Totally Gorjuss -10 - Let it snow

What an appropriate challenge for some living in the UK at the moment. It is very cold here in the midlands but no snow.....yet!

At Totally Gorjuss we have a new challenge for you

Let It Snow

Now you have to look very closely at mine to see the snow. It is there....honest.
I used white glitter but never realised it wouldn't show up on the photo !!!!!!!Duh!!!!! It is on the flowers and at the base of her feet.

We look forward to seeing your creations.  Our sponsor this week is Crafters Companion.

Keep warm and safe this weekend

A great mother and daughter day!

good morning to all
Another glorious sunny day in England....how long will it last?!!!!!
Yesterday I finally had my new fridge delivered.. We do take these items for granted. I have been without a fridge since Saturday. Do you know how tricky it is to keep milk, yogurts, ham cool in this warm weather!!!!!!
Also my daughter, Emma had the day off work, so we went into town. We shopped, She made me buy some great shoes ( don't know if I can walk in them though!), We had lunch in Pizza Hut, We sat with our feet in a bowl of Fish ( will try to upload a picture of it Emma took on her phone) who nibbled at our feet...very tickly, and then we had our nails done. We had a great time ( but I don't think we will let on to her Dad how much we spent!!!!!)
The card above is an Anniversary card I made for one of my husbands work partners. I adore these Hanglar stamps. I have coloured with Copics. I hope they like it.
Below is my new fridge. Hmmmmm looks more like my sons Uni fridge! 6 eggs and a can of larger. Must do some shopping!

Also my killer shoes. What do you think?
have a wonderful day

How amazing! Can you believe this?

Yesterday morning we were at a Fayre at a hotel in Bridgenorth. I saw this woman and immediately recognized her as a friend of mine back at Senior school in Birmingham. We hadn't seen each other for 32 years!. She really didn't look any different. It really was amazing. She is now married with a daughter and she and her husband have a wedding photography business in Stourbridge. What is really weird is that I was thinking about her in the morning when I was putting on my make up,. I didn't like my mascaras and remembered the best one I ever had was in a yellow container called California and I bought it from  her as her dad used to have a market stall selling make up and perfume.
 Isn't life strange!

Today I have a Hanglar card to show you for the Lovely Hanglar only challenge.  A boy card for a change. The theme is anything goes.
Hope you like it
Thanks for stopping by

Lovely Hanglar only project

Hello everyone in blogland.
I do hope all of you are well. I am having quite a creative week making lots of projects which I will be posting. My first project is here and is my entry for Lovely Hanglar only where the theme is LACE.
Instead of a card I have made a little sewing box for a friend who has just started dressmaking classes.
My ingredients are
  • Box blank from Hobbycraft
  • K & Co. papers
  • PVA glue
  • Hanglar and Stanglar image
  • Distress inks
  • lace
  • Haberdashery items
  • Pinflair glue

So basically, I covered the box blank with the papers and then covered the papers with a layer of PVA glue to seal it and give it a glossy sheen.
I coloured the Hanglar image with distress inks
Then I attached various haberdashery items to the top of the box with Pinflair glue.
Simples!
Have a great day
Love sarah X
