Farm Fresh Friday - Let it SNOW!

Another Farm Fresh Friday, WOW, time really does fly when you're having fun! ;)
I loved being part of the previews, SO much FUN!! Did you girls get your fave stamps already?
This week's challenge is to use some kind of snow or snow element (snowflakes, liquid applique, glitter, flowersoft, etc.) on your project this week!

I used another sentiment from the newly released sentiment set 'Because of You' (LOVE these!!), I wanted to show how versatile they really are by using one of the stamps for a non traditional Christmas card. Hope you like it! The 'snow element' on my card is the patterned paper (it has little snow flakes on it) & the snowflake cut outs)

Don't forget to play along this week, the prize is the new & cuddly Oliver & Amelia 'Fuzzy Wuzzy'-a FULL 4x6 set!

For more Farm Fresh inspiration, check out the blogs of my teammates:

TGF December preview - Because of You!

Hey Farm Friends!

It's been a while since there's been a sentiment-only set on the Farm, and after MANY requests by all of you out there in blog-land, we are previewing a BRAND NEW SENTIMENT set today, "Because of You". This whimsical and fun-fonted set comes complete with that feeling of warm-fuzzies.

To show you just how adorable these new sentiments are, we've decided to show you some preview projects today using ONLY a sentiment as the focal point. Be sure to check out the TGF Blog AND the Club Anya & Friends blog as well for some GREAT ideas and heartfelt hugs :)

I created two cards with a similar layout but with different papers/colors. A little out of my comfort zone, but SO much fun!! LOVE working with these sentiments, they're AWESOME!! I used one of the sentiments too on my Tank card last Friday.
Hope you like my cards! (Sorry for the bad quality pictures, we had bad weather over here, I'll to replace them with better ones!!)

Thanks for stopping by today, and oh...there's ONE more little thing. ONE of the DT members (is it a Farmer? Guest Designer? Team Anya member? hmmmm....) has a "Because of You" set hidden on their blog today! Be sure to stop by and see their beautiful projects and ONE lucky winner will be announced tomorrow during our "HOPPIN' into the HOLIDAYS" Blog Hop, beginning at 7pm CST on the TGF Blog!

For this card I dusted off my pencils, wow, hadn't used them for a long longgg time.. not since I discovered Copics! I wanted to try something different and decided to colour on kraft cardstock, first time I tried it and it was fun!
I love to use bright colours, but for this card I decided to use different shades of brown. Every now and then it's fun to challenge ourselves, right? :)

The image I used is the adorable 'Little Doctor' by Whiff of Joy.

Whiff of Joy - Dance with your Heart

Since I found out a little over a week ago that my 4 year old daughter has to have surgery I completely lost my mojo. I'm so very worried about it. I know it's a very common operation, she needs to have her tonsils & adenoids removed and tubes put into both her ears (hope I've 'said' it right, had to translate it to English).
Anyway, it totally s#cks!! We have to wait until July 6th for the surgery too.

For the card I made I used three different stamps and a sentiment stamp all of them are by Whiff of Joy, I combined stamps from the April kit - Scheharezade
(1001 nights) & the May store stamp kit - Aladin (1001 nights). I masked the images, thought it would look cool to have all the pretty bellydancers on one card :) LOVE how you can combine the stamps from these two kits!!
The card looks way better IRL, for some reason it was hard to photograph.

Challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Say it with flowers
Charisma Cardz - 3D
A Spoonful of Sugar - Cute & Girly

Recipe:

Papers: My Minds Eye; Ooh la la for her

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Whiff of Joy - Wish Big & Mothersday Special

I recently received the gorgeous Whiff of Joy May store stampkit 'Aladin - 1001 nights' and it goes perfectly with the Whiff of Joy April kit 'Scheherazade - 1001 nights'.

For this card I used the male genie in a bottle from the May kit, and the female genie from the April kit. The sentiment is also from the May kit.
I thought the sentiment worked perfectly with this card, the more genies, the bigger the wishes, LOL!!

Now I have something to show you my sweet little girl made me for Mothersday.
Isn't it gorgeous? It even has a cute little picture of her on it. I LOVE it!! She did such a great job don't you agree? :)

Speaking of mothersday,
to make mothersday even more special Katharina is offering a 20% off voucher for Whiff of Joy, which is valid for May 9th (=mothersday) minimum order value is 10 Euros.
So if you want to get yourself something small for your special day, or if your kids/husband still need a present -> this is the chance!

I'm back with another cutie of Whiff of joy's new 'Get Well' collection. These stamps are such a pleasure to work with and such a joy to colour!

The stamp I used here is called 'Little nurse' she reminds me so much of my little girl walking around the house playing doctor and checking everyone out to make sure they're all healthy and feeling well, lol. So sweet!

I'm entering this card in to this weeks 'Creative Card Crew Challenge' there are flowers on the dp I used & the little gems I used on the green dp are flowers too - hope that counts!

Get Well Soon! - Whiff of Joy

Another card with the new awesome Whiff of Joy 'Get Well' collection. I truly LOVE it! The image I used for this card is called 'Sick Henry'.

