3D Alice In Wonderland Shadowbox Box.

Hallo Allemaal,
Vandaag wil ik iets laten zien waar ik erg trots op ben!
Ik heb deze Shadowbox doos namelijk helemaal zelf gemaakt van karton.
Ik heb het deksel voorzien van een dubbele bodem,
en hier in heb ik een 3D Alice In Wonderland tafereel gemaakt.
Verder heb ik de doos aangekleed zodat deze een beetje op een taart lijkt...
Dat leek me wel een leuk idee met een tea-party in gedachte.
Ik weet nog niet wat ik in de doos wil doen?!
Misschien een miniboekje voor foto's ofzo.
Maar zodra ik daar uit ben en iets gemaakt heb voor in de doos.
Laat ik jullie dit natuurlijk zo snel mogelijk ook zien!

Hello Everybody,
Today I want to show you guys something I am rather proud of!
Because I've made this shadowbox box totally from scratch.
I've made a double bottom for the lid of the box,
and placed a 3D Alice In Wonderland scene inside.
Further I decorated the box to make it look like a cake.
I figured that was cool with the whole tea-party in mind.
I'm still not sure what I want to put inside the box?!
Maybe a mini album for photos or something.
But I promise to show you all as soon as I figure that one out!

Cupid Pin-up Girl Altered Frame.

Hallo Allemaal,

Op deze vrijdag de 13e... hooeeeeeeee!!! :)

Wil ik jullie een houten lijstje laten zien dat ik ge-altered heb.

Ik heb eerst de digitale stempel van het Cupido Pin-up meisje in 3D opgewerkt.

Het houten lijstje heb ik eerst wit geschilderd met Gesso.

Nicole van Kalsbeek-Verkooijen was zo lief om wat sjablonen voor mij te snijden met de Silhouette Cameo.

(Smakkkk... nogmaals voor mijn super sjablonen Nicole)

Daarna heb ik rode acryl verf gemengd met grunge paste.

Door de gekleurde paste over het sjabloon te smeren kreeg ik de gave rode hartjes erop.

Daarna heb ik het kant en de bloemen op het lijstje vast gemaakt.

Als laatste heb ik mijn 3D Pin-up op het frame bevestigd met wat foamtape.

Ik hoop dat jullie deze net zo leuk vinden geworden als ik!

Hello Everybody,

On this friday the 13th... hooeeeeeeee!!! :)

I want to show you a wooden frame I've altered.

First I've 3D-ed the digital stamp of the cute Cupid Pin-up girl.

For a video tutorial on how I do this technique just click HERE and HERE!

I have painted the wooden frame in white with Gesso.

Nicole van Kalsbeek-Verkooijen was so sweet to cut me some templates with the Silhouette Cameo.

(Mwahhh... again for the awesome templates Nicole)

After that I mixed some red acrylic paint with grunge paste.

When I smeared the coloured paste over the template it gave the frame these cool red hearts.

Then I added the lace and flowers to the frame.

Finally I placed my 3D Pin-up onto the frame with some foamtape.

I hope you like this one as much as I do!

Hallo Allemaal,

Vandaag wil ik jullie een lamp laten zien die ik ge-alterd heb!

Ik heb bij de kringloop winkel een oude lamp gekocht voor 2 euro en daar deze lamp van gemaakt.

Ik heb het armatuur los gehaald en heb mijn lieve man gevraagd om in elk boek een gat te boren.

Daarna heb ik het armatuur van de lamp door de boeken getrokken en vast gezet.

Als pootjes onder het onderste boek heb ik wat oude knopen genomen die ik gestapeld heb.

Daarna heb ik de lampenkap (die eerst gewoon creme kleurig was) beplakt.

Hiervoor heb ik boekpapier uit een oud woordenboek gebruikt.

Als laatste heb ik de randen van de lampenkap beplakt met een kanten randje en jute touw.

Ik vind hem zelf erg gaaf geworden, maar ben heel benieuwd wat jullie vinden?!

Hello Everybody,

Today I want to show you all a lamp I altered!

I went to the thriftshop and bought me an old lamp for only 2 euro's and made this lamp.

First I took apart the armature of the lamp and asked my hubby to drill a hole in every book.

After that I've pulled the armature through the holes in the books and secured it.

For legs under the bottom book I used some old buttons that I stacked.

Then I covered the lampshade that used to be plain creme coloured.

For this I used the pages out of an old dictionary.

Finally I added some lace trims around the lampshade and some burlap rope.

