Somtimes it's all about the shoes

FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 288 - Add Something gold, Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 546 - Make it Metal, Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 555, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 545 - Metallic Gold meets Very Vanilla, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 339 - Tag It. We have a couple of co-workers getting married soon and so today I made another wedding card. I used my Argyle embossing folder today and created some tags and colored them gold with my metal gold paint pen. I stamped one with a sentiment from All Holidays and the other I added a gold vintage shoe. These are both popped up on dimensionals. I had to free hand my sentiment on the front. I have seen something similar in a sentiment but not sure who made it.
I used the same sentiment today on the inside and stamped the envelope with the same ink color. Hope you like it.
This is for today's

Golden congratulations on your special day

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 546 - Make It Metal and Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 555. I was at work when the SC was finally loaded so I didn't get to play but I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw it. This card has been in my head since then and today it came to life. I dry embossed the top panel of vanilla with Textile EF, the bottom panel was stamped in versamark then metallic gold EP applied and heat embossed. The inside was stamped in delightful Dijon. The vanilla card base was matted with metallic gold dp. I found some gold wedding rings and tied them together with some gold ribbon.
The inside sentiment from Trust God was stamped using delightful dijon.  The bride and groom on the envelope were cut from the gold dp. I LOVE how this turned out and hope you do too.

Short & Sweet Flip Flip Wedding Wishes

OK so I had everything typed and ready to SUBMIT yesterday when the power went off. Needing to get onto work I had to just give up on loading what I had worked on for the days challenge. Now this morning the sketch is not up yet so I decided to load yesterdays efforts anyway so this is for Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 422 - Elegant Mambo on the River
My layout is from Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 425 - Flip Flop Card and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 216 - Pinterest Inspiration.
The wedding cake I used is a stamp I got eons ago from the dollar bin at Michaels. I stamped the sentiment from Short and Sweet in elegant eggplant even though it looks black. I colored the cake with copic markers then added some stickles. I loved the flowers in this Paper Studio dp and the centers looked like 4 hole buttons so I used my quickutz button die and some elegant eggplant cs and went with it. I used my Martha Stewart Button punch and a hole puncher to make my closure along with some melon colored baker's twine and viola, it was done. Now off to work I go,

RECIPE:
Stamps: Short & Sweet, Unknown Cake imag
Paper: white, River Rock, TPS Persnickety
Ink: momento tuxedo black, elegant eggplant
Accessories: copics, MS Button, Quickutz Button, baker's twine

Embossed Happy Anniversary

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 411 - Best of 2012. I choose TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE 398 - Try A Little Dimension for this card. I also included today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 202 - Postage or Faux Postage. I have been MIA for a couple of weeks so I also added the last color challenge from last year COLOR CHALLENGE # 407 - Silver, Gold, and White.
I have had this embossed image since I bought my Cuttlebug eons ago and never used it. I embossed the image in white and gold then cut the ribbon and bells out to attach to the white layer for dimension. I cut and embossed the white and gold layer using Nestabilities Postage Die and popped the white panel up on dimensionals. I matted that on silver. My card base is 4x4 white.

I found my inspiration from this BRIDAL BARBIE and this PEPPERMINT OBSESSION combined to make this one. I used some riding hood red cs and my fiskars heart border punch. I colored with copics, cut it out and popped it up.
My layout is from today's CLUB ANYA & FRIENDS SATURDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE. Hope you like it. My hubby is taking me on a date today for dinner and a movie. Ohh I can't wait.

Dirty Cheers To You

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 181 - Ravengirl. What a lovely CAS gallery she has too. I decided on CASEing her BABY FLOYD card. I love the double embossing technique and have tried it a couple of times so I thought I would give it another try. This was TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 245. Maybe one day I will get it right :-( Anyway I changed the theme, the colors, left off the brads and added another embossed layer. I love the color of guava/peach since it was the color I used in my wedding.
I used swiss dots and textile cuttlebug embossing folders and Stampin Up's Cheers To You stamp set.
This is also for a few of the DARE TO GET DIRTY 10 CHALLENGES that the fan club members have been fortunate to get to play along with this past week presented by CINDY_HAFFNER, RSALAMON, AMBERDAWN, & CRAFTYCARO. I will NOT be able to do all 33 of them but have had a super time getting to do some of them.

Wedding Daisies

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 280 - Paper Posies. This is also for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 74 - Celebrating Carries Cakes. Oh man those wedding cakes are just gorgeous. So when I saw these 2 challenges I knew I had to CASE another one of Charlene's CAS beauties that I had in my list of "which one to use" from Sunday's FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE # 179 - cookiebaker. There were many who used this WONDERFUL FRIEND and now I am added to that list. LOL. When I first saw it Sunday I knew if I used that card I would make a wedding card. It took me longer to make it up to my crafty cave then it did to make this. I used some textured white cs for my 4x4 base. I embossed some white cs with cuttlebugs swiss dots. I cut and embossed Labels 3 using white cs. Secured some sheer white with delicate design and gold trimmed ribbon around the swiss dots and labels 3 layers. I used a gold heart brad to secure 5 layers of white daisies that I did not punch but someone did punch out of rough textured paper of some kind and secrured it to the labels 3 layer. The labels 3 layer is popped up on dimensionals. Inside is "BEST WISHES" embossed in gold ep and I was done. I love how it turned out and I hope you do to.
Paper: white, white textured
Accessories: gold heart brad, ribbon, dimensionals, gold embossing powder
Techniques: dry and heat embossed

