Triangled Happy Birthday box

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 524 - So many Cantaloupes and Strawberries, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENG E# 318 - ABC - Spring Colors. Well nothing shines in our yard and the yards around us this time of year any brighter than all of the Azalea bushes. I love seeing them glowing. Monday's CAS challenge was to make anything but a card in spring colors. I made the box from strawberry slush cs then wrapped some so saffron ribbon around and attached a piece of dp on the front. I cut the HB sentiment from Impressions Obsessions die in crisp cantaloupe cs and attached it across the front. This box was quick and simple and will make a great gift box for a gift card or a box of earrings for an upcoming granddaughter or niece. So many possibilities. Thanks for the fun challenges. Hope you like what I made. See everyone next Wednesday.

I used the largest hole punch on my cop-a-dile with lucky lemonade cs to make the front button and calypso coral ribbon for the handle.

Christmas Wrap with Treat Holder

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 348 - Krafty Cajun Turquoise.
I used Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 143 - Sketch Inspired by stagccva aka Taylor for my layout and and played along again with Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 350 - No Stamping. I have had nightmares since reading Joan's challenge. That line about "what would happen if all my/your stamps disappeared....GASP!!!" OMGosh what would I do? So today I went with my 2nd idea I had which was to use wrapping paper. I found this fun Christmas wrap in my stash that looks more like a display isle at walmart than storage in my closet. LOL.
I also included last Friday's FREE 4 ALL CHALLENGE # 89 - 6 Inches of Fun. I love these little treat holders. I had to use my copic to have ribbon the color I needed.
I have a busy day at work with the 1st day of Computerized Physician Order Entry. They are NOT excited and I am terrified that something will not work right which will give them the amunition they need to refuse to comply.
RECIPE:
Stamps: None
Paper: tempting turquoise, crumb cake, Christmas wrap
Ink: none
Accessories: ribbon, copics, Fiskars Snowflake Punches
Techniques: no stamping, 6x6 treat holder

Ginger Cookie Candy Bar Door Hanger

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 345 - Blushing Rose Limeade.
I backed up and tried Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 347 - Candy Bar Door Hanger and am so glad I did, so NOT as difficult as I imaged.
I used lucky lemonade cs as my base and topped it with some BoBunny dp. I made my hole with my brand new Nestie "Holiday Tags". Whoo Hoo, love some new stuff.

I used a just released acrylic set from MARKS FINEST PAPERS called "GINGER COOKIES". Love that set. I stamped the small image randomly using regal rose ink on both the cs and dp. I used the inside portion of the Holiday Tag to make a tag and stamped the "TO: and FROM:" also in regal rose.

Tied some blushing bride ribbon on the tag and top of the door hanger and filled it with my kind of candy bar - chocolate filled with nuts. Now I wonder who's door I could hang this on? NOPE the real question is will it keep til 12/24? Probably NOT!! LOL
Have a fabulous Tuesday everyone.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Ginger Cookies - MFP
Paper: Lucky Lemonade, Bo Bunny dp
Ink: regal rose
Accessories: ribbon, Nestability, Holiday Tag label

Garden Fairy Totally Tote Bag

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 218 - BSpinks. Congrats to you Beverly. I love your CAS gallery and really love your CHOCOLATE CHIP BUTTERFLY]. I changed the colors, left off the flower, and made a treat bag instead of card.
This is also for Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE # 279 - Cox & Cox. I had already saved this BUTTERFLY RUBBER STAMPS PICTURE.
I trimmed my sentiment using one of my very neglected decorative scissors (Victorian, I think?) that I just had to have years ago for Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 317 - Decorative Scissors.
I used Tuesday''s COLOR CHALLENGE # 317 - Breezy Parade of Pears.
This is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 318 - Totally Totebags that I never got around to doing but wanted to.
My stamp set used for this is called "GARDEN FAIRIES and will be available next week from MARKS FINEST PAPERS. I used white for my base and layered it with some MME dp. Baby Boy Milk Carton of Goodies

This is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Stretching the Limits with 3D. OHH thank you, thank you Dawn. I have been wanting to make one of these for yrs just did not have the courage. I love them. They are just tooo adorable. I have a co-worker who is expecting her 1st child soon and it is a boy so I thought this would be perfect to fill with pacifiers (aka blinkie's), teething tabs, booties and such. I hope she does not mind the ribbon and cord but I felt like it needed something. I love this Paper Studio dp but next I will for sure use CS and trim the dp to fit around it. I may have to make this over and do just that before I give it to her but for now here it is. I even have enough dp to make a gift card to go along with it or maybe a tag. WHoo Hoo wish I did not have to go to work so I could keep playing. Oh well it takes a job to keep up with my addiction. LOL.

