Color Blocked Pumpkin Harvest

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 551 - Color Blocking with Cardstock. What a fun technique to play with. I used my Pumpkin Harvest ef on tangelo twist cs. My layout is from today's MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE # 415. Not too much details that are not obvious here. I stamped the sentiments in tangelo twist.
On the inside I stamped off once on the envelope before stamping on top of the sentiment. Hope you like it. Now off to work.

Thank You Perfectly Penned

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 402 - Layered Scallops. I used 2 different fiskars scallopped border punches and 2 different colors of card stock.
My color combo is for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 195 - Pinterest Inspiration photo.
My layout is from Friday's CLEAN & SIMPLE SKETCH CHALLENGE # 215. I started with a white cs base then added the 2 layers of scalloped borders.
I cut and embossed the 4 different leaves from 4 different colors of cs and arranged them the way I wanted them then stamped the sentiment in dusty durango and viola I was done.
OK so if you read my last upload, which was Wed by the way, you would remember what an ordeal I had with that creation. NOT this one. Went together like peanut butter and jelly. LOL.
HOWEVER, the dilema with my creation was NOT by a long shot the end of the trials for us that day. My MIL had 2 really hard BAD seizures around 3pm and FIL called the EMS to pick her up. She spent 2 days in ICU then Friday around 10am she started repeating everything she said 4-5 times and not able to walk, at 1pm we were in another hospital in another ICU where she has been since. Things have gotten better in some ways and we are HOPEFUL she can come home today.
I broke away to go to Sunday school only to find out that my daughter had her son in the ER for Asthma/Bronchitis. **man, can we get a break? ** At least they let him go back home after some steroids and resp treatments.
I am soooo ready for things to melow back out.
RECIPE:
Stamps: perfectly penned - SU

Autumn Glory

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 344 - Covered Chipboard. Since I have no chipboard and desparetly wanted to play I made my own chipboard from the insert board from my Creative Memories oval shape cuts. I stamped the leave in Momento rich cocoa on Bo Bunny - Forever Fall dp and then cut it out, adhered it to the board and cut it out again. Hope this counts.
The paper piecing I did also qualifies for today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENG E# 137 - Paper Piecing. I stamped both the leaf and pumpkin on the dp then cut them out, the pumpkin was glued to the main image and then the rest colored with copics. I sponged some tempting turquoise very lightly for clouds. My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 341 - Tempting Pumpkin Olives which are perfect colors for fall. I used my copics to color and added some yellow and orange ribbon and bows. These images are digital images and will be released Aug 4th from TREEHOUSE STAMPS DIGITAL LINE. This set is called "Autumn Leaves" so be on the look out for it as well as "HALLOWEEN EXTRAS", "SWEETEST FLOWERS", Some Spooky Kids, and "BEARY THANKFUL". CAS Winter DT Call

This is for the CAS DT WINTER CALL. I used this darling SNOWFLAKE, ICICLE, and ICE CUBE ORNAMETS for inspiration for this Wintery inspiration and combined it with sketch #1. I used some Winter Snowflake textured dp I have had for a couple yrs from WalMart for the top panel and bashful blue cs for the base. I punched a strip of white and used my MS drippy goo border punch bc it looks like melting snow. I punched the small and medium side snowflakes from this fantastic set just released on the 15th from CLEAR AND SIMPLE STAMPS - Winter in bashful blue and pacific point ink. I love this set. I punched the snowflakes using circle punches then aligned them on top of the blue ribbon. I applied a little stickles on the tips of the border.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Winter - CSS
Paper: bashful blue, white, WM Wintery Textured dp
Ink: bashful blue, pacific point
Accessories: ribbon, MS drippy goo border punch, stickles, circle punches

This one is also for the CLEAN AND SIMPLE WINTER CALL. I used an autumn set recently released from TREEHOUSE STAMPS - Autumn Blessings. I used this MAPLE LEAF GLASS ORNAMENT for my inspiration and combined it with Sketch #2 to make this card. I stamped the leaf in this fun autumn set in kiwi kiss, crushed curry and dusty durango. I also rolled some of the leaves in a 2nd color. I love the way leaves look this time of year in their varigated shades. Each leaf is punched with a square and the dusty durango mat is the smalled deckled punch from Fiskars. This ended up larger than I normally like but I think it turned out ok.

Retiform Autumn Blessings

This is for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE - Color Combo (Crushed curry, dusty Durango, soft suede, & a neutral). Ashley has chosen some perfect colors for us to be inspired by the changing of the seasons all around us. It is good to see the trees finally turning around here in the deep south. If you don't have these SU colors then she says still please free to play along with colors you do have close to these mentioned. I also did not get to do and wanted to try Monday's TECHNIQQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Retiform so I had to try it. Not as difficult as I thought it might be. I trimmed some of my post it notes in various shapes and began with crushed curry rolled then placed my post its and rolled dusty durango, then more post its and a light roll of soft suede on top to sorta give it an aged (distressed) look. My layout is from Sunday's CARD POSITIONING SYSTEMS SKETCH CHALLENGE # 139. Love this sketch. I used dusty durango for my base and a strip of durango on top of my retiform background panel. The sentiment on my focal panel was stamped in soft suede then the leaves inked in crushed curry and rolled in dusty durango then stamped randomly. I punched out 2 different types of leaves from Fiskars punches in crushed curry and sponged the edges with dusty durango then popped them up. The focal panel and matt were cut with Labels 4 Nestie. The nesties and the stamp set used called Autumn Blessings can be found at TREEHOUSE STAMPS. Hope you like it and come on play along with the THT challenge this week. THT019 CASING Me with Autumn Blessings

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Autum Leaves and for today's TREEHOUSE THURSDAY CHALLENGE 019 - CASEing Neva. Yep, that's right, I am CASEing myself this week. Hey I love a challenge and there is not many I will not do. TeeHee. OK so I love trying to make unique shaped cards and this SUNSHINE SCALLOPS Circle Card was soo much fun I decided to try a pumpkin shaped card when I got my new Nestie Pumpkin dies. I envisioned not taking my folded CS all the way to the top would allow for a fold at the top and it did. YEAH! I used the largest for the base and the next one for the front which was also embossed then I used my birthday present to myself that I bought last week on shopping trip with my darling hubby. I bought an air compressor for my Copic Airbrushing system as I am terrified of the cans. I know stupid right, but a fear of explosion is real to me. So I am not so afraid of my compressor, go figure. Anyway I used some Y11 in the center with the die still in place, then some Y26 around the edges. I placed the leaves punched in kiwi kiss around the sentiment stamped in dusty durango. I love how this turned out and hope you do too. Come on play along with the THT challenge. Ashley and all the DT would love to see what you come up with. Just make sure to include THT019 in your keword.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Autumn Blessings - Treehouse Stamps
Paper: Orange Textured CS, White
Ink: Dusty Durango
Accessories: Copic, copic ABS, Nestabilities - Pumpkin
