Center step card - Mermaid Anya - TGF
Here's a fun card fold to try out. It's called center step card.
I've cut my paper a bit wider, in order to actually fit a little bit more in the center than just the lovely Mermaid Anya :-).

Ahoy Amelia from the Greeting Farm
I just cannot believe how quickly a half a year has passed! I started out in January, and now it's already June, the final month for me to inspire at The Greeting Farm. It has been a blast, I must tell you. It feels like I've learned so much.
Thank you all, for leaving such lovely comments and feedback. I hope you do come back to the blog of The Greeting Farm, because I'm sure the'll be up for something funky pretty soon :-)!

And with the warm winds blowing here in Sweden, I feel inspired to work with a nautical theme. I just fell in love with both Oliver and Amelia in the Ahoy set. They sure are some cute puppies :-).
It seems like I haven't overcome my love for corrugated paper either :-). I think that corrugated paper gives a nice touch to just any project!
I couldn't have been happier to have come up with an idea to use small bottles on cards or altered things. And when I saw this wonderful little bottle, my heart skipped a beat.
I started working with this super cute Amelia from the Ahoy set. I coloured her in and decided on keeping her marine looking. I've also punched out two borders with a sea theme. I've also die cut a big gadget gear to put behind the month and date stamp.
Do you see the little cute seagull there?
And just to emphasize, I also put a post card stamp in the background... Just to give the feel of snail mail.
I've used a spotchy stamp to dirty the paper up.

Royal release at TGF

Each Wed. during the month of June, a new challenge will be issued. That's FOUR WEEKS of Royal and Regal FUN and each week, we'll draw a winner for their choice of Princess 1, 2 or 3 single.
THEN, at the END of the 4 weeks, it will be time to narrow it down to FOUR finalists. The WINNER of each week's challenge will be one of the four finalists to compete for the crown and be donned "TGF ROYALTY"! Winner will be voted for on our Facebook page and the GRAND PRIZE will be the ENTIRE July Release!

Preview Ahoy Oliver / Amelia at TGF

Royal preview at TGF
Hello! It is going to be a ROYAL month ahead at The Greeting Farm and today's first preview is a pretty good indication of just HOW royal... Introducing Princess 2!
With TGF's 3rd birthday being only a few months away, we were getting nostalgic and remembered just how popular "Princess Anya" was when she first took her throne as one of the first beloved Anyas. She has evolved so much since then, but really, who DOESN'T love royalty? Because of her timeless beauty AND the fact that we love to play dress-up here on the Farm, we are expanding the Princess collection and here she is, Princess 2:
Princess 2 will begin her reign along with other FABULOUS releases on June 1st... and be sure to stay tuned for a HUG contest announcement on the 1st as well! I'll be back tomorrow for more fun, but in the mean time, be sure to stop by the TGF blog for more information and find out how YOU can win Princess 2!

Thursday Throwback at TGF
When it comes to crafting and stamping, travelling has been one of my favourite topics for a long time!
Here's the lovely Travel Anya, that I just cannot resist using, time and time again.
I've put a lot of travel stamps in the background - with soft muted colours - using a masking technique - just to emphasize the point of travelling.
I also wanted to highlight one colour... in this case red...
And I emphasized the red colour in both text, Anyas hair, suitcase and shoes :-).

Hoo loves you + Abbey!
Det här är ett roligt kort. Eller rättare sagt en rolig vikning. Det är ett snedvridet stafflikort, som 12-åriga Oliver lärde mig på Kongahällamässan tidigare i maj i år :-).

Jag har använt mig av Spellbinders kugghjulstansar och lagt dem lager på lager. Jag har färglagt Abbey från the Greeting Farm med distressfärger. Jag måste medge att jag vill lära mig mera om färgläggningstekniken med just distressfärgerna :-).
Här ser du hur kortet ser ut när det är uppfällt.
Lilla Hoo-ugglan finns med i höger hörn.
Och kortet är fyllt med kugghjul av olika de slag. Tim Holtz har ju äntligen släppt Steampunk-kantstansen med olika stora kugghjul samt ett litet set med små små kuggisar, eller rattar som Kerstin A skulle sagt det :-).

Top Crop Tuesday hos TGF
Now it's my time to show off some of my The Greeting Farm gallery favourites again. I just love browsing through the gallery - both for inspiration and admiration :-).
Here's a Cho Cho train treat box, that KIMLAYU has made. Just check it out, and don't tell me that it doesn't blow your hat off!!!! Here's a link to her blog. And the best part with the train, is that she's made use of a WHOLE LOT of wonderful stamps from The Greeting Farm!
You've just got to love this!
And here's another favourite stamp... Oliver (for me he just screams Huckleberry Finn) - on a smashing tag. Crafty KellerStamps has made this one:
And here's yet another fabulous card.... made by DAISEYFREAK. I just love simplicity of the card. Well. At first it seems simple, but when I look at it some more, I see a lot of seems and fantastic details in the black & white colouring! Fantabulous job! Here's Crazy for Daisies blog.

Söta Oliver skall ut och resa
Tänk så handikappad man känner sig när bloggvärden inte är aktiv... Jag har väntat hela dagen på att få blogga om detta... Och nu hoppas jag att det funkar igen... :-).

Ja, det verkar bli en hel del alster med resetema från mig denna vår.
Denna söta Oliverkille från The Greeting Farm, får mitt hjärta att banka några extraslag, helt enkelt för att jag tänker tillbaka på min barndom och de gånger jag tittade på Huckleberry Finn-filmer. För mig är Oliver = Huckleberry Finn.