I almost cheated a bit and included Thursday's challenge but could not think of a song that the Cold/Flu season reminds me of. Everyone around here is sick bc we are in short sleeves one day with temps in the 80's and bundled up the next in the 50's. brrr. YUK. I hope this does not come back around to me again. I am finally getting over it but for my sick friends I made this get well treat holder that I will fill with cough drops and klennex.
The stamp sets I used were just released this week from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS and are GET WELL GENT and GET WELL DARLING. When I 1st saw these sets I went ape. Of course I had to have them. My image was cut using Labels 4, stamped in graphite black then colored with copics. I joined the seams with the same ribbon holding the top together. I stamped the sentiments in razzleberry. You can not see it but I stamped some of the images from both sets on the side portion of the box bottom. I love these treat holders. Believe In Word Holiday Sleigh

This is for today's TAKE THE TUESDAY CHALLENGE provided by CLEAR AND SIMPLE each month. This month we are challenged to create something for holiday decor. Well that was easy for me since I just loved this sleigh template so much and Shannon did too so I made her one. I think I like hers better than the 1st one. Hmm may have to swap it out huh? LOL. This one was made with a sheet of red metallic for the sleigh portion and the gold metallic for the frame. I used large brad to attach the frame to the sleigh. This template found on the CLEAR AND SIMPLE BLOG site is one of the easiest and most fun ones I have done. This sleigh was trimmed in gold cording, filled with red confetti and peppermints. The focal image is a decorated black ink pen. I punched 2 Marvy extra giga scallop circles in green and 2 giga scallop circles in white. I stamped the image 4 times in graphite black then colored with copics. and cut out the 2 birds and popped them up on dimensionals.
Here is another angle of this desktop treat holder.

And here is a close up of this darling cardinal image. I just think it is awesome. I think I will put this on my desk for decoration since they will not let us plug in trees (insert pout). This darling image is from a set called BELIEVE IN WORDS IV and will be available on December 10th from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS.
I made this in my all time favorite Christmas color combo (red , green and gold) so it is also for this weeks challenge from THE PINK ELEPHANT. Hope you like it. Come on play along with this months Take the Tuesday Challenge and visit the other Clear and Simple Design Team members for more eye candy.

Cup of Cocoa Snowman Soup Treat Box Sneak Peek

OH I just love this time of year and sending Snowman Soup is right up there on the top of my To Do List. LOL. I made this treat box out of a piece of Winter Textured DP from Wal Mart years ago. It measures out finished 5H,4L,1W and is filled with Hot Cocoa Mix, Marshmallows (they are there just hard to see) and a candy cane. I punched out the Nesties Oval Scallop in the center of the front side of the treat box then used that section to matt the sentiment on that is stamped in bashful blue and pacific point for the matching greeting card using a white card base and the dark blue textured cs from the stack. I used a set that will be released Dec 1st at midnight from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS. Hold onto your hat's because Sue has created another awesome template to coordinate with this darling stamp set. Oh I hope you like this sneak peek. Keep watching for more sneak peeks and eye candy from the CSS Design Team Members. Here is a snap shot of everything separated.and this is a close up of the card.

Sneak Peek Cup of Cocoa in a Winter Sleigh

Well Sue Berker over at Clear and Simple Stamps has done it again with a fantastic and fun template this month as a bonus. With the holiday season getting to a great start this Winter Sleigh template is a perfect addition to the seasonal decor around the home or office. Fill it full of goodies and watch everyone around flock to your desk

I used some red glitter dp for the sleigh body and some metallic dp for the gold frame. For the inside I used my gold leafing pen. I used 4 lg gold brads to attached the frame to the sleigh. A gold wired ribbon bow adorns the outside, red confetti paper on the inside topped with red and gree peppermints. I punched 2 Nestie labels 4 in Glorious Green cs then stamped the frame image from Cup of Cocoa set that will be released on Dec 1st in real red and the sentiment is from a set released the 15th of this month called Cookie Bake. Both sets are from Clear and Simple Stamps. I cut out the frames and attached it to the Nesties on both sides so that they look the same from front and back then adhered them to the jumbo paper clip and slid the clip to the side of the sleigh. This template can be found on the Clear and Simple Stamps Blog for you to print out and make one for yourself. I love how this turned out and hope you do too.
