The stickles on the ladies blouse and hat are for today's CRAFY CREATIONS CHALLENGE - Make The New Year Glitter. My image was stamped in graphite black then colored with copics. I have no idea what the name of this stamp is bc there is no name on the block, just the company. My dp is from Memory Block's Inspiration stack. I heated the ribbon to make it twist. Hope you like it.

Well there are about 20 people coming to my house this afternoon expecting a wonderful dinner and fellowship. We have 4 birthdays in October and the are all on just 2 days, 16th nad 22nd. I used a set I just bought Friday on my shopping adventure with Shannon from Inkadinkadoo called "Horses" and for my sentiment I used SU It's Your birthday. I love this seasons dp from Recollections - Autumn. I made my own background stamp from one I got in the dollar bin. My image and sentiment are stamped in close to cocoa.

Black Marbled Wedding

Well I am home today sick again. As hard as I have tried to not claim it I think I am giving in to allergies or something. So this is what I made today while my fuzzy head swims full of nighttime cold relief. I did all 5 challenges for this week. Today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Border Crossing, Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Black, Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE, Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Real Black Olives, and Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Marbles. I used the flower image from Noteworthy on my old olive layer all around the edges even though it is hard to see covered up. I used some red and black polka dot ribbon and silver wedding rings for imbellishments. I am headed back to the couch but I hope everyone has a great day and weekend. Think I am taking the WE off so I can get well.

CASE of a BIRD'S NEST

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER CHALLENGE - Lazy Liz and Friday's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - TLC meets LSC. I chose to do a single layer card that I seldom do but see quite a few of in the gallery, I also used chaulks to do all of my coloring. This is also for Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Pier 1 catty. I went browsing through all of the pages of the Pier 1 catty and loved the colors on page 12-13 so I used them for my color theme. I chose Liz's ROBIN'S NEST card to CASE. I left off the layers making to make it a single layer card and left off the CB layer and added ribbon. I also used different colors My sweet daughter (e3stamper) picked this up for me on her last visit to our LSS which is 45miles away on a day I was working and could not go -insert pout- but did redeem herself by picking up this bird nest stamp from inkadinkadoo that I have been pondering over for several visits. So today I also honor her for thinking of me. After chaulking the colors in I applied stickles to the eggs, butterfly, flowers nad leaves for shimmer. Congrats to ya Liz. Enjoy your day.

Sweet Happy Birthday

Well I had a difficult time deciding on what to do with today's colors but I guess that is why it is called COLOR CHALLENGE. This weeks colors were Vanilla, Choc Chip, and Sage Shadow. I recently received my Inkadinkado Sweet Bithday set with a variety of cupcakes so I thought this was the perfect time to ink'em up. I mean choc and cup cakes do go togethere don't they? LOL.My image was stamped on vanilla with choc chip twice. One was cut in a circle to be matted on Giga Circle scallop choc chip stamped with Gina K circle using Vanilla Craft Ink. I cut just the top part off from the other image applied stickles and popped it up. I used Beate's weekend sketch #49 as my layout. The sentiment is 2 of the ones from Fancy Flexible Phrases which I love especially when I have limited space to work with like on this one. My choc chip panel was embossed using Cuttlebug Birthday folder. I am not sure I like this but I finished it.
