A Winner!

Congratulations to Christine from Macdonald's Patch you guessed right it's a home!
Everyone was so close guessing a heart and I was sure you'd all get a house if I gave another clue!
Thanks for entering, I might have another giveaway when it's all finished so keep your eyes open.
I still have some stitching to do on this block so it'll be another night stitching until bedtime.
Cheers

Gotta Love Homespun Australia....

.....after all they chose my entry out of thousands to win a complete set of fat quarters of "In The Pink II" fabrics which are featured in the Breast of Friends Quilt. Now there's no excuse I'll have to make a start on it!!

I spent the weekend working on my Christmas in July swap gifts, nearly finished.

The Craft and Quilt Fair will be in Hobart this weekend, if you're there keep an eye out for me on "Stitch in Time" stand between 1:30 and 2:30, I'll be helping out Rosemary while she runs a workshop!!

Back to work today and looking forward to catching up with fellow workmate Ange whose returning from maternity leave. It'll be so good to chat about craft and girly things rather than AFL with the boys!!

This is it.....

...my 100th post and also my blogoversary!

1 year ago today I ventured into the abyss of blogging and what an adventure it has been. I've travelled the globe through cyberspace where I've been welcomed into everyone's sewing rooms and shared in your crafty adventures. I've cried for the loss of loved ones and pets too, I've laughed at your funny stories and I've felt joy for all the good times.

I love that you all get me and that there are others out there as obsessed as I am. I no longer think I'm strange, I feel part of a community and I enjoy the comfort that brings me. My soul is feeling very fullfilled.

So to mark this special occassion I've decided to giveaway some little goodies but this is a giveaway especially for all those who have commented on my blog in the last 12 months. I scrolled through all the comments and for every comment left your names were entered into a draw. There were some that had commented over 40 times, talk about terrific support. I put all the names in a list and then using a random generator mixed them all up. I then used a random number generator and came up with No 175 which was.......

drumroll please.........

The lovely Wonderwoman!!!!

Congratulations!! I'd like to add that Wonderwoman is one of those who has commented over 40 times and I'm so pleased with the result.

Here's the goodies I'll be sending you so please send me your address and they'll be on there way, might be a few little extras that sneak in the bag too!So to all those lurkers out there in blogland, jump in and leave a comment or two, who knows next year you might win something too!!

My friend Kate from Stitched With Love is looking for PIF participants, so if you want to play, pop over and leave her a comment.
