Nuts About You!*

Good morning again! I have a lot to do today.. so I'm working away, but I wanted to get this one scheduled to post :)  I'm looking so forward to being off for the next few days!! And I think the weather is going to get cool! I love that!! Have a great rest of your day everyone!!!

Here is my card:









For this one I've used Found It from Di's Digi's. The image is printed on kraft and colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. There was a small amount of layering and the acorn I covered in Diamond Glaze. The card is a rocker that I cut with the Silhouette Cameo. I used all scrap papers for this card. I was able to use up a bit of fall colors with all the die cutting :)  I cut several colors and a couple of patterned papers for the rectangles layered behind the image cut. Then I cut all sorts of leaves. All of the dies are from My Favorite Things. I inked everything with Sepia ink. The sentiment I created and printed.

Christmas Angel with Harp*

Good morning everyone!  Happy Labor Day :)  I hope everyone has had a nice long weekend! I have been crafting. Kevin and I went for a little ride on the bikes yesterday morning, but other than that we have just been hanging out. I think my Father-in-Law is a bit nervous about his trip back home, so we have been taking it easy. It is a LONG day ahead for him in the air. It is a long trip from Georgia to Australia! He leaves this evening, so I'll be crafting until we head to the airport.

Here is my Christmas card for today:











I've used Harp Angel from Di's Digi Designs. I colored her with Copic Markers and did a small bit of layering. I added some clear Wink of Stella to the colored harp. I also added gold Wink of Stella to the star and her halo. All of the papers, except for the card base, are scraps and I cut all the card pieces with my Silhouette Cameo. I embossed the white in the background with some clouds. I added a bit of yellow ribbon and the gems around the card. I also added a bit of yellow stitching on the top. The Joy To The World is stamped. I decorated the inside so that it was easier to write on the easel card.

Fowl of All Kinds.. errr.. well... Birds! at Open-Minded Crafting Fun.

Good morning!

Today is the midway post for Challenge #23 at Open-Minded Crafting Fun!! The winners from Challenge #22 are posted this morning and you can come back for the midway post at noon! We want to see your fowl... or just your birds.. any birds! We have some great sponsors for this challenge and we want to thank them all SO VERY much!!!



And here is my creation for the Midway Post at Open-Minded:








For this I used Lisbeth on a Swing from MilkCoffee Stamps. I colored the image with Copic Markers. I used several dies for this card.. the border at the bottom, the actual shape of the card, the cut around the image and the flowers as well. The flowers are My Favorite Things I think.. I'm not sure what the bottom border is. The die around the image is Spellbinders and the card was cut using the Cameo. I added some stickles to the maroon flowers to add some sparkle to them. I used gems for the centers of the flowers and small yellow gems on the side of the image. I distressed the edge of the patterned paper. I did do a little bit of decoupage. I popped the birds, her hands and her legs.
