I Love ARROW!

I've been doing the Scrappin' Moms' challenge eversince week 1, but this week's challenge is one of the best... the power of arrows! Its week 16 and I made 2 layouts for my boys. Still catching up with their pages and here goes...

Chuy's Braces Experience... His braces was out since February this year. I'm glad we no longer have the monthly checkups in the middle of this pandemic. Inside the plastic pocket on stripes are his actual brackets given to me by his dentist, Dra, Chochay Ilagan-Bautista. I used We R Memory Keeper pps, cardstock, a journaling card, DMC threads, chipboard, foam and cork arrows, and some white paint. I enjoyed doing this page because of the arrows, it gives directions to the page and makes a great boy layout.

Luigi's NYC Experience... this is one experience of a lifetime, the feel of New York City. I'm glad my kids saw this before the pandemic, because I do not know when we can be back to NYC. I used here a white cardstock, assorted pps scraps, washi tapes, Memories Mist yellow ink, Kaisercraft paints, Ranger distress inks, Fancy Pants transparent letters, buttons, chipboard, foam and cork arrows, and DMC threads. Even my journals are arrows too!

It's my first weekend without work... At first I enjoyed the "stay at home" idea of ECQ, GCQ and MECQ. I get to do home chores and house projects, cook, pray and deal with my anxiety. After 2 months, I was on a "work from home" mode, where I finished all my tasks as a teacher and a program head. Now, I don't have official functions for the coming 45 days. I wanted to rest, relax and recharge! So this is keeping me up... and I'm loving it pa rin!

TFL! Let us cherish our memory making moments...

C R E A T E more...

I have been scrapping since the lockdown. I am DONE with Georgina's bulk of photos and now I am working on my two boys' available printed photos. I must say that I was not prepared for this ECQ, I have not even sorted their photos and journals. My Project Life is also on hold.

But I am still scrapping and I am so thankful for Scrappin' Moms' weekly challenges. Here are my week 7 and 8 outputs.

Turning 7: The 7th week challenge was to scraplift a page. I decided to scraplift this wonderful page of a dear friend Cookie Aguilar, who is now based in Australia. This is Georgina's 7th birthday pictorial. I used here assorted printed papers, cardstocks, DMC threads, buttons, Prima flowers, stickers and foam sheets for the titles.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas: The 8th week challenge was the use of checkered papers and a sketch. I do not have Christmas checkered papers!!! But this won't stop me for this challenge. The photo was taken during the Virtucio's Christmas Party at my cousins Janice and Bugoy's home in 2018. Hubby was not able to come home because of work and we missed him for this photo opp. I used here Basic Grey paper, assorted patterned scraps, DMC threads, washi tape and a poinsettia embellishment.

And ECQ continues on its 8th week here in the Philippines. Thankful for the time spent at home-- organizing, cleaning, making home projects, reflecting and praying for everyone's safety.

Thanks for looking peeps! Keep safe.

Do What Your Heart Says, anak!

Thank you Scrappin' Moms' for reviving the passion for papers and memories! I can't believe its the 6th week of Enhanced Community Quarantine scrapping and I was able to submit entries and at the same time, finish more and more backlogs. This time, I did Luigi's graduation photos. I am just a proud Mom, looking at the many years you were in school and finally, telling me that you are graduating. Do what your heart desires, my son...

I used here strips and scraps of papers (Scenic Route, Chater Box, DCWV and We R Memory Keeper to name a few), chipboards, DMC threads, buttons, baker's twine, photo corners, tags, Ranger distress inks and Memories Mist sprays. So don't throw your scraps, this is a good way to use them to create more pages.

TFL!
