In My thoughts with Hope

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 570 - Honey and Cherry Meadows, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 573 - Revisiting Emboss Resist, and Monday's MOJO MONDAY'S SKETCH CHALLENGE # 435.
I have been MIA all week last week sick with sinus junk and just not feeling well enough to play and I think it is coming back for round 2 but I wanted to make something today. It started as a sympathy card and turning into encouragement for a co-worker who has worked hard all of her life and just at the peak of her career she goes and has a major stroke leaving her child-like in mentality. Such a sad situation as she was the breadwinner for her family. There is still hope that her faculties might return but not back where they were. The white embossed trees are a sign of winter when the leaves die off and the branches are bare. The mossy meadow tree popped up is the hope of the future that ins the spring the leaves and branches come back to life again.
Off to work I go.
I stamped the single tree on the inside after stamping off 2 times then the sentiment on top of the tree.  I hope she likes it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: In My Thoughts, Lovely as a Tree, Word on Word
Paper: White, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Bo Bunny-Forever Fall dp
Ink: Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow
Accessories: dimensionals, Cottage Cutz Tree
Techniques: 3D, emboss Resist, 2nd generation stamping

Season's Greeting Lovely Tree

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 563 - Small Stamp Designs
I used the small stamp from Lovely as a tree to border my focal image. I stamped all images in garden green for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 354 - Christmas Greens. After stamping my tree on the focal panel and without inking again I stamped again on the inside of the card for a slightly lighter image then stamped the sentiment over the tree.
I also stamped Merry Christmas on the upper panel of the inside as well as the back side of the envelope. I distressed the edges of my focal panel with the ink pad before matting on white card base. I cut an oval and used the cut out for my reverse masking around the tree using pear pizzazz ink. I added stickles to the tree and all the small twigs around it. I hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Season's Greetings
Paper: white
Ink: Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz
Accessories: Stickles, oval mask
Techniques: Reverse Masking, Small Stamp Designs

Lovely Decorating Snowman

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 558 - White Silhouettes where I stamped my tree in versamark then added white embossing powder and heat set it. This is also for today's CAS349 - Time To Hibernate and for this I inked up my Inky Antics "Decorating Snowman" set and stamped the image in momento tuxedo black once on the white card base and once on white paper which I cut out and used as a mask. After my images where the way I wanted I began sponging at the bottom with soft sky, then pool party then coastal cabana at the top. I love these 3 colors together. I colored the snowman image with copics BG10, 11, 13, & 15, R13 & 15, Y02, and YR23.
The inside sentiment and the tree on the envelope were stamped in coastal cabana. Hope you like it.

Happy Anniversary Card for Andy and Nikki

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 517 - Triple the Possibilities, today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 308 - New Year Resolutions, and today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 381. My New Years Resolution is to complete the inside along with the outside on all the cards I make this year. Today I did that with the help of Sweet N Sassy's Inside Innies for Anniversaries. I used the single tree from Lovely as a tree for my focal image, inked it with chocolate chip and wild wasabi inks and stamped after huffing. I colored inside and around and make some grass around the tree bottom. I curved the sentiment and stamped it in Primrose Petals. This is going next door to a nephew and his wife for their 1st anniversary. Hope they like it

Paper: white, DCWV dp

Now ladies, with these challenges as they are how could I not use that stamp set and die cut? LOL.
I stamped the tree on the tall wide piece of white CS in garden green and then on the postage piece while still in the die cut I did a second stamp off. I then stamped the sentiment over the tree again while it was still in the die cut then sponged the edges with espresso ink. I covered the tree with some Snow-Tex and then stickles after sponging the edges with garden green. I hope you like it. I had fun making it and it only took about 20 minutes to complete.
