Easter Card Too

Happy Tuesday everyone! It has been a busy, long week at work and it is only Tuesday!! I have a lot to do and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.  But.. It will all work out. I'll get caught up. Tomorrow I am taking Michael to get his toe taken care of and working. I've been in bed early and haven't had a lot of Etsy time the last couple of days. I hope you all are having a great week!

And today I'm going to share another Easter card. This one I did in blue:

This is my Easter Card using Roses Cross from Delicious Doodles. I have used my Copic Markers to color the image. I've added a bit of clear Wink Of Stella and I've popped the roses and leaves. That is a bit of fussy cutting :)  For this card I went back into the scraps box and pulled out all the scraps of blue. I love being able to use scraps up! I've used some flowers and dew drops. I've also used some die cuts, embossing powder, embossing folder. I've done a small bit of stitching. The Happy Easter is stamped. I've inked a bit of paper with black and some with blue. I also used some vines that I cut a piece off of. The inside has a printed quote and I also added some dew drops to it as well.

COPIC MARKERS USED:
  • Wood: E30, E24, E44, E47
  • Cross Edge: Y00, Y11, Y15, YR23, YR24
  • Leaves: YG11, YG13, YG17

Quirky Christmas

Evening everyone!! It is just about time for bed I think. And I'm cold! So I need to be all snuggled up and watching a movie I think LOL  It has been a pretty relaxed weekend here. We have just hung out. Kevin worked on his trike and I have crafted. My youngest daughter got in big trouble this weekend, but we are past that. She is grounded for the week and I hope she learned her lesson. We went to my mother's this morning to help her with her cable box, but it did not end up working in the end. They are going to send another one out. I'll see if we can get that one working once it gets there.

I've made a list for Kevin and Bailey to work on Monday and Tuesday. A list of things to get for Thanksgiving. They have to pick up the Ham on Tuesday. Michael's birthday is Wednesday, so I've also made a list of some things to get for that. I work on Monday and Tuesday, so I have a lot to get done at work over the next couple of days. And in the morning it is supposed to be 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Cold for me on the bike!! I have a bunch of clothes to get layered up hehehe!!

Okay.. here is my card I created for Quirky Christmas as a Guest Designer:

I've used Mixie from That Craft Place Ltd. I think she is adorable. I've colored her with my Copic markers. The gold on the stars and on the dress are glitter gold embossing powder from WOW. All of the papers are scraps. I've added some gold thread and the charm at the top. I've done a bit of layering on the image. I've added a small bit of stitching as well. I've added some pink gems on the sentiment I created. The wings I used some Wink of Stella, white and pink.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04
  • Blue: B0000, B000, B01, B02, B04

Little Shepherd

Good evening everyone! It is quiet around the house tonight. Bailey is spending the night with a friend and Michael is working. Kevin was working downstairs on his bike for a while and I have been happily crafting and getting a post ready for a blog hop tomorrow. That has been my night :) I hope you all are having a nice day/evening. It is going to be a cold one tonight here. And it is only 8 pm and I'm ready for bed LOL How sad is that! But getting up at 4 am kind of does that to you.  Okay... I'm here to post this card for today:

For this card I have used To Warm The Hearts. This was a Facebook Freebie from Mari Digi's. I just fell in love with it and knew I wanted to create a Christmas Card with it. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I did a bit of layering. The background was created with chalk. I also used a white gel pen to create snow on that background. The top of the image I used Gold UTEE. The papers are all scraps, so I have no idea who they are from. It is great to be using the scraps up though! I hope I can keep at it! I added some stitching around the rectangles at the bottom. I've added some lace and a strip of pearls. The sentiment is Paper Smooches and I used Gold Glitter Embossing Powder from WOW on it. I also added the red Candi. On the inside I used the same papers and a couple more red Candi to finish it off and that is it! :D

Copic Markers Used:
  • Eyes: E31, E35, E37
  • Hair: E21, E25, E29
  • Robe and Shoes: E50, E51, E53, E55

Christmas Birdbrain!.

