This week's "Make and Take" will be very exciting! The wonderfully talented and very creative Sue from our Roseville Street branch in Leeds has put together a stunning card for you to make and with our very own Angela leading the session this week it will prove to be a great project. The cost is £5 and you are invited to BRING A BUDDY FOR FREE - all we ask is your buddy is new to card-crafting and hasn't attended any of our Make and Takes or workshops before and there will be no charge for them to attend. Saturday Afternoon - FREE DEMONSTRATIONS - no need to book.
On Saturday afternoon Angela will be demonstrating some of our newest products in store. We aren't going to spoil a secret by letting you know what she has planned for you but we're happy to hint that you may just learn some new techniques and tips for your card-crafting projects so it's well worth a view and you'll get chance to see some of the newest dies in action. There is no need to book- just turn up. Demonstrations will be taking place at regular intervals from 1.30pm onwards.
NEW FABRIC - HOW GORGEOUS ARE THESE?!
We have just taken delivery of these gorgeous Sakura - Cherry Blossom Princess fabric panels from Benartex which you can make up to Pillows and Cushions yourself - I am in love! At only £9.40 per panel these are such a simple sewing project to put together as all instructions are printed on the panel itself - easy peasy! Who are you going to make one for? (I'm making one for me!)
NEW Colours - Riot DK by King Cole
If you like lovely soft yarns which are just that little bit different you may want to take a look at the new multi-tonal colours of Riot from King Cole that we have taken delivery of.
My 10 year old went wild for the bright neon colours of their "Neon" yarn and is begging me to make him a jumper with it as he loves the vivid green and orange in it.
I'm really taken with the new shade called "Rhapsody" which is a little bit more toned down but still vibrant - perfect for a chilly day over Summer.

Diane has tailored this masterclass for those of you new to card-crafting and wishing to learn the finer techniques of stamping and for those of you who just feel they need a bit more confidence. Diane will patiently explain all the basic techniques of how to rubber-stamp correctly without smudging and smearing and will then show you the different methods of colouring available to you to get some very different results from one single stamp. At the end you'll be putting together all you have learnt to make a stunning card you will be proud of.
