I loved Wendy's layout and the clean and simple design of it. I pulled out a couple of photos that I wanted to tell a story with and went from there. Thanks Wendy for the inspiration! Debra Piercey.

What a fun layout to pagerize this month!!! I really loved the overall design, so I kinda stuck to that...from the layering of patterned papers around the outside to make a frame....down to the double photos and ribbon. Now I chose a huge piece of white ric-rac....and it DID NOT look good between the photos, like the original layout...so I just moved it to the bottom of the page to ground the layout.

Thanks for a fun challenge!!! (papers are from Echo Park Happy Days line)

Now it's your turn to take the Pagerize This Challenge. See all the details HERE! Hurry the challenge ends at midnight today.

I found these old Christmas photos of my family and thought it would be fun to scrap them together.

The coordinating papers and stickers came in a book, but I can't recall right now because it is up at the cabin. (sorry) I loved how everything blended together. I also added buttons and misc. ribbon.

I decided to do something for Fall for Wendy's Pagerize This. In Washington State, when you think of fall, you think of Fairs! My husband and I love going to the Puyallup fair every year! We don't do the rides, we go for the food!! Gotta love fair food! They've got everything from Elephant Ears, to funnel cake, to corn on the cob, and even some pizza on a stick!
For this LO I used DCWV's Ultimate Premium Stack! I pretty much stuck to Wendy's fall theme and color scheme.

Here is my version of the pagerize challenge
I decided to lift the LO of the LO (if you see what I mean)
i also decided to make my own background paper ( based on a very old piece of paper I used recently - you can find it hereThe old paper had a stitched effect on it- so I made one of my own.

The LO is about our last night in the Netherlands before we moved back to the UK- its a group photo of us around a light in the ground in Utrecht after our last evening meal out.

Pagerize This Challenge # 14

Pagerizer Julie chose Wendy as the winner of the Pagerize This Challenge.  Julie said:

"They were all great pages, but I couldn't go past Wendy C's layout and that clever, clever tag with the school ID card tucked behind her daughter's lovely photo.

Here is Wendy's Pagerize This Challenge # 14.  She said:  "Thank you so much for choosing my layout Julie! I really loved your color combo....and the cute puppy pic!

Here is my layout, ready to be "pagerized". Since Fall is almost here, I pulled out last year's stack of photos. I know I always give my camera one heck of a workout taking pictures of all the changing colors. But my favorite part of this layout has to be that gorgeous ribbon I found! And while I was looking around for that piece, I found tons more to play with. So the element I would love to see pagerized most is the use of ribbons. Here I used it as an accent piece and a border. What can you do with your ribbon?

Posted by PicasaEach month on the 15th we will post a new layout for you to "pagerize" (plagerize, copy, lift, steal) whatever term you want to use. The idea will be - to use the posted layout as your inspiration to create your own layout. You can "pagerize" as much or as little of the original layout as you choose. You may want to make a layout just like the one posted - or you may just want to use something about the layout as your inspiration.

This challenge ends on October 12, 2011 at midnight central time. Then Wendy will choose a winner from the submissions. The winner will become our next Pagerizer.

Once you've completed your layout - email a picture and brief description to scrappinpsycho@live.com  All entries will be posted here at Scrap Our Stash. The challenge runs through midnight central time on October 12th. The "Pagerizer" (in this case Wendy), will then choose a winner from all the entries. The winner will be announced on October 14th. Then the winner will be asked to submit a layout for us to "Pagerize" starting on the 15th of October.
