Counting The Waves of Love

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 593 - Eating Cake and Pointing at the Wild Sky and for dessert "at the beach" which is where I long to be 90% of the time. It is also my Cool Treat place that I treat myself to as much as possible so this is also for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 384 - Cool Treats. I used my Marvy Mega Circle Punch to create my open circle for sponging for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 590 - Everything Old is New Again - Reverse Masking. I sponged soft sky, stamped my dolphin image in black then sponged pacific point for the water. I lined the waves lines with stickles for bling. I used the circle from the mask to cover my focal image and sponged some crumb cake then stamped some itty bitty background image in crumb cake to simulate sand. The palm tree die was cut out in crumb cake and wild wasabi.
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the ODB set in pacific point ink then inked up just the last part of the sentiment and stamped on the envelope. Hope you like it. I have a 16 days count down to our next family beach trip. Cant wait.

Jessie's Birthday Card

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 579 - I Lost my Honey in a Gray Lagoon, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 373 - It's About Birthdays and Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 444.
My darling hubby will be celebrating a birthday in August and as I put this together it just screamed for him so I went on and wrote his name on the envelope so I wouldn't change my mind later. LOL.
I used some dp from MME - Home stack for the 3 panels and unusual for me I used the basic gray cs for my card base. I usually use either white or vanilla since they are in more abundance and easier to restock.
I used white on the inside so I could stamp the sentiment and stamped in lost lagoon the Birthday Innies sentiment from sweet-n-sassy stamps.  I love this sentiment and can not believe it is the first time I have used it.  On the envelope I used the balloon stamp from Favorite Teddy Stampin Up set in hello honey ink.
I lost my SU demonstrator and have to find a new one. I also thought I had lost my mojo since a month had past and I just could NOT get inspired by the challenges. Still not sure I ever had any mojo but gave it a shot today anyway. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Favorite Teddy, Birthday Innies, SNS,
Paper: White, basic gray, My Minds Eye - Home, hello honey, lost lagoon

I also stamped in sahara sand on the inside a sentiment from Blessings from Heaven.
I am so having trouble with this computer or my internet connection as it took 30min just to edit the front view pic. I will keep working to edit the inside and load it as well. I hate time restrictions but that is what happens when you have to work to earn more money to buy more stuff. LOL

In My thoughts with Hope

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 570 - Honey and Cherry Meadows, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 573 - Revisiting Emboss Resist, and Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 435.
I have been MIA all week last week sick with sinus junk and just not feeling well enough to play and I think it is coming back for round 2 but I wanted to make something today. It started as a sympathy card and turning into encouragement for a co-worker who has worked hard all of her life and just at the peak of her career she goes and has a major stroke leaving her child-like in mentality. Such a sad situation as she was the breadwinner for her family. There is still hope that her faculties might return but not back where they were. The white embossed trees are a sign of winter when the leaves die off and the branches are bare. The mossy meadow tree popped up is the hope of the future that ins the spring the leaves and branches come back to life again.
Off to work I go.
I stamped the single tree on the inside after stamping off 2 times then the sentiment on top of the tree.  I hope she likes it.
RECIPE:

Paper: White, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Bo Bunny-Forever Fall dp