Good morning everyone. It has been a great weekend. It was all rainy yesterday and getting colder. It was wonderful!! Bailey is feeling better, so she just hung out at home, cleaned up a bit, did her laundry. Michael worked all day. Kevin and I watched racing... V8's and MotoGP this weekend. We watched the short V8 races yesterday and the MotoGP practices and qualifying. This morning we are watching the final V8 race, then we will watch the MotoGP races. We have to watch the Moto3 to see if Kent gets the championship. I'm hoping he does it, but it seems like nerves have got him in a bind or something these last few weeks. And then of course the MotoGP race. I also did a bit of crafting yesterday. I was able to get a few cards finished. It was a good day! I'm hoping to get a bit of crafting done today too, because Monday just comes way too fast! And once Monday arrives it is so much harder to get any real crafting done. I wish I could spend my days crafting instead of working LOL!!  Oh well!!

Have a great rest of your weekend everyone!! Here is my card for today:

For this card I have used Deck The Halls which is the Digital Stamp of the Month from From The Heart. I just love these Birdbrains! I've colored it with Copic Markers. I used some charcoal to ground the image. I've added some Wink of Stella to the ornaments. The Merry Christmas is a Paper Smooches stamp that was stamped with Versamark Ink and then embossed with WOW Green Glitter Embossing Powder. I've added a few shiny dew drops. The bottom is a border die from My Favorite Things I believe. I've added some red gems to that. I've also inked the edges of the paper and the die cut. On the inside I've added the wonderful sentiment that was part of the Deck The Halls set. I've inked those papers as well. I've added some additional dew drops to bring it all in together.

Copic Markers Used:
  • Bird: Y00, Y11, Y15, Y18
  • Gold Ball: Y11, Y15, YR23, YR24
  • Silver Ball: C1, C3, C5

Kitty Christmas*

Good morning everyone!! It has been a heck of a month!!  I can't believe we are almost finished with October!!  That is just crazy! Halloween is a week away.. not that we celebrate LOL but a week away!!  My kids are too big now... they do parties or hang out with their friends. Michael will be working on Halloween! I'm sure that will be a busy day/evening!! With all of the kids activities and getting Open-Minded Crafting Fun ready for launch in January, it has been a busy month. Today is Bailey's last Fall Lacrosse game, so there won't be any running around to games for a bit.

Today I plan on just having a relaxing, craft and race filled day at home! Michael has to go to work later in the morning, but after that I shouldn't have to go anywhere! We have the V8 race today...qualifying, the Top 10 Shootout and one race I believe. Then we also have free practice 3 and 4 and qualifying for the MotoGP riders. It will be a great day!!

If you are interested in a Design Team, consider visiting Open-Minded Crafting Fun for the DT Call. We are looking for six (6) additional members. We would LOVE to have you come join our team!! One more week on the DT Call. It will end on the 31st.

Here is my card today:

This card uses Mistletoe Kitty from Imagine That!. This adorable little Christmas Cat is the October Digi Image of the Month. Hmmm... I just realized I forgot to glitter that bell! LOL I'll have to go back and do that! I added some poinsettia stickers on the top corner. All of the papers are from my scrap box. I made a scrap box of Christmas scraps LOL I thought I would go ahead and separate them so it would be easier for me to go through them. The papers are silver and black/gray. Off for Christmas colors. I added in the bit of red and green as well. The adorable Kitty is colored with my Copic Markers. I added a bit of twine and gems. Around the die cut cat I used some Aged Silver Embossing Powder from Stampendous. The die is from My Favorite Things. I also embossed the strip of silver with the twine wrapped around it. The stamps on the outside and inside are Fun 'N' Flair Stamps - "Miss Shayla at Christmas Time". I added a bit of glitter to the hat and I'm going to add that glitter to that bell too!! :D  Have a great day everyone!! And Thanks for looking!!

