Beary Special Card - TMS #643
Hello! Today at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are starting our last revisited sketch of 2021 and Tammy has selected sketch #631 as her favorite. Last time around I made a Thanksgiving card, so this time I made a Valentine's Day card. The panda image is by Gerda Steiner and it was colored with Copic markers. I made the sentiment with the computer and everything was adhered flat. We would love for you to join us this week! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Don't Be Sad Card - TMS #517
Happy Tuesday! The weeks keep rolling by and each week we have a new challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch was designed by Debbie Foster and I decided to turn it to accommodate the image I wanted to use. The image is called Sad Stymie by Unity Stamps and it was stamped with black Memento ink. So how will you use this sketch? I can't wait to see your card in the gallery. Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Don't forget to link your card by 8 pm EST on Sunday.
This Don't Be Sad Card was made for my hubby in an attempt to cheer him up. Challenges entered: Alphabet Challenge (K for Kind Thoughts), Krafty Chicks (Masculine) and Southern Girls (Father's Day/Masculine).

Valentine Panda Card
Last year I was playing along with Gerda Steiner's progressive challenge, then I had surgery and stopped. This months new darling Panda image prompted me to start playing along again. I really love this cute image and it's perfect to use on the cards I make for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive. The cards for the card drive are supposed to be gender neutral which this one really isn't. So, I'll probably send this Valentine Panda Card to one of my nieces. If you have time this month I encourage you to make cards for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive, click here for all the details and guidelines.
The patterned papers on this card have been in my stash for awhile and both are by The Paper Studio. Copic markers were used to color the panda image. It was challenging to make the purples match! I used the following purple Copic markers: BV11, BV17 and V17. The pink hearts are a little light but I didn't have the exact shade needed, so I used: R83 and RV34. The green is a single color of YG25. N2 was used to help shade the black on the panda and that covers all the colors used. I use this XOXO sentiment a lot on Valentine's cards and it's also by The Paper Studio. That's about it! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Wild Wishes Card
Happy Tuesday! It's time for a new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and this week our theme is Exotic Animals. It was a lot of fun getting a little wild with these Jungle Animal Faces images provided by our sponsor MyGrafico. There were several animals to choose from and I used the panda, giraffe and zebra. We would love for you to join us this week in our Exotic Animal Challenge. You have until mid-day next Monday, July 11th to play along. Click here for all the challenge details and wild design team inspiration.
When I first started making cards I loved using zebra patterned paper. It's been awhile since I've made anything with it, so I was happy to see this challenge. To create my card I adhered the giraffe paper by Bella BLVD and the zebra paper by The Paper Studio to a piece of black cardstock and then adhered directly onto the white card base. For the offset white focal panel I decided to add some gold texture paste by Heidi Swapp using the Dot Fade stencil by Tim Holtz. The images were printed, colored with Copic markers and punched using a 1 1/2" circle punch. The images were then layered with a 1 3/4" scallop circle with black cardstock. I used the computer to print the sentiment and that's it.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your Exotic Animal creation in the gallery at Tuesday Throwdown.

Panda Love Valentine's Card
Snowflakes are falling in Oklahoma today which makes for a great day to create Valentine's for the Cards from the Heart Card Drive. The card drive is organized by Winter Sims and she distributes the cards to hospitals for the kids who are hospitalized to receive a Valentine's Card on Valentine's Day. This is my fourth year to participate and I hope you will participate this year too!!! I usually create three or four designs and make multiples of each. There are strict guidelines for what can be used on the cards, so please CLICK HERE and read Winter's post before you start creating.
My Panda Love Valentine's Card uses a new to me digital image fron Deedee's Digis (no longer available, shop closed) and patterned papers from the retired Stacked with Love paper stack from Stampin' Up!. The Love sentiment is from TPC Studios and was stamped using Memento black ink. Everything was adhered flat onto the card to make it easier to ship and that's it.
This card is entered into the following challenges:
- Brown Sugar: Anything Goes
- Jo's Scrap Shack: Anything Goes
- Cute Card Thursday: Hey, What's New? (image)

Panda Flower Birthday Card
Happy Monday! This weekend I didn't do much crafting. I spent time with the hubby and we enjoyed just relaxing around the house. However, the Color Throwdown Challenge (CTD352) was still on my mind this morning so I sat down and created this Panda Flower Birthday Card.
The layout comes from this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge. All papers for this card are from Stampin' Up! The bow is recycled from a cat toy that ended up not being safe for our kitty crew and the panda and sentiment stamps are by Crafter's Companion. The image was colored with Copic Markers and below the image panel are three bitty punched flowers accented with candy dots in the center. I really like these colors together and the sketch was just what I needed to get motivated. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Panda Thinking of You Card
Hello! I hope you're having a terrific day. Last Friday I wanted to get out of the house, so I went to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Tulsa, OK. There was nothing I had to have when I went but I sure did find things I wanted. This Panda stamp by Crafter's Companion was one of my purchases. Isn't she cute? I had so much fun coloring her with my Copic markers! The colors chosen came from the challenge at The Doodle Garden. Using the color challenge helped me decide on the patterned papers and I ended up using random pieces from my scrap stash. The sentiment is from the Kind Words set by Verve Stamps. To finish it off I added a butterfly that I made months ago but never used. Well, I hope this Panda Thinking of You Card made you smile and I appreciate you stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your day!
My Panda Thinking of You Card is entered into the following challenges:
- The Doodle Garden: Color
- Crafty Little Fairies: Cute & Cuddly
- Suzy Bee's: Anything Goes
- The Crazy Challenge: Cute Little Animals
- Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
