De-stashing my art supplies
I have taken a few days off from creating art and decided it was time to let go of art and craft supplies. This week I am purging stamps sets and fabric. The new items will be listed on my Etsy shop, under Craftroom De-stash SALE!
https://www.etsy.com/shop/scrampalot?section_id=15783850&ref=shopsection_leftnav_1
The de-stashing is for lots of reasons: I have too much stuff and I feel like my life is being over-run by STUFF, I have a desire to help the family out financially, I would like to have walking room in my guest and office and maybe a possible move. All these are weighing really heavy on me the last couple of days that has made creating difficult.
I will try to post a few times this week. If you see anything on this blog that you would like to purchase please contact me.

This week our challenge at CSAYL was to create our projects with

Have a slice of pie...
Today was my monthly stamping class.
I just love being able to teach stamping classes with my Close to my Heart (CTMH) products.
Right now I'm in love with the new CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge.
This project was the special project of the month.
I can see endless possibilities for this slice of pie...birthdays, weddings, mother's day, or just
a sweetie pie day. I know he would love a slice of chocolate cream pie, HA! what am I kidding, Keith (hubby) would love any kind of pie! Great way to disguise a gift card, movie tickets, sweets and more.
If you think you and your friends would like me to come over and make this awesome little project let me know. I would love to do this project again in any theme.
Happy Stamping!

Playing with new stuff!
I'm like a kid in the candy store, which items should I buy?
I received my shipment of Close to my Heart catalogs. Isn't it pretty?
Would you like a copy? Just send me an email and I will send it to you for FREE.
Well I knew right away that I needed this stamp set.
Why you ask? Well here is a peek at what I decided to do with it last night.
And so many ideas are going thru my heads for next month's card classes.
Here is a close up.
I basically scribbled with a copic marker, spritzed it with
Copic blender solution and when it was dry
stamped this beautiful rose.
I hope that you join me at my card class or book a class for your friends.
Happy Stamping

June's CTMH card class
Yesterday I had so much fun with my stamping group. I am so lucky to have a nice group of ladies come to my house each month. We catch up, eat great snack and have a blast making cards and crafty things.
This month we made some fun summery cards for this month.
This cute little whale came from CTMH stamp set Under the Sea (C1500). We used Copic markers to color him in. Nice simple card to get the girls started with.
Next we moved on over to this card. Great way to use up scraps of paper. We used the CTMH paper pack Footloose (X7151B) and CTMH retired Thank you stamp set (D1316).
And I always have a super simple bonus card...just punch circles and away we go!
But remember to look at yesterday's post for the last card with the birdie. Overall the class was a success and everyone loved their cards. Next month we are going to do something vintage!
Remember tomorrow is my Christmas card Friday and you will see how I used this same paper pack and made a holiday card!
See you tomorrow!

Tuseday Share
It is Tuesday and first day of Spring.
We are currently in the 50's and everything is still brown. Doesn't seem so much like spring.
But it will come and soon we will be close to 100 degrees. Life in the
dessert.
So this week I'm sharing Cricut cards.
And I couldn't resist this little owl.
I used Create a Critter Cricut cartridge and CTMH
Stella paper pack.
Now what saying should this little guy have???
Happy Tuesday!

Nice quote, huh? Anything is possible. I think I should remind myself that eveyday.
I have to admit I have been missing making cards lately.
Infact I took the whole week-end playing with my
Cricut machine.
It was fun just to see what I could do.
My plan this week is to show you a few of the cards each day.
Here is one...
So this card was made with the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
and March's Stamp of the Month, Potential.
I can see potential of this stamp set being used many ways!
Well just a short and simple post for this evening.
Who's watching Dancing with the Stars tonight?

Today stamping class
Today we had a great time stamping. I have the best 6 ladies that come every month.
We have so much fun and enjoy some lunch too.
I tried to keep all the cards to thank you, except for the peeps card from yesterday.
All the cards were cut from CTMH Z1686 Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection. I just love that cartridge and all the stamp sets that go with it. I find myself using my Cricut more because this cartridge has a little of everything!
So to end the class and to send the girls out the door with a little
thank goodie of chocolate.
I hope that you have a fun group of ladies that get together and craft. If you have a monthly group, please share what things you and your friends like to do.
I would love to have a art quilt group and maybe a painting/mixed media group.
Well Happy Wednesday! Have a great day.

Super simple card
Yes someday I like to make super simple cards. I just fell in love with the little jar many months ago when CTMH came out with it. I knew I needed it but wasn't sure how I was going to use it.
Last week in my Valentine's card class we tried this card a few different ways.
First as a Valentine's card , then as a birthday card. There are about 8 different little stamps to fill your jar.
Go take a look at the stamp set and tell me what you would do with this stamp set?
Here's the link: https://japplega.myctmh.com/Retail/Product.aspx?ItemID=6251
Have a super simple Thursday!

CSAYL -
Good morning, its a wonderful Friday.
I want to first say Happy Veterans Day to all of those who have served or had family members who are serving or served. We are all so grateful for them. My hubby served for 20yrs.
Well it is Friday and that mean a card challenge at CSAYL!
This week's challenge is to play with a stamp set that you have never played with, either brand new or one that has been in the drawer. Believe me I could have chosen some out of my stash drawer!! But I didn't. I chose a brand NEW stamp set, in fact it is only available this month from CTMH.
This stamp set is named Holiday Wishes. You can get it for $5 when you make a $25 stamp purchase. Well I made my $25 monthly purchase right from my website!
Well I hope have a wonderful week-end. I'm working the quilt store, so new fabric and new goodies in my Etsy shop next week.
Happy Friday!

Playing with new stamp sets today
Yes I know I rushing the season by doing all these Christmas cards but I kept seeing this card in my mind. Well I am doing my Christmas card workshop next week too. I had a bear of a time trying to photo this card. It didn't photo as well as I planned. White is really hard to photo. NOTE to self: read up on taking pictures of white things. I have to say my photography skills are getting better when you are taking pictures here and for the ETSY shop. Have you gone over to my ETSY shop? I'll have to tell you about the shop on another post.
So this stamp set has nothing to do with Christmas, in fact it is a more of a thanks stamps set or even an Autumn stamp set. Which reminds me maybe I should make a few of these in the autumn leaf motif.
Go look at the stamp set and see how you would play with it.
Remarkable Wreath on my website.
I like how they did the love card, its super sweet.
Happy Stamping!
Judy
