Congrats Greeting Card Kids Half On Half Off

This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 550 - Half On - Half Off, and today's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 341 - Back to School. I am not at all sure I am happy with this but it is what it is. Time to move on to some house cleaning. It is Labor day and that means I need to labor. ugh. Anyway I tried 3 times to get a photo that captured the front. IRL it really is lined up. ggrrr. Too many issues this morning and glad I did not have to give up to get to work on time. I stamped the image on white and daffodil delight in tuxedo black then colored the white layer with copics: B34, B37, E21, E23, E25, E50, E51, G40, G43, R14, R17, Y13, Y18. I used some dp from DCWV called Grade School.
I stamped the sentiment from Congrats on the inside and envelope in cucumber crush. I will be giving this to one of my 2 younger grands after next year graduation up to next level. I hope you like it better than I do.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Greeting Card Kids, Congrats
Paper: white, daffodil delight, DCWV Grade school dp

Alana's 15th Birthday Card

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE # 544 - Unite the Lefties where we were to focus and accent the left side of the cards. My layout is from Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE # 553. My color choices are from Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE # 543 - No Gray days in Lucky Bermuda. The acetate on the left curvy panel is for Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 546 - Mind the Gap. I made this a little early as our oldest granddaughter will celebrate # 15 next Valentines day but I had to go with what came in my head. She LOVES monkeys and so I ran with that as my inspiration after finding the jungle dp hidden in my storage drawer. I did a computer generated sentiment in as close to the color as possible then punched it out with Marvy Oval and layered with Bermuda bay Marvy oval. I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card and the left corner of the envelope in Bermuda bay. I hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: It's Your Birthday
Paper: white, bermuda bay, basic gray, DCWV - Safari Kids dp
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Accessories: Marvy oval punches, Dies-r-us Monkeys Techniques: floating card, gap card

Simple Thoughts of Birthdays

This is for today's SKETCH AND STASH CHALLENGE. I love this layout, it is soo me. I also used 3 brads, 1 flower and 1 dp for THE PINK ELEPHANT - Recipe Challenge. I placed a brad on each end of my ribbon and in the center of my flower. The sentiment I used is from an acrylic set I picked up at HL months ago and am now just using. It is stamped in so saffron on white then matted on so saffron. I used close to cocoa for my base layer and the dp is from DCWV Glitter Matt Pack. I found this gorgeous design called MOD MARTINI from Saturday's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE - Heavenly Hostess'. This is also for Sunday's FEATURED STAMPER - VA Sunshine. Teresa is not only talented but a sweet heart to boot and I just could not let her special day go by without paying my respects to her. Congrats to ya girlie. I changed the layout, colors and shape of my focal image. Her gallery is packed full of flowers and she uses sentiments for her focal images a lot which is what I wished I could do so I am trying. I am finally rested up from CHA and was soo ready for today's TLC but will have to do after work since it is not up yet. Being ready to stamp I decided to search for some other challenges to do. Hope you like it. Let me know.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Simple Thoughts - Happy Birthday
Paper: Close To Cocoa, So Saffron, White, DCWV dp
