Cupcake in the Oven...

My pregnancy recap...
When we announced to our families over Christmas my Sister-in-law, Sandy, asked Graham if it was a boy or a girl! He has been very head strong from that moment his baby is a GIRL and that her name will be Cupcake! I was terrified when we went to the anatomy check if it was a boy he would be devastated. He was right all along it was a girl! The first ultrasound right before 20 weeks she was being very stubborn (just like her mom) and quite modest (just like her Dad... haha) and would not uncross her legs for the tech to get a good read. They asked us to come back in 26 weeks for another look. It took around 40 minutes on the 2nd ultrasound to get a picture to confirm Graham was having a Sister.

My pregnancy has been great! I have been able to work 40 hours a week and not take off a day for sickness! My morning sickness lasted for the first trimester and unfortunately the nausea was all day and all night but manageable! Just like with Graham my right leg became numb around 12 weeks if I stand for too long. In addition Cupcake is parked on my sciatic nerve and has been causing pain, numbness and varicose veins in my right leg!

Top and most memorable cravings this pregnancy has been; Burgers, Sweet Rolls and Celery! In fact I ate so much celery in one day I thought my GI track was going to rupture!!! Eat Sparingly

I took a tumble and rallied my knee while delivering a DC to my friends door step. I tripped on my own foot and came down with all  my extra weight on my knee! To protect my belly without thinking I tucked my head and did a somersault and landed on my feet! Graham reminded me for days, "Mama, please don't do anymore running somersaults and hurt your other knee" I had to rest my knee for 6 weeks! Which meant taking time off from Spinning & boot camp class at the gym! With enough rest it has healed up just great!

My besties Jordan & Jamie threw the worlds cutest Sprinkle for Cupcake! Every detail was adorable and so creative. Friends brought different kinds of un-frosted cupcakes and frosting for a cupcake decorating bar! They had endless fruit, nuts and candy for toppings with the most darling boxes to take home a dozen decorated! It was a fun shower and got generously sprinkled with darling and well-needed baby girl gifts! (more pics to come)

This is the bump at 37 weeks! The picture is a little deceptive, my bump does not stick out too far because I am carrying extremely wide! The profile is the most flattering angle for Cupcake's bump! At my first check this week Dr. Rappleye said she will not be coming early, I'm not dilated or thinned at all! He also let me know he will be out of town the week of my due date so he would induce me June 20th or 21st! At my anatomy ultrasound this week she is measuring 6lbs. 11 oz. give or take a pound! Here's to enjoying this little cupcake baking inside me for the next 2 weeks!

St. George with the Clark's...

We headed to St. George to celebrate Sparky's 60th birthday! We celebrated all weekend hiking, swimming and eating! It was such a relaxing get-a-way!

Mother's Day...

On Mother's day I woke up to this smiling face and a bag full of my favorite candy! He hid the bag in his room and was so excited when he woke up to surprise me! I love his thoughtful heart!!!

We surprised Yo-Yo with an iphone at lunch at City Creek! Her reaction was epic, she raised the roof and then proceeded to fake cry! She was so excited to instagram!

I found this pic and couldn't help and share it of Annie Belle and me with my best friend; gorgeous, gracious and generous Grandmother GOOSE! I love my Goose!!!

Easter in Moab...

We spent Easter in Moab with the Liddell's! Graham loved hiking although Dada had to carry him for majority of the time to delicate arch because, "he gave all his energy to the animals"! He loves his cousins and kept up with them all weekend; hiking, swimming, jeeping and rolling down the sand hill! They are so sweet to Graham and tolerate his endless hugs he gives!

Graham the Paleontologist...

First it was Clifford, then it was McQueen now he is OBSESSED with Dinosaurs! He quizzes me and corrects me constantly on prehistoric knowledge! He loves going to the Natural History Museum and acts as the Docent as he leads everyone with fun facts!

Gymnast boy...

This winter Graham took Gymnastics Lessons at Epic with his friends Chance and Ryker! He loved jumping on the tramp, the balance beam and somersaulting! His height and coordination never cease to amaze me!

Christmas 2011...

Santa's little helper ate up every Christmas activity! We spent any free time at the Grand America looking at the penguin scavenger hunt windows, seeing the Zoo lights and driving to look at Christmas lights. He sat on Santa's lap 3 different times and asked for 3 different obscure gifts including a fireman!  On Christmas Eve he participated in the Hair's Annual Nativity as a Dinosaur! And Christmas morning he opened every gift  and exclaimed, "This is exactly what I wanted!"

Visits from my friends!
