Hogs and Kisses

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 523 and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 513 - Basic Bermuda Slush which sounds so yummy even as cold as it is.
I found this digi image in my stash from years gone by and just had to color it up. I used copics and as I was coloring I realized how long ago it was that I printed this because it was certainly before I found the right paper for copic coloring, oh well, no time to reprint and start over just had to go with it and make the best of some therapy time. I stamped the sentiment from All Year Cheer that reads "hugs and kisses" and changed the u to an o. I think I will give this to my darling daughter e3stamper (aka) Shannon. She will get a kick out of it.
RECIPE:
Paper: white, Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush, DCWV - Blossoms & Butterflies dp
Ink: Bermuda Bay

My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAYS' SKETCH CHALLENGE # 213.

A CASE Of Clowning Around

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 168 - GloriousGreetings AKA Gloria. Congratulations on being in the spotlight Gloria. I chose to CASE her PATCHPAL SCARECROW card. I changed the layout, colors and image from scarecrow to Clown.
I am also CASEing Mercy's LEO THE LION for Saturday's CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES # 34 - CASE. I love the simple layout with dp and the large image.
It is very close to today's SKETCH SATURDAY CHALLENGE # 100 so I used it as well. I added some ribbon and paper pierced around my focal image mat rather than on the dp. I also used dotted dp but large colored dots. The paper piercing was also for Monday's TECHNQIUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 269 - Paper Piercing. The layered primas in the right upper corner are for Saturday's OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE - Blooming Blossoms. The various colors were inspired by the dp but also Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE # 229 -Green Rainbow where I found this darling NUMBER SNAIL PUZZLE. This darling dp is some Shannon shared with me recently. I am trying to make sure I use it or she might borrow it back. LOL. I think the image is a High Hopes image but not sure. Little Sunshine Sneak Peek & Itty Bitty Sand Architech

I have 2 big reasons for sharing joy with all. 1st Shannon took and PASSED her Para-Pro test on Monday so it is full time teaching for her. WHOO HOO!!!! 2nd I recently answered a call from Emily who host the weekly color challenges on SCS to help her out this summer as she prepares for her dh to go away in service to our country. I was more than happy to send her a pm that I would be glad to help out. She selected me for this week and so this is for today's Splitcoast Stampers COLOR CHALLENGE - Pacific Tango Summer . So I am just too excited to bring this to you as a guest host for Emily.
This month we say goodbye to the Stampin' Up In Colors and so farewell to some of my favorite colors: Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango. I wanted to include both of these in my challenge as I just do not feel like I have shown them enough love. I included Summer sun . I used last weeks CLEAR AND SIMPLY CHALLENGE - Sketch for my layout. Last week the DT got their new images that will be released Thursday to play with from TREEHOUSE STAMPS. This one is called Little Sunshine and was just perfect for the color challenge I had in mind. I stamped my image in black then colored with copics. The clouds were then covered with stickles. The sentiment was then stamped with tangerine tango. I hope you play along this week and have fun with these gorgeous colors for 1 last week.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Little Sunshine
Ink: Black brilliance
Paper: White, Summer Sun, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Stickles, copics..

.
I had to make another one when I got up this morning. I just about to stamp every morning. I do my best work then. I just love this image.
This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Pacific Tango Summer, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE #20 - Paper Piecing where I pieced his swim truck from a piece of scrap for Sunday's HIGH HOPES #36 CHALLENGE - Scraps. My layout is from Monday's MOJO # 92 -Sketch. I must admit that last week when Shannon made a card using this image I gave her a hard time because she had a darling stamp that I did not have nor did I have any stamped images of it (insert green face) then she points out that it is my stamp that she got some images from (insert shame face here). Well I just had to use it today. I stamped my image is black then colored with copics and paper pieced the trunks. The kraft layer was punched with my new EK Success border punch and it is sad most of it is covered up where you can not see it. Then I stamped one of the itty bitty background images in brown for a sandy look. I really love how this turned out so much I am ready to go back to the beach with the grands.

Heard You've Been A Little Eel

This is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Life's A Beach. I knew immediately I had to use my new High Hopes images that I could not wait to get and have not yet inked up. Sad right? Oh well I also have not done any watercoloring in a while untile today and now I remember why. It takes so much longer than copics. I think I used a color from every color family in SU on this Sea Floor Background but I love colorful corals. Edgar the Eel was stamped on white with black brilliance then colored with copics for time saving purposes. I applied stickles to the eel and twinkling H2O's to the background image. I have to get to work sometime this morning. LOL. I inked the sentiment up using summer sun and old olive markers. I tried to follow a sketch from Sunday's SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 17 but realized once I looked at it again I did not quite follow the plan, Oh well. I love how my wc turned out so that is all that counts. Now what do you think? How did I do? Don't be shy, I take critics and compliments both very well. Hope everyone has a wonderful start of a weekend. Looks like rain for us here in South GA.
