Finally posting Day Crop pages

Back in September I attended a Day Crop. I got to finish up some long over due pages from my Brother and Sister-In-Laws Destination Hawaii Wedding...
I had given them the album with 12 of the 22 pages I completed back in June 2013 when we went back to visit in NJ. The pages in this post that had adjoining pages will be linked to the original posts. Click on those to check them out! If you use the "Labels" on the sidebar and Click "Wedding" it will pull up the rest!

Here is Page 8: Used the flowers from CTMH Extreme Happiness Stamp Set. Stamped and Fussy cut them.

Page 9: Toasting after the ceremony.

"Hang Ten" is page 12 was posted back in April of 2013. Click here to see!

Page 13 I used a Beach Wedding sticker from a Jolee's set to help form the stitched circle. Accented with Little Yellow Bicycle Naturals, a stamped cork piece and buttons. I left my stitching gear home so I still have to finish the circle.

Next is Page 14, which is Mother/Son page:
Stamped lines using a journal ledger stamp using White Pigment Ink on the Chocolate Cardstock. Accented with some Burlap. Also used the CTMH Extreme Happiness stamp and fussy cut the flowers.

The adjoining page Father/Son for Week #14 of the Liftateers Challenges in Jan. 2013. Click here to see! I added another photo to the page, but never took another photo of it before sending it to my Brother and Sister-In-Law!

Next is a double page LO, pages 16-17 was from a Goofy Photo Shoot on the Beach. The pictures were dark so I had a hard time trying to brightening them up while still using the same color theme.

Page 18 is another adjoining page that used more bright photos from the beach photo shoot. Click here to see the one I created back in Jan 2013.

Page 19 using the same stickers and accent pieces.

Page 20 -21: Individual Beach Shots and A Picture I need to enlarge.

Close-Up of the Fussy Cut Flowers

I still have to blow up the picture for the next page.

I wanted it to say "Always Kiss Goodnight" from the start of my creative process...Of course I couldn't find the saying at the crop and found Sweet Kisses which fit just as good! FYI: If your looking for that saying, "Always Kiss Goodnight" it is on the Wall Decals Cartridge.
I cut out the saying using the flocked paper at first but it was too busy. So I cut it out again using Kraft cardstock inked it up with Desert Sand ink, but kept the first letters in flocked.

Final Page in the album...

So happy that I am only 2 pages left to finish. Then it is on to my 3 month old nephews pages!

Paper Secrets SYAO - Round 2 - Week #54

This week's challenge was a combo from CSI blog Challenge.
Here is what I did:
There is no journaling because I am making the pages for my Brother and Sister-In-Law's Wedding album. Leaving the journaling to them since I was not in Hawaii for the wedding. But inspiration words:  soar, love, reflect would be forthcoming...

We were given this case to found and color combo:
At least 2 elements of evidence used: hearts, flowers, leaves/vines & solid background
At least 1 element of testimony: Document a love story & Add hearts to your journaling spot

Some close ups:

Liftateers - Week #12 & #14

Using the Liftateers Week #12
Here is mine, called Here comes the Bride

I am trying to keep the colors of Christine's theme and flowers through out. Used CTMH Pear, Cotton Candy, Chocolate & Cocoa inks.

Week #14

I do have another full body photo of my Dad and Brother without the hi-jinks I may add over top of the tiki hut. Since the opposite page is planned to use two photos of my Mom and Brother. No hi-jinks through it's more of a Motherly love type shot.
May add Hawaii under the word Destination and Flower

Fiskateers - CHA CHA Online Crop Challenges

Here are the ALL the challenges from the online crop. I didn't get to complete them all, BUT I did get to 6 of them. After each of the 6 challenge descriptions you'll see my cards for the Challenge.
So here we ....

January always seems to be a time for bridal shows, and wedding planning for all those newly engaged brides.  Let’s start the challenges off with an easy one….create a wedding card for the bride and groom.  Any color, any size, any tools, any shape let your creative go!

Cricut Cut Image, Handstamped mr. & mrs., handmade flower from a rose petal

February - the month for hearts and romance.  Your challenge is to make a Valentines card  that does not have any hearts or the word love on it.
Handstamped words, Chocolate stickers and embroidery floss

Have you check out the Design Team projects lately?  Well now is the time to MARCH on over there and see what wonderful inspiration you find.   Here is the link to the projects: http://www2.fiskars.com/Crafting/Projects.
You will find projects on sewing, cards, layouts, kids crafts, home décor and so much more.
Your challenge is to create something that inspired you from the design projects.  Let us know who inspired you and what their project was that inspired you.
Handstamped use Close To My Heart stamps (some fussy cut), variegated thread and mailed off to My Mom, who has it in a frame!!!!

APRIL SHOWERS! Think Baby, Bridal, Rain showers etc. Shower us with your use of at least 4 Fiskars tools on this project.  Please list the tools you used in your gallery description.
Fiskars Items Used: Fiskars Textured Templates & Tool, Postage Stamp Squeeze Punch(edge of umbrella), Fiskars Border Stamp Set & Ultra Shape Cutter with Oval Template.

Inked up the raindrops and used scrap for all of the papers on the card.

MAY FLOWERS! Since we know that April showers bring May flowers, use a Fikars tool to make a flower and then use it on your project.

Used Fiskars Ultra Shape Tool & Flower/Leaf Templates

Then layers alternating papers and glueing as I went.

JUNE BRIDES! Let's honor the June brides white wedding dress by creating an all white project. The only exception is that your title or sentiment can be a different color if you choose.

Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, mulberry paper, feathers, cut banner with birds, heart doily is part of a decorative garland compliments of Martha Stewart

TO BE COMPLETED - WHEN I NEED A CREATIVE SPARK!!!!
CHA CHA Challenge #7: July - Flags
Create a project using a FLAG . It can be a card- layout- tag-altered art-home décor—whatever suits your fancy. It can also be ANY type of FLAG – A state flag, country flag, garden flag, sports flag, holiday flag, birthday etc.  Please remember to post a pic of your creation in the gallery and then come back to this thread and leave a link to that gallery posting !  THANK YOU !
Create a handmade card with a handmade , matching/coordinating envelope. It can be of any theme/size-- but they both MUST be made by hand and not premade. Have you ever made an envelope out of an old calendar page? some pretty scrapbook paper ? Magazine page? Map? Lots of possibilities to go with the card you decide to make.
Some envelope tutorial sites ( in case you don’t have a template)
Back to school time. TAG you’re it ! Please, create one handmade tag with any theme, any shape or size. ....MUST include somethingorange and something green on it !
( Did you know this years Pantone color is Emerald Green ?)
Leaf it to October!  October makes me think of leaves.  So, make a creation that includes at least 5 leaves (same or different).  They don’t have to be fall leaves, or falling leaves---could be palm tree leaves if you want!
So thankful!  Create 3 different thank you card designs.  The 3 cards should be completely different from each other.  Address and mail them to someone as surprise happy mail. Share with us who/why you are sending them.
The holidays are always full of delicious food.  Follow this recipe to make a delicious scrapbook page layout…