GeArS gEaRs GeArS!!.

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm hoping to get some crafting done today. I need to do a little bit of work at some point today as well. I'm running out of cards to show though! It takes me such a long time to color and create a card. Oh well! Even if it takes me a long time, I do enjoy it so much! I'm so happy that I have been able to create again. I was beginning to think that my creativeness would never come back!

Kevin and his dad did a day trip to North Carolina yesterday and they were gone all day. And Kevin has been begging me to make this meal with Spaghetti Squash, but I hadn't been able to find the recipe. While they were gone yesterday I really looked hard and I eventually found it. When I did I ran out to the store to grab the ingredients and made that for dinner to surprise him. This is a recipe from a Bariatric blog and she has some amazing recipes on there.  While I worked, I cooked.

Friday was a busy night too. Michael had work right after school. I ran him to work and then came home and finished the dinner. Bailey wanted to go to the first High School home football game at Allatoona High School, so I ran her there. Then it was waiting to pick everyone up. Kevin and I watched the MotoGP practice sessions while we waited and I worked on a card. I have to multi task LOL!

Here is what I have come up with for today!

I love this image. It has been colored up in my drawer for a while. I know I colored her with Copic Markers, but I do not know which ones. The background was cut with the Silhouette Cameo. The gears border and the individual gears are dies that I cut. Then I took those and used Bronze Embossing Powder to cover them. I used metallic tape around the edge of the card and around the rectangle in the center. I added some additional gears on the inside. No sentiment on this card.

Otters!!.

Good morning everyone! Oh Happy Days!!! It is Friday! Finally Friday!! LOL  Woot! Today I have some running around to do at work, which means I will leave around noon or so. Other than that I'll get my walking done in the morning (45 minutes) and then another 30 minutes at lunch time. We are not doing a whole lot this weekend. I'm taking my two girls and my mother to the Major League Lacrosse game that will be here in Kennesaw. It is the championship game! I'm really excited! Oh.. and they are announcing the expansion team that will be coming to Georgia today too. All kinds of Lacrosse excitement LOL That's it though.. other than that I'm just going to chill around the house and craft I hope! Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!

I LOVE otters! Here is my creation for today:

For this card, the image was colored with my copic markers. It was done so long ago I can't remember what I used. I cut the butterflies and the flowers. The flowers actually are two different types of flowers. The middle has a rolled rose in it. I added some stickles to the edge of the flowers and butterflies. There are pearls on the butterflies as well. The circle under the flowers was cut using the Cameo; it was a circle of leaves. I added two pieces of washi tape .. that is the blue banner cut tape. I also added some twine and the butterfly charm. On the image, I covered the cattails with clear glass balls which added some texture. I used clear UTEE at the bottom on the water to give it a shimmer and make it really look like water. There are even some "splashes" on the otter :)  To finish it off I added some sequins in blue shades. I also added the sequins to the inside to finish it off.

Happy New Year everyone! Here is to wishing you all a very Happy 2015!!  We are starting off the year with a new home! I couldn't be more excited!! Hopefully, we will be closing towards the end of January!

And to start off the New Year, we are onto our first challenge at The East Wind and it is our Freebie Challenge using UnkyToon Can You Fly!

Love this little witch! Love UnkyToons :)  And I thoroughly enjoyed coloring her! So, I colored her with my Copic Markers. I added a little bit of sparkle on the stars and I used some Aged Ivory Embossing Enamel around the edge of the Spellbinders oval die that I used. I used all scraps on this card. I'm going to try to work really hard at using scraps this year! I need to get rid of some! I used some black glitter paper at the top. I also added the blue spotted brads, the i miss u stamp and the white star buttons. Since this is a Button Up Challenge, I had to make sure to get some of those on there :)  And I thought the stars would be perfect to go along with the night sky. I also added a little bit of stitching as well. And that's it!
