Sweet Talking Full of Love for You

This is for today's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 575 where I took a small liberty changing the circle to a heart. My color combo is from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 565 - What's Black and White and Red all over?". How could I resist making a valentine card with these colors in this weeks challenge? Well I couldn't so I did. What I could do is figure out how to include the odd shape for Monday's TLC and white on white for the CAS challenge this week. LOL. So just 2 challenges for me today but I love how it turned out.
I dry embossed the Darice Hearts diagonal embossing folder on white and matted it on the white cs base then cut the heart from some real red cs. I popped up the black ribbon under the LOVE sentiment cut from black cs.

Hope you like it as much as I do. Have a fabulous day my stamping friends.
For the inside I stamped a sentiment from SU's Full of Life set using cherry cobbler ink and the envelope I stamped the solid heart in cherry cobbler then the open heart and sentiment in momento tuxedo black ink on the front left corner of my envelope.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Full of Life, Sweet Talk
Paper: white, black, real red
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: dimensionals, ribbon, Nestability Heart, Memory Box Love die, Darice Hearts Diagonal
Techniques: 3D, dry embossing

A Lotus for your Birthday

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 556 - Tempting Red Petals, for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 559 - A CASe In Point where I choose today to CASE my ROSE BIRTHDAY CARD and used a technique that I loved called TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE 551 - COLOR BLOCKING WITH CARD STOCK. This is also for Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 350 - To Grandma's House we go. I know nothing about my father's mother since I was 3 yrs old when my parents divorced and my mom moved us from Indiana to GA with her mother. She passed away when I was only 4 but I do remember everyone talking about how she could stick her thumb in a pot with dead flowers and bring them back to life so this is in the honor of those memories. I color blocked with primrose petals and real red cs the top layer of the flower and the HB sentiment. I embossed the tempting turquoise panel with Darice Brick Wall embossing folder.
I stamped the sentiments on the inside and envelope in tempting turquoise ink. I hope you like it and off to work I go. Have a blessed day everyone.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Birthday Greetings - Joanne's
Paper: white, tempting turquoise, Real red, primrose petals, wild wasabi
Ink: Tempting turquoise
Accessories: Lotus Blossom die, HB die, Cuttlebug, Brick Wall EF
Techniques: 3D, color blocking with card stock, CAS, dry embossing

Dry embossed Happy Birthday

This is for today's TECHNIQU LOVERS CHALLENGE # 527 - Cardstock Only and last Thursday's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 524 - Tortoise or Hare. On this card I was the Hare finishing in 5 minutes. WOW. While I can call this a Clean and Simple card I can not use today's CAS challenge since it is a card :( .
I used a new to me embossing folder from Darice for my front and pool party card stock. I also cut and embossed some balloons from a new to me die set from Die-Versions Make a Wish set. I popped 2 up and left on flat. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:

Paper: Pool Party
