Mirrored Spring Posies

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 522 - Whispers of Smoky Wisterias, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 525 - Mirror Mirror, Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 316 - No Patterned Paper and Monday's MOJO MONDAYS SKETCH CHALLENGE # 389. This will finish me in my crafty cave until Wednesday next week :( I miss my daily stamping time.
I used a new stencil on sponged smokey slate gray on smokey slate gray cs. I punched old olive cs using my Martha Stewart grass border punch. I stamped the mirrored image (the one in the middle) on white cs then stamped the rest of the width then colored with BV20, 31, 34, YG91, 93, & 95 copics. Covered the seam with some ribbon. Stamped the sentiment from Spring Song in wisteria wonder and matted on wisteria wonder. Hope you like it.

One Color All Holidays for Friends

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE #515 - Multicolor Sentiment and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 306 - Just One. I went with the monochromatic look to do both challenges and made a simple and fast card to boot. Whoopi for me, so glad to get to play. I dusted off a Kaleidacolor pad of blues to stamp my all time favorite SU sentiment, matched up some card stock for a matt and ribbon for decoration and viola, I was done. Hope you like it and I know just the friend I am giving this to. Hope she likes it too.

ETA: Why am I never satisfied with a card I make?? I always think of something I could have done better or different after I have loaded. Well that is what happened to this one too. I add some some faux brads with punches from my crop-a-dile using tempting turquoise cs. Hope the improvement makes it better.
RECIPE:
Stamps: All Holidays
 Paper: White, Tempting Turquoise
 Ink: Kaleidacolor Blue Breeze
Accessories: Ribbon
Techniques: One Color, Monochrome Sentiment

The Nicest Things are Friends

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 409 - Red Pirouette Wonder with a dessert of circles. I used polka dotted dp and round flowers with circled centers.
This is also for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 412- Let the Paper inside show. I trimmed 3/4 inch off the edge of my white card base then cut the edge with Fiskars Pointed Flower border punch so that my dp on the inside would show.
My sentiment is from Stampin' Ups "The Nicest Thing", a set that is just precious to me and was stamped in ruby red ink then punched with oval punch and matted on ruby red scalloped oval panel.
I covered the seam of my 2 top panels using some pink pirouette ribbon.
My layout is from Monday's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 276.
Hope you like it now off to work I go.
RECIPE:
Stamps: The Nicest Things
Paper: white, ruby red, pink pirouette, The Glitter Mat Stack & Nan's Kids dp from DCWV
Ink: ruby red
Accessories: ribbon, dimensionals, oval and scalloped oval punches, Fiskars Pointed Flower border punch
Techniques: let the inside paper show