All that JAZZ - Creepin Sasha TGF
Fräcka stämplar gör mig glad. The Greeting Farm har ju verkligen lyckats i sitt jätteset med stämplar, tycker jag. En bra blandning av sött och tufft, och både killar och tjejer, förutom fina uttrycksstämplar. Den här tjejen heter Sasha, och du hittar den här.
I mitt tycke är detta en glad tag. Och ser du vad jag satt högst upp till vänster? En liten krympis av en annan TGF-stämpel. Nu ser du verkligen hur mycket det skiljer storlekarna åt :-).
Det är buttre Wednesday som också finns hos Scrap & Hobby.

We have another HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT for you today. Announcing our 2nd annual "CARDS FOR A CAUSE" event!
Vi har också något nytt att introducera för er. Vi har kommit till år två - i vårt årliga KORT FÖR ETT SYFTE-evenemang.
Last year you really brought us to tears and smiles on our faces with our 1st card drive. Due to it's success, we are rallying the troops again for a 2nd one and well, we're making it ANNUAL!
Förra året fick vi känna både på tårar och skratt när vi höll i vårt första kort-drajv. Nu när det är dags för år två, kan vi börja kalla det för det årliga evenemanget :-).
This year, we were moved beyond measure with so many emotions for the people of Japan as we watched live video of the earthquakes and tsunami that devastated so many people on March 11, 2011. It broke my heart to see videos of families in shelters, children looking terrified and not understanding what happened. Some of those families lost everything and when our loyal TGF customer Natalie Shaw emailed me a link to a school that we could send in handmade encouragement cards for children, we knew this was going to be something TGF wanted to be involved in! Our images are PERFECT to cheer up a child and we really hope you will play along!
Det här året har vi blivit rörda så till den milda grad av allt som hänt i Japan, med jordbävningar och tsunami som förstörde livet för så många människor den 11 mars 2011. Jag tog illa vid mig av att se familjer i sina skydd, förskräckta och oförstående barn inför det som skedde. Några av familjerna förlorade allt, och när vår trogna kund Natalie Shaw epostade mig en länk till en skla som vi kunde skicka handgjorda kort till, visste vi att det här var något för oss hos TGF att ta fasta på. Allt för att glädja barnen. Våra motiv är ju perfekta för att pigga upp ett barn, och vi hoppas att även du vill delta i detta :-).

Elena eller Abbey hos TGF
Here's the lovely Abbey on a specially folded card. It's a bit tricky to get all the pieces together, but you do feel pretty proud of yourself, having mastered it!

Ingen orsak till oro! Det är inte fel på dina ögon. Det är bara ett härligt sett med splotchy-stämplar som du ser. Nu finns det bakgrundsstämplar hos TGF:
We are trying something NEW this month...and it's the FIRST 'background' stamp that TGF has ever released. If all goes well, we are hoping to coordinate this set with something SUPER FRESH and NEW coming this summer...so stay TUNED! For now, I introduce you to our "SPLOTCHY BACKGROUND stamp set", which will be released on May 1st along with Hoo Loves You and the stamps we have yet to show you (wink wink ;)

Here's Hoo. And Hoo loves u!
And don't u just love the splotches in the background. I've stamped with both of the splotch stamps with distress ink to give it life.
Afterwards I've stamped the phrase Hoo loves you - just to finish things off with the second owl from the owl stamp set Hoo loves you.
Här är Hoo och Hoo älskar dig. Och går det att göra annat än att älska splattret i bakgrunden? Jag har stämplat med båda splatterstämplarna i olika distress-ink-färger för att ge bakgrunden liv.
Efteråt har jag stämplat frasen Hoo loves you i hörnen för att ge det en fullständig look, och avslutat det hela med den andra ugglan av tre från Hoo loves you-setet.

We are trying something NEW this month...and it's the FIRST 'background' stamp that TGF has ever released. If all goes well, we are hoping to coordinate this set with something SUPER FRESH and NEW coming this summer...so stay TUNED! For now, I introduce you to our "SPLOTCHY BACKGROUND stamp set", which will be released on May 1st along with Hoo Loves You and the stamps we have yet to show you (wink wink ;)

HOO LOVES U AT TGF
"It has been a while now since The Greeting Farm released an animal set, and we are adding to our super cute collection of forest friends today with "HOO LOVES YOU?!"
We think owls have been a real 'hoot' lately around blog land and well, you are going to LOVE Marie's fun and creative take on these cute creatures!
Det är ju ett tag sedan TGF släppte ett set med djurstämplar, och nu kommer det fler sköna ugglor som utökar skogsvänskollektionen på ett fint sätt. Hoo loves you heter setet.
Ugglor har verkligen varit i ropet (ho hooo) den senaste tiden, både i bloggar - och ja, nästan överallt... Och vi tror att du kommer att gilla vad Marie gjort med de sköna ugglorna.

Speaking of crafty, a HUGE welcome to our May Guest Designer, Jessie Rone! Jessie is no stranger to the blogging world and has mad skillz with ribbon, spiral clips, and the beautiful layered creations she posts day after day! I remember her enthusiasm for TGF stamps when she first used one for a challenge blog we were sponsoring and it was love at first sight...mutually :) Please visit her BLOG and give her a warm, farm -fresh welcome!
Och när vi ändå pratar om skapande, vill vi välkomna maj månads gäst-inspiratör Jessie Rone. Jessie har bloggat länge, och hon är vansinnigt duktig med både spetsar, spiraldekorationer och vackert lager på lager-dekorerade alster. Vi minns hennes glädje inför TGF-stämplarna vid en utmaning, och det blev kärlek vid första ögonkastet - från båda håll :).
