The Nativity

Just wanted to share this Nativity wall hanging I made for Christmas gifts this year. I actually made 6 of them and have had requests for next year. I got the idea off of Pinterest and then changed it up a bit.

The images are from the Digi Stamp Boutique - Cute Nativity Set 2 .  I colored them up with Copics and added some Silver Stickles to the stars and Wise Men crowns and gifts.  I chose coordinating papers and mounted them all to 6" x 6" cork tiles.  The three squares are attached with staples and Tacky Glue to Burlap ribbon (Close to My Heart) with a Bow attached at the top.

I am entering this Project in the Digi Stamp Boutique December Challenge.

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and I am wishing you a New Year filled with many Blessings!!

Note Cards

Made with a Current Paper - Sonoma
I made so many sets of Note Cards for gifts.  I would use a Paper Pack (all the paper coordinates!!), and make 6 different notes with the first Initial stamped in the center of the card, and sheer ribbon wrapped around the top of the card and secured behind the initial.  I got so I could make a set in under 20 minutes!!  They make a beautiful gift tied with the ribbon used on the cards.  It was so much fun to see how all the different sets turned out.  This is a project I will do again and again!!

Christmas Gifts 2011

Willow's Box

I have found it next to impossible not to order the things I love from Close to My Heart!  The problem??  I am over loaded with papers I love!!  So this year for Christmas I tried to make several of my gifts using my paper stock.  I thought I would share a few pics.

I made Memory Keepers (no longer available :( ) for my Great Neices and Great Nephew:

Mahalia's Box

Ava's Box

They were fun projects.  I tried to incorporate things and colors the kids love.  It was a great way to use some of my older paper stock.  Once the boxes were complete I loaded them up with trinkets and goodies (complete with Sparkly Santa hats for the girls).  I hope these boxes hold many treasures for years to come.

Axel's Box

Sweet Inez

I have one more box to make (for Inez - she did get the hat!!) and am in the hunt for one more Memory Keeper...  Thank goodness for the Close to My Heart Bulletin Board Network for Consultants...!
