Rainbow Birds and Mixed messages Samples

Hi There! I am here with my Bee Crafty samples for the brand new Doodle Art Rainbow Birds and Mixed Messages #4 that Bev launched during her Facebook Live on Tuesday. First up is one of the birds and a sentiment from the same set, teamed up with the big ones inkable Jungle Leaves and Freehand Borders #1
Next is a clean and simple one using the rainbow from Rainbow Birds and Lucky from mixed messages #4
My next card uses one stamp from each of the new sets and stamped onto the base card.
The background on this card was created with distress oxide inks and dinkables from sets 3, 6 and 8
For this card, I stamped and clear embossed the word happy then added distress oxide ink over the top. I sprinkled on water, blotted it and stamped the sun in orange ink.

Finally, I die cut a circle from an inky sprayed piece of paper. I added it to the front of a card, then stamped the leaves in versafine Clair and cut them out. The rainbow bird was stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with ecoline pens and a waterbrush. The sentiment is from mixed messages #4.

They are gorgeous stamps and I can't seem to put them down!
Thanks for looking!

New Stamp Launch today!

Hi There! I am here with the samples that I have made using the brand new Dancing Daisy Stamp set from Bee Crafty. They are being launched today over on the Bee Crafty Facebook page. I used the smaller daisy on my first card, embossing it in silver and stamping over the base card in lilac memento ink.
I blended the distress ink background for this one and added a little inking through the  Circles 1 Big one  inkable. The daisy was coloured with coloured pencils and the stamping was done with Barn Door Distress ink.

For this card I sprayed some mixed media paper with dylusions sprays. When this was dry I added some mustard seed distress oxide ink through the Circles for Circles big one inkable, then stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne and Distress oxide Lost shadow. The daisy was stamped onto white card and coloured with pencils. The sentiment is from mixed messages 2
I created two contrasting journal pages. The left page was smooshed with Lucky Clover and Twisted citron Distress oxide. The right page had an inkables mop up on it already from the big ones Bakewell
Finally, I used the circle easy frame and the horizon inkable to create the little scene, adding the larger daisy as a focal image.

I do hope you can join us for the lives.

Thanks for looking!

Robin and Wreath samples

Hi There! I am here with the cards I made for the Bee Crafty Stamp launch that was on Facebook on Tuesday. We had a fantastic day with lives, offers and giveaways. This first card was made with the smaller stamps from both the Robins and the Wreath set
This was the card I made during my live which you can find here. I also used one of the Bauble Easy frames and the snowflake mask inkable
This one was embossed in gold, then masked before adding smooshed distress oxide ink.
This background was created by blending broken China distress ink through a mandala inkable and then stamped with snowflakes from the Winter journaling girls sets.
Another using the easy frame bauble inkables,
and a vintage looking wreath with the script background stamp in antique linen distress ink.
Finally, here's the card from my blog post last week again. I did a second facebook live on Wednesday, this time creating a journal page using Distress Oxide sprays and the Doodle Art Houses. You can find the live here
We will be doing some similar journaling to this at my workshop this Wednesday at PDA card and Craft, Langley Mill. There are still a couple of spaces if you fancy it and you are local! Thanks for looking!

Blooming Beautiful!

Hi there! I have been busy all week making samples for the Bee Crafty stamp launch on Facebook on Monday, but took a little while out to complete my blog post for today. I have made an inky card for you today.

I began by smooshing some worn lipstick and peeled paint distress oxide inks onto some mixed media card.
Next I used crackling campfire and abandoned coral distress oxide ink through a dinkable.
I added the brick effect with another dinkable and vintage photo distress oxide ink.
On a piece of watercolour paper, I stamped the flower from the doodle art XL ladybird twice, colouring it with ecolines and cutting out the whole flower on one and the centre flower.
I stamped the leaf from the Just bloom set three times, colouring it with ecolines and cut them out.
On a scrap of card I stamped the sentiment from the same set and layered it with some black paper.
Finally, I matted the background onto a 7x5" blank card, assembling the flower using ultra thick gel medium.
I used:
Distress oxide inks in worn lipstick, peeled paint and vintage photo
5x7" card blank
black paper

If you haven't already heard, there is a Facebook launch of 4 new stamp sets and 2 sets of inkables on the Bee crafty Facebook page on Tuesday! Here's a little taster of what is coming!

Dream Samples for Bee Crafty October Stamp launch

Last Tuesday was such a fabulous day! Bee Crafty launched 3 new sets of gorgeous stamps and there were all sorts of giveaways, lives, videos and crafting fun on Facebook. If you didn't manage to join in, but want to see some awesome crafting in action, pop over to the Bee Crafty Facebook page to see the videos. You will also be able to see them all on Bee Crafty's YouTube channel very soon.

Here is a closer look at the samples I made.

This first one was stamped over a smooshed distress oxide background with stencilling and stamping with distress oxides too. The face and sentiment were stamped in Versafine Clair Fantasia
Next is a simply stamped single layer card coloured with distress oxides in Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. Dream was stamped in black versafine .
This was a very quick card stamped in distress oxides with the Sentiment  in versafine.
For this one I stamped slightly more than half the Dream face at each side of the card and watercoloured them. I added a few stencilled circles and coffee rings in between them.
I used Dylusions shimmer paints for this one, adding a patch of gesso in the middle for her face. I added some stamping with versafine clair and used inkables to apply more paint and Texture paste.
My mdf tag was gessoed, then I painted a little Dina Wakely heavy body acrylic paint at the top before spraying with water and allowing it to dribble down. when it was dry I stamped and embossed the face and sentiment, adding the hearts in Kitsch Flamingo Distress oxide. The lips and eyes were coloured with ecoline pens.
These stamps are so good for art journaling with! For my first page I used them in combination with the previous release of face stamps and journal art elements.

I then used my Dina Wakely Kraft journal, Scribble sticks and Pencil crayons, along with Dina Wakely collage papers. I so enjoyed doing this one I had to give her a friend!

The hair on this one was painted with dylusions shimmer paints...
And here they are together. The white stamping was done with the Hero Hues unicorn white ink pad.
This was the double page spread in my Dylusions mini journal that I completed in my facebook live.

And finally, here is another in my craft journal using the same paints and ink colours as I used in my live.

The new stamps and bundle offers are all here until the end of the month.
You can find the products I used here

Thanks for looking and happy crafting!