Cuttlebug Wedding

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - One layer and White. Man talk about challenges. This certainly was one for me and if you notice it is a single challenge too. I was going to use Monday's cuttlebug challenge until I read it again to find out it was to make an anniversary card (insert pout here). Oh well. It is what it is today. I had a really hard time trying to emboss this image in the middle of this 4x5.5 card. I tried each side along with the embossing mat and my brayer, NOPE so I finally allowed for a slight fold hoping I could smooth the crease out. I used my new EK Success border punch. I also used my scor-pal to frame the embossed image. I stamped the design and sentiment in black, tied a ribbon and was done. Hope you like it.
RECIPE: Stamps: Fancy Flexible Phrases
Paper: whtie
Ink: black
Accessories: cuttlebug, score pal, ribbon

I just got this adorable set from The Greeting Farm last week and could not wait to use it. I just think this is just the nost adorable image. I stamped the images in white with black brilliance and colored with copics, cut them out and adhered them to the cuttlebug panels. The dress, flowers, and wedding bells are covered with stickles. The sentiment is matted on cameo coral. I know sometime soon someone I know will be getting married. I hope! LOL.

Black Marbled Wedding

Well I am home today sick again. As hard as I have tried to not claim it I think I am giving in to allergies or something. Today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Border Crossing, Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Black, Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Real Black Olives, and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Marbles. I used the flower image from Noteworthy on my old olive layer all around the edges even though it is hard to see covered up. I used some red and black polka dot ribbon and silver wedding rings for imbellishments. I am headed back to the couch but I hope everyone has a great day and weekend. Think I am taking the WE off so I can get well.

Wedding Day Bliss

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Stuck On You and for my layout I went with Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE again. I went rummaging through my folders of stickers -which I seldom use, so thanks for today's challenge, and found this pack of Wedding Embellishments from Keepsake I picked up yrs ago at Dollar General and went from there. I cut my 5 strips of vanilla then ran them through the cuttlebug Textile folder. I found some textured copper cs from a metallic paper pack I had and used it as my matt for the base and the focal image. I was trying to match the colored flowers on the cake as best I could and creamy caramel won. The focal image is up on dimensionals. See my blog for a pic of the inside where I placed the boquette sticker. These are just gorgeous and I left off ribbon to avoid taking away from the stickers. My only stamp on this is from my brand new All Holidays set I just got from SU. Have a great Thursday, now I have to head to work so I can buy more stickers and stuff :0. LOL.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Holidays
Paper: Close To Cocoa, Making Memories Metallic CS, Vanilla,

For The Sweet Bride Gift Card Holder

Man did I have a hard time with today's colors. I needed a wedding gift card holder for a co-worker so this is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Going Really Vanilla and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Pop Up Gift Card Holder. I had picked up this yummy dp at Michaels on a recent shopping trip and it matches going gray so well I decided to try it for today, well the lines in the dp are white. So I tried using my Vanilla Craft Ink pad again and again CAN NOT get that vanilla to show. I ended up having to use some white detail EP to emboss it with. So my vanilla is now my ribbon. My image is from Sweetly Stamped from H & M STAMP COMPANY. Wouldn't you know it I head downstairs to take my pics and smear the not yet dried stickles. gggrrrr. I need to just go to work and try this again some other day. LOL. On the inside I stamped crosshatch bg with going gray on gong gray card base. Then the senimtent from Fancy Flex Phrases (whew what a mouthful that title is!) the same way and matted it on really rust circle scallop.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Fancy Flexible Phrases - SU, Sweetly Stamped, Just Married, HMStampCo
Paper: Going Gray, DP, Really Rust

Together Forever CASE

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER - sf9erfan (aka Michelle). She has a wonderful gallery, go check it out. I chose her SC161 To Have and To Hold to CASE. I changed the sketch and used WEEKEND SKETCH CHALLENGE because Michelle's card was for a SC (It helps to read everything, I did not know I needed to change a layout if I was CASEing a SC card until dd told me last week :0, thanks Shannon), I also changed the colors to fit this weeks COLOR CHALLENGE. I bought this wedding cake a couple of years ago at the Dollar Store, sometimes they have some really kewl stamps. The image was stamped in Timber Brown stazon then the flowers were colored using my SU markers. Image was matted on Choc Chip. I applied stickles to the loopy part of the cake layers. The sentiment was stamped in Choc Chip on Certainly Celery and ribbon tied on the end. The Pretty in Pink layer is SU pallet of Prints sheet matted on choc chip card base.
RECIPE;
Stamps:
Together Forever, Dollar Store Wedding Cake
Paper: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Choc Chip, White
