"Crochet Mania" by DT Tanti

Happy Memorial Day!

Today's gorgeous inspiration comes from DT Tanti:
Tanti said: "This is absolutely my favorite challenge this month. I had so much fun making my own background. This is how I did it.  I used a white cardstock for my background. I begun with putting some paper doilies all around the page and glimmer misted it.  Then, I put my homemade polka dot mask on the cardstock and also glimmer misted it to give more structure to the background. After that, I took a TP roll, painted the rim with an acrylic paint and stamped it on my background paper to get those circle prints.  If you want to know how I made my polka dot stencil/mask here is the tutorial on

Happy scrapping!"

"2 of a Kind" LO by DT Megan

Today's gorgeous inspiration comes from our DT Megan Beaubien:
Megan said this about her layout:
"For this challenge, I scrapbooked pictures of my yougest son, Max and his cousin, Will. They are only 8 months apart and are quite the pair when they are together! I ended up flipping the sketch for my layout. My premade number is the 2 from Basic Grey's RSVP line. I used a lot of the Studio Calico Printshop line, as well as the Add-on Rome from Studio Calico's October kit. The boys' names were cut from my Silhouette Cameo using the Voluptate font."

"Spring Recital" LO by DT Haley

Haley did a great job with the sketch incorporating the Recital program as one of the layered papers adhering it with washi tape.  Fabulous idea!:) Take a look:

Haley said: "Using a new paper pack is using your stash too, right? I could not believe how well Close To My Heart's Dream Pop paper pack matched my daughter's spring piano recital! I cut down the program to use as one of the page elements of the sketch. My chipboard flowers are from Around the Block. I also used flower sequins & brads from Queen & Co. along with CTMH flower brads and flower gems (retired). The pearl flourishes and washi tape are current products. The peach ribbon was some that I had in my stash that may have been a Target Dollar Spot find. I had fun designing the second page to coordinate with the sketch."

Here's the sketch:

"CK Convention" LO by DT Tamara R.

Happy Friday Ladies!!!
Today we are sharing Tamara's layout about her time at the CK Convention! How fun!!!  Tamara's did a wonderful job with the sketch and a fantastic job using up the flowers in her stash!!

Tamara R.: "Flowers are something I have a lot of. My stash is loaded! This was a fun sketch, I love the angled papers. I added clusters of flowers with button centers and stickles on the little ones. I have been fortunate enough to attend many CK events. This was one of them. The cowboy print pattern paper was inserted in the middle of this program so I thought it fitting to use it on my layout. Thanks for helping me dig into my stash."

Now it's time for you to dig into your stash and use up those flowers!! :)

Wow! Look at Charlotta's layout and how she worked the sketch, the purple paint splatters and those yummy pre-made flowers from her stash!!!

I have used papers in matching colours and more than three flowers from Prima, glitter in pink and lace. The purple lace is coloured by the same splash-paint that I used on the layout. — atKungsträdgÃ¥rden Park & Evenemang."

"Laugh" LO by DT Lindsey K.

Lindsey did a wonderful job using up her stash on this challenge! She created a beautiful tree using Jolee's flowers and she did a fantastic job inking up the white space.  Great job Lindsey!

Lindsey said: "This sketch was so much fun! The sketch wasn't at all restrictive, so I kinda loaded on the details. The background is crayon and Tattered Angels, the framing paper is Daisy D's, the flowers and tree are from an old (very old) Jolee's package! I'd say this was a fun run through some old, old stash!"

"Apple Festival" LO by DT Michelle

Today we have Michelle's layout to share.  She did a great job on the sketch and love how she used the pearl swirl with her flowers!
Michelle writes:"Been wanting to scrap this pic for a long time. Had the apple paper and the flocked vine paper pulled out for this picture, but had no inspiration. Found the apple slide mount so I used it for my title on the opposite side as the sketch gave. The bird is a sticker added to a large tag which holds my journaling under the mat."

You still have time to upload your layouts for both May challenges. You can find information about the challenges HERE.

The photo is my oldest daughter, it's one of my favorite photos of her so I kept the layout kind of simple so as not to lose focus of the picture. "Our Family" LO by DT Heather G.

Hey Ladies!!! It's time to share inspiration with you all!! Today we are sharing Heather's beautiful layout about her family!  Heather did a fantastic job with the sketch and love how shoe layered those papers!

Heather: "What a gorgeous sketch!!! The papers I used were Webster's. I counted the flowers in my ribbon for my premade flowers. I love using this kind of ribbon, whether this size or the smaller ones. Oh, and since I rarely get to use pink or anything girly when scrapping because of my 5 Guys, I loved getting to use it on this layout of us on Easter afternoon!!!

Make sure you come back for daily inspiration! :)
