Go Jazz Go!!!

For Dallen's 8th birthday Amber, Larry, Jamie, Karly, Katie, Dallen and I went to watch the Jazz play New Orleans (Chris Paul got worked by Williams...it was so sweet!!!!). The kids were so excited to see a game in person, and they had a blast! A shoutout goes out to Jamie for being the coolest aunt ever!!! She got them down near the floor before the game to get autographs (they got quite a few!), got them on t.v. during the pre and post game show, and a "sit down" with Big T Thurl Baily. She is freaking awesome!!!
Katie (Korver), Karly (Williams), Dallen (Boozer).
Me, Jamie, Dallen, Karly, Katie, Amber, Larry... The whole crew. A thanks goes out to the random dude I cornered to take this.
Haha....! I had so many comments on this one! (Most of which occurred after I'd walked past someone and they'd say something like, "Haha... Look at that! Mrs. Korver. That's so awesome!")

They are just too cute!

Haha.... Dallen was booing a call with me! He was such a hackler!!!

Cleaning house on Valentine's???

Okay, so I have no idea what bit me today... but I decided that cleaning the house top to bottom was the best thing for me to do on Valentine's Day. (I'm thinking it wasn't cupid.) I'm talking dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, toilets, sinks, floors, cupboards, countertops, mirrors, tables, etc... No dirt or dust bunny was safe! (I even mopped the floor in the laundry room and by the back door... those of you who know our house well, know that I was taking my life into my hands on that one.)

Before any of you send Levi horrible e-mails and texts about leaving me to cleaning on Valentine's Day all by myself... let me explain. Since Levi was up in Montana to a track meet all weekend, we decided to celebrate Valentine's Day on Sunday. He is coming clear down to Tropic and I'm going to go meet him there. (He did send me a card that got here yesterday though since he couldn't be here...what a thoughtful little devil huh?)

This is not to say that my Valentine's evening is going to be dateless however. ;) I get to spend it with my nieces and nephew. (-Cydnee and Trey) This way, my sisters and their hubbies can go out to dinner sans children.

Awe... blissfully quiet, romance!

Super Bowl Party & Weekend @ Jamie's!!!

Who says you need a Wii to play rockband?

I have to say it... I have the sweetest sister EVER!!! I drove up to Provo last Friday and surprised Jamie. (Well scared the crap out of her actually... but whatever.) She knew I was coming to watch the superbowl with her, but she thought I wouldn't be there until Saturday, so when I knocked on her door Friday night (with my hand oh-so-stalker-like over the peep-hole) she was a little worried about who was on the other side. Her aprehension quickly turned to joy however when she saw her favorite sister there. (Yes... Angie, Heather, and Amber... I am her favorite despite what she leads you to believe.)

Anyways... we spent Friday night doing all sorts of girly things such as facials, pedicures and toe-nail painting, and just chillin' @ her place. Then on Saturday we went "superbowl party food" shopping, to lunch and to a movie. (By the way... Paul Blart: Mall Cop = hilarious.) It was so fun.
Levi and LaCee joined us for church Sunday morning and then Jamie's friends Becca and John came over as well to watch the Super Bowl. Jamie is such a good hostess... we had made all sorts of food: her famous shish-ka-bobs (if you haven't had them, then you are missing out), cinnamon cake, chips, and all sorts of other Bowl-approved food.

LaCee chillaxing in the sweet chair that Jamie actually put together herself. (Sniff...I'm so proud!)

Anyways... GrEaT WeEKeNd!!!! Jamie... I can't wait to come up and see you again!