Now I know Henry is a very manly mouse and this card is rather pink, but he assured me he doesn't mind his image to be used on the more feminine cards, lol!

My mojo left me while I was working on this card. Everything I tried to put on it just seemed wrong! Ugh. And then I used a white rub-on for a sentiment, you can barely see it on the picture, it's on the left hand corner if you look realy hard you might be able to spot it! it says 'Get well soon' . Darn rub-ons, lol.
I am pleased with the way littly Henry turned out, he looks so cute in that colour, lol.

I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:

- Sunday Sketch & Stamp: Sketch
- A Spoonfull of Sugar: Furry Friends
- Everybody Art Challenge: Pastel Colours

Recipe:

Papers: Cosmo Cricket

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Whiff of Joy challenge #75

I love this weeks challenge on the WoJ challenge blog - Yellow, Green with another choice of your own! I went with orange. Nice and springy colours, perfect for this time of year!

The image I used is also perfect for this time of year, I used
one of the smaller exclusive stamps you get for free when you spend 50 euros or more at Whiff of Joy, but it can also be found in the february stamp kit - in normal size.
I really love this image, isn't it beautiful?

I decided to keep my card simple, didn't want to cover the background to much, and with such a lovely image, the card doesn't need much more, don't you agree?
;)

If you want to know how I created the background, check out my - first ever!! - tutorial over at the Whiff of Joy Inspirations & Tutorial blog!

Recipe:

Papers: My Minds Eye; Bloom & Grow

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Ink: Memento, Colorbox
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Embellishments: Gems; Melissa Francess
Tools: Embossing folder; Cuttlebug

Whiff of Joy challenge #74

Here's a card I created with a background stamp of the GORGEOUS Whiff of Joy april kit - Scheherazade (1001 nights). Don't you just love this kit? I really think it's amazing. Everytime I think the WOJ stamps just can't get any better and everytime they just proof me wrong!

This stunning background stamps deserved to be on a card all by itself to show of how gorgeous it really is! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

For my card I followed the sketch on the 'Whiff of Joy' challenge blog. I loved it!! I flipped the sketch and it worked perfectly with this image.
The papers I used are really busy (as is my live these days, lol), but I think it works. I used gold embossing powder on the swirls and LOVE how they turned out.

Don't forget to check out the WOJ challenge blog this week for a chance to win the ENTIRE kit!!! How's that for a amazing prize!

Whiff of Joy - GDT call

I saw on Katharina's blog that she was having another GDT call for Whiff of Joy and I wanted to join immediately, but then I saw that we had to use a recipe to create our card YIKES, those are me least favorite challenge's (and that's putting it mildly), I usually don't even bother to join in when I see one of those, 'cuz I never seem to can make it work. But this time I just HAD to try, I mean, I've never missed a WOJ GDT call since I started making cards and it is still my dream to get the GD spot one day, so here goes nothing.. ;)

I used one of the small (exclusive) Whiff of Joy stamps and made a cute little 10cm x 10cm card.

The recipe was: 1 cardstock, 2 design paper, 1 button, 1 ribbon.

Hope you like my card, fingers crossed!!

Papers: My Minds Eye

Stamp: Whiff of Joy
Colour medium: Copic Sketch Markers

Oh, Alice! - CHAPTER TWO: Running in a SKETCHY circle...

Here's another card I made, I'm not too happy about it, think I lost my mojo!
Ugh. Don't you hate it when that happens?!
Was actually thinking about NOT showing it on my blog lol. But I used this weeks 'Oh, Alice!' sketch and as it is a new challenge blog (this is their 2nd week) I REALLY wanted to play along to show the girls my support!

Not to mention, today is THE day the new 'Alice in Wonderland' movie is coming to the theaters in the US!!
We'll have to wait until March 10th over here, but for a while it looked like the European theaters weren't going to show the movie, but I'm glad that drama is over!! Thank GOD!! 'Cuz I Can't WAIT to see it, I'm dragging hubby to go see it next weekend FOR SURE!!

Whiff of Joy challenge #66

My sister asked me if I could make a card for a male friend of her who's turning 26 today 26. She needed the card yesterday and asked she asked me tuesday night (talk about last minute!!)

Now, you have to know that making a card for a man isn't something I like to do (that's putting it mildly, lol!) and I don't think I'm good at it and then, to top it all off I lost my mojo! So I decided I'd wait 'till wednesday to make the card.

Good thing I did too, cuz wednesday morning I received my WOJ order and 'Cool Oakley' came to the rescue!! I ordered some stamps that were on my wishlist for quite some time now and three of stamps of the new 'City Girls' collection, I love LOVE LOVE this new collection!! Oh, and I just saw on Katharina's blog that I've won a stamp called 'Willow with champagne' she is one of the 2 I didn't order, so I'm soooo happy that I won her, now I only have one more 'City Girl' on my wish list!! WOOHOOOOOO... Thank you so much Katharina, you rock girl!!

All right, enough of my babbling, and on to the card, lol!
My sister picked up the card and she loved it, thank goodness. Hopefully her friend will too!

I used this weeks sketch on the 'Whiff of Joy challenge' blog for my card!

Thank you for stopping by!
