Paper Roses

I've been having fun playing with paper, here's some flowers I've made...

This one is the crumpled look and sprayed with gold schmooz

The rose is my favourite and so easy to make!

A Win and a card

Look at the gorgeous buttons waiting for me when I arrived home on Friday!

They are by the extremely creative Barb of Theodora Cleave. She handpaints every single one of them. I was lucky enough to win these as part of a giveaway where I had to guess how many buttons she had painted in the last month. My guess of 2250 fell short by 740 but was the closest. Barb must truly love her art!
Now I'll have to decide where and when I'll use these beautiful embellishments.
Thank-you so much Barb, I never expected to recieve so many but what a lovely surprise!!

I also wanted to show you a card I made for a dear friend, it took me ages but I loved the result!

Not Stitchin', Just Scrappin'

Last week I had all my scrapbooking gear out and was working on a project for one of my friends for her Mum's 60th birthday. I was originally going to make a card but decided to do something she could keep and display. I added a little hidden card to the 3rd picture down so they could write their birthday wishes on.

Happy Birthday Maxine!

It was good to do a bit of scrappin', my desk gets very messy though. So Kerri that's my July finish!