I think this turned out pretty awesome, but I am curious on what you all think of this one?!

Mo Manning Rubik's Cube and Box.

Hallo Allemaal,

De mensen die mij op mijn Facebook volgen hebben hier al eerder een sneak preview van gezien.

Maar nu deze helemaal klaar is en het doosje ook is gemaakt wordt het tijd het geheel te showen!

Ik heb deze keer een simpele Rubik's Kubus gepimpt (voor zover een Rubik's Kubus simpel kan zijn).

Ik had dit ergens gezien met foto's maar ik wilde er een met zelf gekleurde Mo Manning digi's maken!

Ik heb eerst de 4 digi's ingekleurd en daarna in 9 gedeeld en geknipt.

Hierbij wel gelet op de plaatsing van de plaatjes zodat je geen halve gezichtjes krijgt!

Toen heb ik ze met glossy accents op de vakjes bevestigd en er nog een dikke laag overheen gedaan.

Omdat dit goed moest uitharden kon ik maar een kant per keer doen,

dus heeft de Kubus mij zoiezo al 6 dagen gekost om te maken.

Maar het resultaat is echt erg leuk en door de glossy accents ook vrij duurzaam!

Ik heb er ook nog een doosje voor gemaakt waar de Kubus in kan.

Ook deze heb ik met een Mo Manning digi gedaan en versierd.

Aan de binnenkant zit een verhoging met een uitsparing waardoor de kubus heel speels rechtop blijft staan!

Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie van mijn nieuwste project vinden!

The people who follow me on Facebook have already seen a sneak preview of this one

But now that it's completely finished  and the box is made It's time to show the end result!

This time I pimped a simple Rubik's Cube (as far as a Rubik's Cube can be simple).

I had seen this somewhere with photos but I wanted to do this with hand coloured Mo Manning digis!

First I've coloured the 4 digis and then devided them in 9 pieces and cut them out.

I had to be careful of the placement so I would not get any cut off faces!

Then I adhered them with glossy accents and then layered some on top as well.

Because this had to harden really well I could only do one side at a time,

So making the cube has taken a total of 6 days all together.

But the end result is well worth it and it makes it more durable also!

I've also made a little box to fit the Cube in.

I also decorated the box with a digital stamp by Mo Manning.

On the inside I made a tray with a hole in it so the cube stands up inside the box!

I am really curious to what you all think of this new project I made!

Ik heb deze keer namelijk een naambordje voor bij ons nieuwe huis buiten gemaakt.

Ik vond bij de Big Bazaar een dienblad van 60x20 cm.

En had meteen het idee om daar met verf en sjablonen tekst op te tamponneren.

Ik heb de namen allemaal in verschillende fonts uitgeprint en uitgesneden.

Daarna heb ik met acrylverf de letters gekleurd.

Ik vind het zelf erg gaaf geworden en ben benieuwd wat jullie vinden!?

Here I am with something differend than what you are used of from me!

This time I've made a name sign for outside our new home.

I found this 60x20 cm serving tray at Big Bazaar.

And I emediately thought this would be cool with some white lettering on it.

I've printed and cut out all the names in several fonts.

And then coloured the letters with white acrylic paint.

I think this turned out really awesome, but what do you all think!?

The Two Of Us Mixed Media Canvas.

Hallo Allemaal,

Hier ben ik weer met een 50 bij 20cm mixed media canvas.

Deze keer heb ik de Dylusions inksprays van Ranger uitgeprobeerd.

En ik moet zeggen dat ik deze wel heel fijn vind om mee te werken.

In tegenstelling tot mijn eigen gemaakte sprays van acrylverf, Alcoline en water

en de sprays van Perfect Pearls zijn deze feller van kleur.

Hierdoor heb ik na de sprays het geheel nog wel opgelicht door er met gesso overheen te gaan.

Op Pinterest kwam ik een filmpje tegen van MsLiberty25.

en daar heb ik het idee vandaan om de hexagons uit het canvas te snijden.

Het was een enorme klus deze te maken maar het is het zeker waard om de tijd in te steken!

Ik vind het persoonlijk enorm leuk om deze mixed media canvassen te maken.

En het is natuurlijk een super manier om alle overgebleven spullies die we hebben liggen te gebruiken.

Hello Everybody,

Here I am again with a 50 by 20cm mixed media canvas,

This time I tried out the Dylusions inksprays by Ranger.

And I must say I rather liked these sprays to work with.

In comparison with my homemade sprays of acrylic paint, alcoline and water

and the Perfect Pearls sprays these are a lot brighter in color.

