While waiting for the baby I´ve made a few post ready from our flat. This is a more from the nursery, as I promised earlier. This used to be a guest bedroom and our "AV-room" (we had a projector and used to watch movies on a huge screen in this room...). See how it used to be here, in the last picture - I kind of miss it! ;)

While we wait for the little one I´ve taken some photos from our flat in Oslo. Today: the livingroom and our bedroom. We´ve made sort of a walk-in-closet, but are still working on the bed. The baby´s bed is ready!

We are still working on the nursery, but here is a sneak peak. Excuse the bad pics - when the room is all done I´ll work on getting you some really good ones.

As you can see from the before-photos this used to be our guest room, with a lot of dark colors. We´ve used the same furniture, just changed the lay out of the room and used a little wallpaper and paint. The only new piece of furniture is actually the small bed.

We still need to do a few things, like finish the wall with the posters, paint the bed (it´s still orange under the bedspread...), get a few new lamps and some more toys. Luckily we still got a few months until ETA!

This blog was supposed to be all about summer houses, but as you might know: the winter is long in Norway! That´s why I thought I might show you what we are working on at the moment: the nursery and the master bedroom in our flat in Oslo.

This is the before-pictures of the old guest room (last photo) and our bedroom (top two photos) - it used to be quite nice, but we didn´t have any storage room at all!

Elisabeth Hudson, the photographer and writer behind the Norwegian blog Inspirational Spaces has taken pictures of our flat in Oslo. It´s going to be in the Norwegian magazine Interiørmagasinet Maison soon. The chair and bench on the top picture is designed by my grandfather, Torbjørn Afdal. He was a pretty big designer in the 50ies and 60ies, and has made som much cool stuff! Did you know that he made furniture for the White House during Kennedy and that he made the office-furniture for the Norwegian prime minister after he retired?
