I had to Trust that God had my back and would give me the strength needed to care for her as long as He allowed her to remain. Mom loved roses and so do I with yellow being my favorite. I used my SU watercolor crayons to color my watercolor paper then cut the rose and leaves.
I stamped on the front panel and inside with pear pizzazz and the envelope with so saffron. Hope you like it.

A Celebration of Love and Sympathy

This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE # 511 - Old Cake Whisperer, Monday's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE # 514 - The Ones Have It, and Monday's CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE # 305 - Welcome the New Year. As odd as it may seem including a sympathy card in on a Celebration challenge it is with joy that one of our Choir members is saying goodbye to her 100 year old Aunt who was so dear to her heart. To have lived an entire Century is a celebration in itself but to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father is truly a celebration.
I stamped the image then trimed around it so that the sentiment would be visible then stamped the sentiments all in old olive ink. I tied some ribbon in as close as possible to crumb cake color and was finished. I hope she will love this sympathy card created just for her.