After I finished spraying my canvas I did go over most of the canvas with gesso to lighten it up.

On Pinterest I found a video by MsLiberty25.

and she inspired me to cut out the hexagons out of the canvas.

It was an enormous job to make this canvas but it was so worth it to take the time!

I personally think it's so much fun to make these mixed media canvasses.

And a great way to use up all those leftover bits and pieces we all have lying around.

Ik had op Youtube een filmpje gezien van tubeyoumaster1 waarin een 3D cupcake gemaakt wordt.

Mickey & Minnie Altered Alarm Clock.

Hallo allemaal,

Vandaag wil ik jullie een ouderwetse wekker laten zien die ik gealterd heb.

Ik vond bij de blokker een aantal wekkers voor maar 1 euro.

Het plaatje wat op de wijzerplaat stond vond ik helemaal niet mooi.

Maar ik bedacht me dat ik dat natuurlijk altijd zelf kon veranderen naar mijn smaak!

Dus eenmaal thuis aangekomen heb ik de wekker meteen helemaal uit elkaar gehaald.

(dat bleek helemaal niet moeilijk daar alles zo uit elkaar kon worden geschroefd)

En ben ik aan de slag gegaan met papier, strasssteentjes en bloemen.

Dit is het resultaat geworden en... de wekker werkt nog steeds!

Hello everybody,

Today I want to show you an oldfashion alarm clock that I altered.

I found this alarm clock at a local store for only 1 euro.

But I did not like the image on the dial face at all.

So I figured that it would be easy to change that up to my own taste!

As soon as I came home I completely dismantled the whole clock.

(that was easier than I thought because all the parts were just screwed on)

And after that I just went for it with paper, rhinestones and flowers.

This is the end result and... the alarm clock still works!

3D Alice In Wonderland "Mad Hatter" Hat.

Hallo allemaal,

Hier weer een van mijn creaties die ik in mijn time-out tijd heb gemaakt!

Deze "Mad Hatter" hoed heb ik geheel zelf gemaakt.

De basis heb ik gemaakt van karton en bekleed met satijn.

Daarna heb ik er een band omheen gemaakt van witte stof.

Verder heb ik de hoed versierd met allerlei embellishments die met het thema te maken hebben.

En natuurlijk een heleboel verschillende bloemen.

Ik vind hem zelf echt heel erg gaaf geworden.

Het is zo'n creatie waaraan je steeds weer nieuwe dingen ontdekt.
Deze hoed is maar liefst 21cm hoog en 20cm breed bij de rand.

Here is another creation I made during my time-out!

I made this "Mad Hatter" hat completely from scratch.

The base is made out of cardboard and is covered in satin.

After that I've put a band around the base from white fabric.

And then I embellisched the hat with all kinds of embellishments that fitted my theme.

And of course a whole bunch of differend flowers.

I really think this one came out looking rather cool.

It's the kind of creation where you find new things to look at all the time.
This hat is a whopping 21cm high and 20cm wide at the rim.

 Hallo allemaal,

Jeetje wat ben ik lang weg geweest.

Door wat dingen in de prive sfeer heeft mijn hoofd een tijd niet naar bloggen gestaan,

maar in de tussentijd heb ik wel degelijk hier en daar een beetje gefreubelt hoor.

De aankomende tijd zal ik een aantal projecten laten zien die ik gemaakt heb,

of waar ik momenteel aan bezig ben.

 

Als eerste wil ik beginnen met een label/etiket dat ik gemaakt heb voor mijn broer.

Mijn broer heeft namelijk zelf Appelcider gemaakt en wilde een leuk etiket voor op de flessen.

Uiteindelijk is dit dan het resultaat geworden.

Vooral het hologram logo onderaan het etiket vind ik zelf erg gaaf geworden.

Oh my it's been a long time since my last post.

Because of some personal issues I havn't been into blogging lately,

but that does not mean I have not created anything in the past few months.

In the next few weeks I will be showing you guys what I've been up to,

and what I am currently working on.

 

For starter I want to show you all a label I've made for my brother.

My brother has made his own Appelcider and he wanted a fun label to put on his bottles.

Eventually this is what we came up with.

I especially like how the hologram logo on the bottom of the label came out.

Op Pinterest kwam ik een idee tegen voor dit doosje.

Ik ben meteen het video lesje gaan bekijken en ben aan de slag gegaan.

Het is echt enorm makkelijk te maken en het resultaat is zo schattig.

I immediately went an viewed the video tutorial and started creating.

