A Good Day

Up early and to a family meeting today... it was a good day and now we are all in another phase of life with our son and grandaughter living here together... I am so happy for them! She is 7 and loves to do crafts so I will now have to clear a space just for her in my scrap room... and I guess I'll have to learn to share too!! I am overwhelmed right now and it's late but I think a little crafting will settle me down... either that or one of those huge Walmart chocolate bars!!

I thought maybe I should at least post a couple of layouts... the striped one I've just finished - the other I did awhile ago. Can you tell how much I love that daisy die/stamp!!

Family Tree

Finally! I am finally getting going on the family tree layouts I have been trying to get to for awhile... I seem to start and stop too much! I am duplicating, with a few changes, so both of my kids can have an album when I'm old and gray(er) and downsizing! Here is a couple:

These two layouts are of my great-grandmother on my mother's side - the information here is from my uncle who got the family tree started before he passed away.

This is the grandfather I never knew but luckily my uncle left a lot of information for me.

A long time ago I posted!

Wow... since getting on Facebook I have really let my blog slide! I've had a few 'dry' mojo spells lately so thought I'd make some cards to get going again. I made some of these while we were camping deep in the 'jungle'... no, not really but there was no cell coverage, no internet and no power!! Lucky for me, we had installed a solar power grid so I had light to scrap with while the rain poured down at night.
