Happy Birthday!

Happy HUMP DAY!!!!  I hope you are enjoying your week.  Today starts a new Challenge over at Stampotiques Originals blog and this weeks challenge is monochromatic.  I have to admit, this was a really hard challenge for me, as I love color and lots of different colors, so to stay in one color palette was really hard, but that's what challenges are for, right!
For my card today, I used Whisker Monster with Sign, and this Happy Birthday to you rubber stamp.  I'm not completely sure how I feel about this card or the color palette, but what am I sure of is this SUPAH cute image.  I am head over heels in love with these monster, and I really love this one, as I can put whatever sentiment I want in the sign.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you will join us over at Stampotique Originals for this weeks challenge. See you there!

Happy Birthday!!!!

Happy Hump Day!  I don't know about you, but this weeks is flying for me. That may be because I have been so busy these days.  I haven't had a chance to color in almost a week :( It will be next on my list though....
Today's project was created for this weeks Stampotique Originals challenge, which is to create something winged.  Well, when I think "winged", I tend to think bird, and I knew I was going to go with my Birdy Up from Stampotique, and I thought they would look super cute in Stampotique's Carousel , and then I added Stampotique's Happy Birthday to you saying. This was as super fun project to create, and it definitely covers the winged challenge. Wanna a chance to win $30.00 worth the Stampotique Originals product??? Well then hope on over to the Designers challenge blog and join us for this weeks challenge.  The only requirement is that you follow the challenge and use RUBBER STAMPS only, no digital...Also, you have got to check out the DT creations, they are nothing short of STUNNING!!
Have a great day and Happy Creating!

If I Only Had a Heart......

Happy Sunday. I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  We have spent most of the weekend inside, as we had a bit of a snowstorm.  The weathermen predicted a trace to 3 inches, well, they were WAY off....It started yesterday morning, and the snow came fast and furious. We were at one of my daughters Gymnastics competitions and what was supposed to be a 45 minute drive, turned into 2 hours and 45 minutes, and for all of that 2 hours and 45 minutes, my husband and I had to listen to my daughter complain about how HUNGRY she was...UGH...We would have stopped, except my son had a hockey game, which we were trying to make it to. We got all the way to our town, when they cancelled it....needless to say, my Daughter finally got food...LOL....  The rest of the day was spent in our Pjs, which is how I like it.  Unfortunately, it doesn't happen often enough...
So, today I would like to share with you, my newest Stampotique project...If you know my style, you may be a bit shocked....what's missing??????  DESIGNER PAPER...this may be the fist card I have ever made without DP, and you know what.....I love it...It was so nice to use my stamps to create my back ground.  I am also a complete sucker for hearts and everything Wizard Of Oz.  It is one of my all time favorite movies. I used all Stampotique stamps on this card.  I used Tinman, Daniels Hearts, and A Heart sentiment.
I am off to shovel. I hope you are having a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by.  Happy Creating!

Happy Bird-Day

Happy Sunday....Just a quick post here, as I have turned into an Olympics Junkie and can't take my eyes off the TV...and Womens Gymnastics is about to start and it is my favorite :)
Yesterday I spent the day at a friends house and stamped all day, so I have a card to share with you today.  Happy Bird-Day...hehehe....I made this card for this weeks Stampotique originals Bird and buttons challenge.  I am not a huge fan of birds, but I think these birds are pretty funny....and it works well for this weeks challenge.
Well, Like I said, quick post. Hope you are having a great weekend.  Enjoy the Olympics!!!

Art, Inspire and Create!!!

If you are looking to join this weeks Going Grey with Scrap-creations challenge, Please scroll Down :)

Happy Tuesday!!!! Hope you are enjoying your week.  I am happy to report that my crafting MOJO iis BACK!!! Amazing what free time will do for a girl.  I have decided to explore some new styles of stamping and creating. I am trying to play outside me "cutesy" box!  Today I have made a card for this weeks Stampotique originals "sentiments" challenge, as well as this weeks ttp://www.cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.ca/ sketch challenge, which is being sponsored by Stampotique.  As I am trying some new style stamps and techniques, I have found so many amazing altered artisit out there.....JEALOUS!!!! Anyway, I decided to try new things, but with "my style"....LOL....As you can see, I couldn't let the DP go, and I hate to admit it, but I have no idea how to use alcohol inks, and other materials. So, tomorrow I am headed to my LSS to take a class and will do so to with hopes of learning some new techniques

I made this card for Mary Catonquay's daughter Nicole, whom has just started in the world of crafting, and she is already sooo amazing. I am hoping she will start a blog to share her work...So, Happy Birthday Nicole....I hope it's a great one.

As I was making the card for Nicole, I decided it would also make a great Journal page....So, Here it is my journal page for my smash book.  As my kids would say "it's wierd", but you know what, I LOVE IT!!!!  Simple, yet different.....  I used my copics to color and then a pencil to add the dots of color in the back ground. Again, trying new things.  Well, that is all I have today. I hope you have a fabulous weekend.  Laters!!!
