Recycling:

Image
It's Recycling fortnight over at  http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ I've recycled the border on the image and the large die cut, I didn't like the colours on it even though I enjoyed playing with the brushos.  I used a piece of card I had already cut up for the card base! I am entering this in the following challenges: http://crafting-with-friends.blogspot.co.uk/ http://lilpatchofcraftyfriends.blogspot.co.uk/ http://craftyfriendschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ http://thepencilcases.blogspot.co.uk/

Christmas Tree Decorations

Image
I've been rather tied up with family commitments and then really rather ill lately.  Moving around has been tricky, I've no energy and really tired.  I am hoping that given that the antibiotics finish tomorrow there is a chance that the tiredness will ease up a bit.  However, I fear it may take a while to return to normal.   Anyway I'm rambling and the point I'm trying to make is that because of being unwell I've not managed to craft lately.  I have however managed to put together twelve Christmas Tree Decorations with the help of a kit from the beadery company.  I'll put you all out of your misery now and show you some photos.

Girl Power

Image
It's girl power fortnight at  Ike's World Challenges  and what better way to celebrate the power of women than by acknowledging the women who started the fight for equality for women.  My art journal page celebrates the victory that the Suffragettes had when they got votes for women.

Halloween Colours

Image
It is Halloween Colours fortnight over at  http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ . I've followed through on the Halloween theme but rest assured you don't have to, you can just use those Halloweeny colours of orange, green, purple, black etc. I've used brushos for my background, Chic Pumpkin texture paste for the tree and coloured the image using my favourite colouring medium Derwent Colouring Pencils. I am entering this in the following challenges: http://angiesdigitalstamps.blogspot.co.uk/ http://dragonflyjourneys.blogspot.co.uk/ http://greatimpressionsstamps.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Challenge http://leftofcenterchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/

Edited photos

Image
I'm not a fan of editing photos, if it cannot be done when the photo is taken I tend not to bother however I had some issues with my camera when I went to Exmouth and really wanted to see what some of the ocean waves photos would look like in black and white so reluctantly used GIMP to alter them.  I would stress I haven't done any other alterations, just turned them to black and white using grey scale.

Things that fly

Image
It's flying over at  Ike's World Challenges  and I couldn't resist doing something inspired by my childhood.  I loved the books by Enid Blyton as a child and flying made me think about the wishing chair stories and how I'd love to create my own story about it.

Monochromatic

Image
Good Afternoon, It's monochromatic fortnight at  http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ . I've chosen this gorgeous holiday center piece from RSP.  I've chosen RED as my Christmas Monochromatic colour.
