Spring Fever Box in a Bag

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 366 - Daffodil Party Parade. WOW Mary I put these colors together and my SPRING FEVER went wild. I have it bad right now.
I just had to make another one of these darling gift bags for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 368 - Box In A Bag. If you have not tried this yet you really are missing out on a fabulous gift idea even if your gift is a gift card stuff this full of tissue paper with the gift card in the center of all of it.
I walked upstairs and this sheet of Urban Window Collection dp was stairing at me, literally so I went with it. I used pool party for the box base. Poppy parade was used for the tag punch and daffodil delight for the bottom border after using Fiskars sunburst border punch. I was going in a western direction until my Fiskars rope border broke trying to punch some poppy parade :(
Am I the only one this happens too bc it seems to happen a lot with SU cardstock and only with SU cs.
Oh well I decided to defer decorations on the front until I decide what I am going to fill the bag with.
Now off to work I go.
RECIPE:
Stamps: none
Paper: daffodil delight, pool party, poppy parade
Ink: none

I love today's WT challenge. I used some ribbons from something made over a year ago as well. I addeda layer to the top of the daffodil delight panel that was stamped like the background panel, punched a slot and made a bookmark which is what I wanted to do yesturday. Because I Care

This is for today's FEATURED STAMPER # 191 - alimarbles. Congratulations Alison. I chose to CASE her GLIMMERRING HYDRANGEA. I changed the layout, colors, and left off the ribbon.
I just had to have this set as soon as I started seeing uploads with it and when I got it I wore it out. It was collecting some dust so I brought it back out again for some luvin'. I stamped the image in Momento Tuxedo Black on white cs then colored with copics, adhered some tissue paper, cut and embossed using Nesties Label 10 and then stamped the sentiment on top of the tissue in basic gray. I then used some glitter spray on the entire panel for some shimmer. I tried again to use my color spritzer and I am convinced I am tool challenged. I just can not get an even flow like I want with it. I made a matching candle to go along with my card for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 292 - Stamping on Tissue just because I love to make these candles and have not made one in a while.

Strawberry Ice Cream Matchbook

This is for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE # 050 - Color combo (Pink, Sky Blue, Brown, Cream). Well I had a hard time with this color combo but am happy with the end result. I just wished that Strawberry Ice Cream was real. As hot as it is I would eat it.
I made a matchbook this time as I needed a break from the traditional card creation. I used one of the digital images from ASHELY'S DOODLES, a digital set from TREEHOUSE STAMPS. I used my new large scallop oval Nestie to cut and emboss my focal panel. I colored a 2nd image and cut out the ice cream portion and popped it up on dimensionals. My sky blue is the shading around the image and the brads.
Now it is your turn to show me what you can do with this color combo. Just be sure to include THT050 in your keywords when you upload so that we can see what you make. Also provide us with a link on the TREEHOUSE BLOG.

Shelled Birthday Bookmark

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 276. For my color combo I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 266 - Blushing Coral Rubies which I had the pleasure of helping Betty out with. When I 1st saw the sketch this morning the 1st thing I thought of was how perfect panel # 3 would be holding panel # 2 in place which would be an added treat, a bookmark, so this is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Save the Page. I tried again to tie a really pretty bow for Saturday's OUR CREATIVE CORNER CHALLENGE - Bows. I distressed panel 3 which is cameo coral with cameo coral ink using sponges for ALL THAT SCRAPS WEEKLY WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE - Distressing, and my words of encouragement to have a snappy bday are for FOR FUN CHALLENGE - Encouragement.