It's such an easy thing to make and the result is so cute.

I gave this one to my mom and she totally loved it.

Door persoonlijke omstandigheden heb ik helaas geruime tijd niets kunnen plaatsen...

Ik zal verder niet op details ingaan maar ik ben blij dat ik eindelijk weer even wat kan laten zien!

Deze keer heb ik een Frame gealterd met het 'Alice in Wonderland' thema.

Ik heb dit frame eerst bewerkt met crackle paint en daarna met Walnut Stain Distress Inkt van Tim Holtz.

In het frame heb ik een 3D werkje gamaakt door middel van boekpagina's.

Ik vindt het zelf erg leuk geworden, en ben enorm benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden!?

Due to personal circumstances I've not been able to post something for a while now...

I will not go into the details but I'm very happy to be back to show you guys something again!

This time I've altered a frame in the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme.

I've created the look of the frame with crackle paint and Walnut Stain Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

In the frame I added a 3D creation made out of book pages.

I think it turned out rather cool, and I'm curious to find out what you guys think!?

Vandaag wil ik jullie een Pop-Up kaart laten zien die ik gemaakt heb.

Door de tekst zou deze kaart heel goed naar iemand kunnen die een opkikker kan gebruiken!

Voor de binnenkant heb ik een rechthoek ingesneden en gescored zodat deze naar buiten komt.

Daarna heb ik deze beplakt met design papier en er een 'tissues' label op gedaan.

Boven in heb ik een sleuf gesneden en daar een stukje tissue papier door gestoken.

Hierdoor lijkt het Pop-Up gedeelte alsof het een tissue doos is.

Ik ben heel benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden.

Today I want o show you all a Pop-Up card I made.

Because of the sentiment this one goes very well for someone who need a bit of love!

For the inside I've cut and scored a reqtangle so it will pop out.

After that I added some designer paper and a 'tissues' label.

In the top part I've cut a slot and put some real tissue paper through it.

This way th Pop-Up part really looks like a tissue box.

Het is echt al een hele tijd geleden dat ik jullie wat nieuws heb laten zien.

Dat wil niet zeggen dat ik stil heb gezeten...alhoewel ik het wel even een tijdje rustig aan heb gedaan!

Maar vandaag kan ik jullie eindelijk weer een van mijn nieuwste projectjes laten zien!

Ik had bij Camilla een boek/kaart gezien die ze gemaakt had waar ik helemaal weg van ben.

Buiten dat Camilla enorm getalenteerd is en ik haar stijl enorm mooi vind...

vond ik het idee van een boekje waar je een kadootje in kunt doen enorm leuk!

Deze zouden heel leuk te vullen zijn met een rompertje en/of sokjes voor een baby kado.

Bijpassend heb ik ook een tube gedecoreerd in de zelfde stijl.

Ik ben enorm benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden.

I had seen these book/cards at Camilla's and I really loved them.

Apart from Camilla being such a talented lady I also love the style she has...

and I loved the idea of a book that could hold a little present in it!

These could be filled with a baby onesie and/or socks as a baby gift.

I made this matching tube I decorated in the same style as the book.

Hallo Allemaal,

Nadat ik laatst de twee schaduw doosjes van mijn kids had gemaakt,

vond mijn schone mams die zo leuk dat ze me vroeg er een te maken voor haar beste vriendin!

Mijn schone mams werkt namelijk al 33 jaar samen met haar bij de post en gaat volgende week met pensioen.

Ter gelegenheid daarvan wilde ze haar vriendin verassen met een post thema schaduw doos.

Toen we vorige week samen op de Kreadoe waren hebben we wat mooie spullen gekocht in dit thema.

Zo kochten we daar de bolderwagen miniatuur en de zakjes en daar heb ik zelf een post stempel op gedaan.

De kleine flesjes heb ik met een briefje en glitters gevult.

Op de foto zie je rechts mijn schone mams en daarnaast Guusta (haar beste vriendin).

After I made the two shadow boxes of my kids,

my mum in law liked them so much she asked me to make one for her best friend!

My mum in law and her friend are both working at the mail for 33 years and MIL is retiring next week.

because of this occation she wanted to surprise her friend with a postage themed shadow box.

When we were at the Kreadoe fair last week we shopped for some gorgeous postage themed stuff.

We bought the little wagon there and the burlap minibags and I added the postage stamp myself.

The little bottles are filled with a tiny note and some glitter.

On the photo you see my mum in law at the right side and Guusta (her best friend) next to her.
