This is for today's TECHNIQUE LOVERS CHALLENGE 480 - Stamp the Senitment over the image, CLEAN AND SIMPLE CHALLENGE 271- Casing Arizona Maine, and MOJO MONDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE 344.
I have been MIA since mid November and to explain ALL that has gone on would bore you to tears but today I was ready to stamp again. I choose to CASE Arizona's BIRTHDAY CANDLES. I stamped the sentiment over them in black then popped the tag up on dimensionals. I used pacific point ink to stamp the HB sentiment on the banner. I am not thrilled with the outcome but it is for my turning 6 yr old grandson. He will be happy to open it up and find a $20 bill in it then the card will get tossed aside, LOL. Gotta love kids today right.

I used copics BG000, BG72, C51, C53, R22, R27 & colorless blender to color and shade. The sentiments are stamped in ruby red. I used a sheet of baja breeze dp from Ski Slope. I distressed all of the layers edges. I used a set from MFT called Girls Day In. I really like how this turned out.

MFT- Time For Relaxing

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - Buttons. For my layout I used MY FAVORITE THINGS SKETCH CHALLENGE - # 83. For my color combo I used Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - So Bashful Pumpkins. I recently attended a stamp class hosted by none other than Kim herself and had such a blast. We got to play with this new set that day and I ordered both of these label sets as soon as they were released. I love them both but especially this one. I stamped the image in black brilliance, drew my hardwood floor, then colored and shaded with copics. I covered the bubbles with stickles. I used some Washington Apple dp for the 3 back panels and matted them on so saffron. I had some wide baby blue sheer ribbon and thought it would work perfect. I heated the ends of the ribbon with my heat gun to make them twist a bit. The focal image is popped up. I will stamp and color this image again for a label to be placed on some a jar of bath salts to give these as a gift set. I hope whomever gets these will love them as much as I did making them. I had loaded this earlier and kicked myself bc I meant to put a button on this since I am sooo bad about not using them. Then the WT challenge was loaded and I really did want to kick myself so I came home from work and did a do-over.f Now I am happy with it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Time For The Bubbly Label Set, MFT
Paper: white, so saffron, bashful blue, pumpkin pie, Washington Apple

Bathroom Inspiration By The Seashore

This is for today's LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE - Make Yourself At Home where we were to be inspired to use colors from one room in our house. I picked our upstairs bathroom (you can see the picture of my inspiration HERE. The window curtains were made from material I found at WalMart back when we had a sewing department. ggrrrrr. The walls were already painted that pepto pink color and being the new family member I did not want to change everything so I left it. The room off to the left of this bathroom was painted the same color bc it was my dh's daughters room for her overnights before she married. When she married I toook claim on it and the 1st thing I did was change the wall color to a soft blue. LOL . I used Wednesday's SKETCH CHALLENGE for my layout and Tuesday's COLOR CHALLENGE - Basic Rose Pirouettes color combo and added some browns, yellow, blue and cool carribean, sorry if that is cheating a bit. I have not got this set dirty since I bought it. What a shame, it is just adorable. Inked in black brilliance and colored with copics. I sponged the sun with Summer Sun, the clouds with bashful blue using a punched oval scallop as a mask and the ocean with cool carribean using a torn sheet of paper for a mask. I added some lines of stickles to the ocean for a sparkle effect. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Stamps: By The Seashore - MFT

Totally Torn Witchin'

This is for today's WAYS TO USE IT CHALLENGE - All Torn Up. I decided to use my new MFT set called Totally Witchin' for this one. I also experimented with one of my new Cuttlebug folders. I used the spider web to emboss on black then brushed the raised side with my versamark pad. Sprinked Diamond Dust EP and heat set it. Unfortunately the VM must have also got inbetween some of the raised lines bc I have glittery EP in places I did not want it. :( . Oh well I stamped the spider and cut it out. Whew that is not easy for an old lady like me with contacts in and glasses for magnifying but I got it done. The image was stamped in black stazon on white then colored with prismacolor pencils, blended w/gamsol and cut out around the frame. Matted on red cs stamped with a portion of one of the sentiments. The spider is popped up. Not exactlly to look I was going for but done nevertheless. Gotta go get dh's some supper ready. See ya in the challenges tomorrow.

I have 3 huge pallets of this dp. :( These are white cupcakes with strawberry icing and pixie pink spinkles. Yummy.

Birthday Cupcakes for Kim

Well I have just received inspiration from everywhere today so even though I had to work today, my day off :( I had to stamp. This is for today's INSPIRATION CHALLENGE. I got mine for this from the colors. I have had this set for a few weeks now and have not yet inked it up. Well this weekend Kim from My Favorite Things turns 40, Yeh! ((hands clapping)) and to help her celebrate I dirtied up my new set so this is also for My Favorite Things Guest Design Challenge. I pierced around the focal image and used my choc chip marker for faux stitching so this is also for July Ambassador #2 Challenge - Paper Piercing. I used this weeks SKETCH CHALLENGE for a layout. I just love this one. The tray was stamped in choc chip. the cupcakes were stamped with cranberry Crisp then colored with cranberrry crisp pad using blender pen. The icing is very vanilla craft ink and white detail embossing powder bc the vanilla just did not show well enough. The spinkles on top are stamped with versa mark and embossed with copper EP bc I am out of brown. Boy did I need to know that last week while we were shopping at Michaels. LOL. I chose these colors because as my dd e3stamper pointed out on her blog MFT BIRTHDAY red velvet is my fav of all time so the sprinkles are supposed to be pecans on top of cream cheese icing. The sentiment is also embossed with copper EP. I had a hard time with taking a good picture that did not show the glare from the EP, all 6 cupcakes have the specs on them it is just not easy to see.
RECIPE;
Stamps: Warmest Regards, What's Up Cupcake, MFT
Paper: White, Cranberry Crisp, Choc Chip, Everyday Tango (My Minds Eye)
Ink: Cranberry Crisp, Vanilla Craft Ink, Choc Chip,
Accessories: White Detail EP, Copper EP, Versa mark,
