Poppin Pastel, copics, dimensionals
Techniques: Masking, Chaulkboarding, Sponging
