Nail Crazies Unite - Gold Snowflakes
Hey there! I'm doing a new nail art challenge this year with Nail Crazies Unite. Challenges are every other Friday and have a different theme. The first prompt of the month is Gold Snowflakes.
As you may already know, I don't love true gold so I don't own many gold nail polishes. I had to get a little creative with this theme and selected more of a rose gold polish to do my snowflakes. I started with a base of Rica Silent Night which is a white crelly with tiny holographic sparkles and pale blue shimmer. I used What's Up Nails Snowfall Stencils and Colors by Llarowe Frohe Feiertage! from December's Polish Pickup to create the snowflakes.
I honestly couldn't be happier with how this turned out. I didn't want to take this mani off once I did it, but sadly cannot wear nail art to work so had to. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Nail Challenge Collaborative: December 2017 - Winter/Christmas
Hey there! Today I have my second post for The Nail Challenge Collaborative Winter/Christmas theme. I went with a snowflake look for this one.
I started with a base of Lynnderella Making MerriMint which is a gorgeous mint polish with shimmers. I love all polishes in this color family!
I used What's Up Nails Snowfall Stencils to create this look. Sometimes I have a hard time with the stencils, but they were so easy to use, and I love how this turned out. I used a Lynnderella mystery to create the snowflakes.
I really love this color combo. The blurple is a great color and even though it's not white for snowflakes it reminds me of winter with the aqua base.
I hope you like this look as much as I do. It's snowing here while I write this so I think this mani is fitting for this time of year. Happy Holidays!

Nail Challenge Collaborative: December 2017 - Winter/Christmas
Hey there! I'm trying to get back into my nail art challenges now that the busy season at work has ended. Today I have my first post for The Nail Challenge Collaborative December Winter/Christmas theme. Since it's been a couple of months since I've done nail art I had to ease back into it!
I started with a base of Lynnderella 12-19-16 PresentiMint. This color is beautiful. I love the mint base with aqua shimmer and turquoise glitters. This is a total me color. I did three coats plus topcoat.
I decided to use some vinyl nail stencils from What's Up Nails to create my wintry look. I used the Mittens Stencil and Lollipop Posse Lacquer Telephone Ice Cream and Polish My Life Fae Fever to create the mittens, and I used the Jolly Snowflakes Stencil and Telephone Ice Cream to create the snowflakes. This look is so cute! I love the mittens.
I hope you like my first look back from my hiatus. I will have at least one more look to share with you before the end of the year. Happy Holidays!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative - December 2016: Holiday Season
*purchased by me*
Hey there! It's been a while since I last did a blog post. September - December are my busiest months at work so I have not had much time for nail art. Today I have a post for The Nail Challenge Collaborative's December Holiday Season theme. I just went with a simple Christmas tree look for this post.
I used two polishes from Different Dimension's Homespun Holidays collection. The red is called Naughty, and the green is Nice. These colors are the epitome of Christmas in my opinion. When I saw them I knew I needed them especially for Christmas nail art.
To create the Christmas tree I used What's Up Nails Ribbon Tree Stencils and Different Dimension Nice. I do recommend a thicker coat of polish when using these stencils to make sure the design gets on your nail.
This is such a simple look, but perfect for Christmas. I hope that you like it as much as I do.
What holiday do you celebrate? Have you done any Holiday Season nail art?

The Nail Challenge Collaborative - September 2016: Harvest Time
*purchased by me*
Hey there! Today I have my first post for September's The Nail Challenge Collaborative Harvest Time theme. We have a lot of leeway with this months theme and can really do whatever we feel fits with harvest time. I'm excited for this prompt because I love fall!
For this look I went with some simple acorns! Fall makes me think of the local animals looking for nuts and seeds to store for the winter so it's their harvest time! I started with a base of two coats of KBShimmer Tiers of Joy which is a gorgeous cream color with gold, pink, brown, and holographic glitters. It's such a pretty color and a great transition polish between summer and fall.
Here is a picture of Tiers of Joy without the nail art so you can see how pretty the glitters are.
I used acorn nail vinyls from What's Up Nails and KBShimmer Oh My Ganache to create the acorns. Oh My Ganache is a beautiful chocolate brown linear holo that I can't wait to wear on its own, but I thought would be perfect for this mani!
Like I mentioned, I'm super excited for the harvest time theme! I love my acorn mani and have so many other ideas for this month!
What would you do for harvest time nail art? Any favorite fall polishes you can recommend for this theme?
I hope you like my mani. Please check out the other bloggers below. Thanks for reading!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative- January 2016: Purple
Hey there! I hope you're all staying warm this winter! Today I have my second post for The Nail Challenge Collaborative January purple theme.
As I mentioned with my previous post I struggle with vague themes like purple so I really didn't know what to do. I chose Essie Hubby For Dessert first which is a sheer candied lilac. Sitting in front of me at my nail polish table was Philly Loves Lacquer Make Gnome Mistakes from the January G.N.O.M.E. Box. I put these two polishes together and thought they'd be perfect for each other.
I did two coats of Make Gnome Mistakes on my index and pinkie nails, and three coats of Hubby For Dessert. Once Hubby For Dessert was dry I used cathedral window nail vinyl stencils from Rica to create the nail art on my middle and ring fingers. I finished up with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to smooth everything out.
I'm so happy with how this turned out, and I was right, these polishes were made for each other!
What do you think of this purple look? Have you done any fun purple nail art?
