WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE

I have had several request about how to do the watercolor technique on my watercolor birthday card. Here is ho to do it.   You wet your watercolor paper with water then lay cheesecloth over it, you then drip different colors of your watercolors (mixed with water) from your brush, a little at a time to get the look you want. Let it dry then remove the cheesecloth. You can do this with tall grasses, weeds and seeds too. Let dry, then remove and or brush off weeds and seeds. I did one and it turned out beautiful, a watercolor painting of tall grasses. I need to mat and frame it. It is about 2 ft. long and 1 ft. wide.  Another technique is to wet your watercolor paper add color and sprinkle with grains of salt. I hope you have as much fun trying these techniques as I did! Have a great day!
