Circle of Friends

Hi There! I am here with a super-quick and easy card for my blog post as I am being a busy Bee with samples at the moment. It would be a really good card for a beginner to have a go at too.

I began by placing the innie from the inkable easy frame circle onto a white card blank and sprayed it with salvaged patina distress oxide spray. I then left it to dry thoroughly.
next I stamped the Circle of friends sentiment in the centre of the circle with versafine clair black ink.
I covered the sentiment up using the circle mask and then stamped the coffee stain stamps all over in crackling campfire and wild honey Distress oxide inks. I removed the mask and managed to keep my inky fingers from the white space.
Here is the finished card. I rather like that colour combo!
To make this card you will need:
A 6x6in white card blank

There is going to be a facebook launch of new stamps a week tomorrow, so start looking out for sneaky peeks later this week.
Thanks for looking!

Sassy Journal spread

Hi There! Hope you have had a great time over the last few days and been able to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones. I am here to share a step by step for a rather cheeky journal spread I made recently in my Kraft Journal.

I began by painting white gesso on each page leaving a kraft border. I then painted over with the dylusions paint and dylusions shimmer paint in random patches.

Next I added some Dina Wakely metallic paint.
I used a dinkable and a texture disc to add some texture - some with texture paste and some with white gesso
Once this was dry I added stamping in Black versafine clair - First the ledger stamp...
Then some coffee rings and numbers from the coffee stains set. I set this aside to dry.
I stamped the Sassy Journaling Girl in black onto white paper and cut out
I stuck her to the page with Distress Collage Matte medium.
Next I selected a back chat sticker and added it to the opposite page.

Finally I added a few sequins, white splatters and highlights using moonlight gelly rolls, a posca pen and the Dina Wakely white gloss spray.

Circles galore and some Karate News!

Hi There! I am here with a quick and simple card for you today. It has been rather hot and sticky here in the UK and so a little simple crafting was just the ticket.

I began with a 6x6" white card blank. I used the innie from the small scalloped circle easy frame, Distress oxide ink in seedless preserves and a blending brush to go around it three times. It doesn't need to be central.

Next I took the circles D'inkable and inked through it with a blending brush and blueprint sketch Distress Oxide ink.
In the centre of the card I stamped the Dragonfly using versafine clair ink.

I then stamped the coffee stains in the same shades of Distress Oxide ink randomly around the card.
I added a sentiment from the small words set, stamped on to a scrap of white card and edged with the seedless preserves ink. I used gel medium to attach it to the card.

Finally I added a little pastel blue ecoline to the body of the dragonfly and then made it sparkly with a gelly roll clear stardust pen.
Here are links to the products I used:

Here is the finished card once again

Now then, whilst I am here I thought you might like to see a few photos from my weekend. It was the first Blackbelt Grading since December 2019 and I was there to go for my 1st Dan.
