Happy Hearts' Day!

It was a work day for me! But it was okay, at least I was out of the house, breathe a different kind of air and used the other side of me. It was okay, I didn't have a dinner date or flowers and chocolate gifts. But instead I treated myself for something I really LOVE... a pair of new shoes and some scrap stuff! Hubby was away from home and my boys doesn't care about the day, so in short it was just an ordinary day in my life. But with these goodies to lift up my spirits!

I broke my cutting pad last Saturday! I normally spend my mornings cutting my titles, good thing I can still use it slowly, but of course it needs replacement at once. I ordered at once and was delivered on Valentine's day.

I'm on my 108th page for my assignment update! It feels great to know that I only have 11 pockets or approximately 20 pages left to play with. Will take a little rest after this first assignment for the year. We are planning to celebrate little Chuy's birthday elsewhere. School is roughly 6 weeks to go, I don't know if I will be happy for that because I'm sure I'm gonna miss teaching for the whole summer. Just taking things easy for now...

Have to go, tomorrow is another race! Thanks for looking as always!

At this point, I want to THANK ate Marisa and ate Nette for coming up with another successful SCRAPJAM! I am so thankful to be part of the Organizing Committee and to be a Design Team Member of Scrapbooks Hawaii. To my Co-DTs Yoyin Malig and Alby Laran, and to Cookie and Donna whom I miss so much. Speak...

... that was the theme during the layout challenge last Scrapfest 7. Challenge required 3 photos of you and used up all the stash on the challenge kit. It was about 3 in the afternoon that Friday before the Scrapfest when I shoot these photos, I had to set my cam on timer since there was nobody to take pictures of me. You can just imagine me running back and forth in setting the timer and giving a pose, hahaha! I wanted to show the different faces of me but I ended up making fun of myself, para akong sira just to have some decent photos. And so, here's the output...

Speak Your Heart... Patterned papers (which I forgot the name of the manufacturer!), Bazill cardstock, foam diecut letters, AC Thickers foam letters, MM acrylic paint, glittered glue, chipboard wings, 7 Gypsies journaling card, brads, buttons, ricrac, DMC thread, Prima flower and Colorbox fluid chalk ink. Thanks for my title, Timi!

My Shopping Treat! I spent more than a thousand for papers, PAPERS and papers like Scenic Route, Webster Pages, DCWV and October Afternoon, just 1 pack of AC Thickers letters, a Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glass, and an A2Z Scraplets chipboard swirl. Yan lang and lots of FUN digging them! I haven't unpack them yet until now, hoping to play with them soon!

Thanks for looking!

rush! RUSH! rush!

Just finished these invites this morning! Its so simple I guess, I just used here some pps, calling card board sheets, dv flowers, chalk inks and pigment inks, buttons and DMC thread which I used to sew each of the buttons... whew! Its finally done... I'm sure, Mom will be happy to give them to her dancing guests. I was looking for a high-heeled shoe pattern instead of the flower, but she said her guests might not come if they will know that there's dancing, they might get shy huh!? Well, whatever... basta I'm done with my first assignment!

TFL as always!

Habol pa sa summmer... I went to Bohol last June 2-4 with my Tita Elsa, cousins Gale and Angelo, Arlen and my boy Luigi. The first day was spent travelling from Manila to Tagbilaran and then a whole day tour around the province of Bohol. We visited several landmarks like the Blood Compact statues, Baclayon Church, the Tarsiers, lunch at Loboc River and the famous Chocolate Hills.

Then, the last stop was the Dumaluan Beach Resort where we checked in for 2 nights. It was surprising to meet Cesar Montano, Sunshine Cruz and Bayani Agbayani early Wednesday morning. Buboy was so nice and friendly, oh well he is running for Governor of Bohol this coming election that's why he was there attending seminars and campaigns.

I'm not so much of a beach person... but I fell in love with Bohol's beach! White, smooth and clean sand, fresh air and warm people. Take a look...

Best of all.. I was connected! My favorite spot at the beach front had a free wifi connection, so Gale and I spent so much time laying there until lights turned off at night...hehehe! Look here, I was laying 4 steps away from Buboy while he was having breakfast.

And then, its was time to say goodbye to Bohol! We took the 11:35am ferry going back to Cebu via Ocean Jet, nice trip unlike the first one. Then our flight, PR850 going back to Manila was super delayed. It was a rough flight because of heavy rains, the plane went around Metro Manila before it took its final landing. Luigi had a great time I guess, it was his first plane ride kaya di nya alam na nakakatakot yung landing.

My special thanks to my Tita Elsa and Arlen, it was such a wonderful experience! Hmmm... I think I will start saving up for next year's visit to Bohol, I promise to be back when Buboy becomes the next Governor! Hehehe...joke! Byahe na kayo, its worth spending for!

Thanks for looking peeps!

She's leaving today!

We had a date with Joanne Yap yesterday! Ate Liezl, Cors and I met her at Starbucks, Ayala Town Center in Alabang... umaatikabong girls and scrappy talks, a lot of catching up for not seeing each other for almost a year, I guess. Then we went to her house in Pilar to see little Jorell, watch Pacquiao's short fight and had lunch, of course! Bye-bye time was so hard, no more crying ha... because I'm sure I'm gonna miss this lady, my friend, my critic and my boss. Thanks for the wonderful time yesterday... have a safe trip Joanne!

Happy Easter Everyone...

I am sooo happy today! Hehehehe.... Hallelujah! The LB Scrapaholics family celebrated the 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt this afternoon infront of the Humanities building where you can find the Oblation statue. As usual we had the annual family shoot, too bad hubby wasn't able to come, but that's okay... we enjoyed the shoot anyway! I want to thank BILL for the pictorial, patience and time. Let me share some photos of the fun event...
